It was an awesome experience, spending time at the location. The staff were very cordial and friendly. Food was excellent.My only request is the hotel management would be to make the environment handicap and senior citizen friendly. The entrance requies attention to have a slope and railing, to enable easy wheelchair movement.

Its all about location location location for this resort. The way this resort is situated means you have the entire KRS garden to yourself. My family and kids absolutely enjoyed the place only because of the gardens.However when it comes the actual resort, some things can be improved. The rooms are spacious but a little old style. Plus its a bit dusty everywhere. The curtains inside the rooms need a good wash. And even the bed linen had some stains too. Apart from these small quips, the Elephant bar is and so is the restaurant.The staff and people in the hotel are very good and helpful. We were very happy with their services.

Excellent place to enjoy beautiful Brindavan garden. Good hospitality and nice food is added advantaged. The Rooms are sanitized which makes it safe especially during this pandemic situation. Bicycles are provided incase you want to enjoy a small tour of the garden. I suggest going on a weekday would help you to enjoy the garden walks.

The location of the hotel is best. And something one cannot get. The hotel staff is courteously, especially the staff who helps in travelling to and fro to main gate. You will have to leave the car at main gate. The restaurant food is average and we preferred to complete meals outside. The breakfast was also average

Had an amazing stay at Royal Orchid Brindavan. This heritage hotel has retained the old charm of the palace and yet function as a splendid modern day hotel. The general manager, Mr.Rishi and his staff are very courteous and they adhere to all your needs. The view of the Brindavan garden from the hotel is so serene ans mesmerizing and u get direct access to the gardens. They have a splendid buffet menu and the food was top notch. Thanks for an amazing experience. Will come back for sure.

Stayed for one night and this property doesnt feel like 5 star, rooms and property is not at all maintained.Saw few stray dogs roaming inside the hotel.The only advantage is brindavan garden view that also could not be enjoyed from balcony as monkeys are there.

Booked a king room in the hotel. The room and the hotel has a good heritage touch to it.The rooms are vastly spacious and ambience is also good. The rooms are facing the brindavan gardens and the plus point is you get access to the gardens 24*7. Early morning walk in the gardens with absolutely no one else other than those staying in the hotel is a bliss. The morning bouffet was also nice,overall a very good experience. But.. with respect to the room- they definitely need to change the bed and the mattress. Mattress was saggy gave a bit of back pain in the morning and the bed also,every time I moved an inch, the bed sort of knew it and made a sound of its own( old bed and wood maybe?)But the hotel stay was very good. Staff was courteous, food was great, rooms were good sans the stuff I told, and the view and gardens absolutely loved it.

First time visit and stay at Royal Orchid Brindavan Gardens palace hotel. One of the wishes ages ago, now I can tick of this place. Its a decent place not extravagant but on par with a budget hotel overlooking the famous Brindavan Gardens. Food is good, no complaints, complementary breakfast is pretty good enough. Quality of food is good, would give a 7/10 rating. Super relaxed place with small pool and a kids pool. A life size chess board. Beautiful spa and massage centre for the guests at extra cost. Courteous staff and service. In the morning time, you can have the entire garden for yourself since the crowd is absolutely less, go for long walks. Decent place for couples and families who want to spend relaxed time...!

Somehow the manager didnt give you a feeling of being welcome there. While reservation had been made the cops at the gate were not informed a stupid wait at the gate. Only the bartender was the only person interested in customers. Food mediocre. Overall dont recommend this place. Needs a dynamic manager.

The Property is at one end of the Majestic Brindavan Gardens. An old Palace converted into a Luxurious Hotel. Opt for a Queen or King Suite on the 2nd or 3rd Floor for a breathtaking view of the Gardens. Staff are very courteous and professional, Kudos to the hospitality. The Cks restaurant inside the property had some amazing dishes and yummy as well. Overall a well spent time in the Royal Orchid Brindavan

There was no update by the hotel staff or on the website that we should pre-book before visiting the premises(even for a cup of coffee). The security personnel were non responsive.Id suggest the hotel staff to be more proactive in their updates on site/google so that people avoid walkins and being rejected at the security gate!

There is nothing special about the hotel except its stunning view of Brindavan Garden, for that you have to pay heavy price.Hotel is situated at most inconvenient location, outside the boundary of Mysore. It is difficult to get a cab for return journey and taking advantage of this Hotel people demanded four times the normal cab charges to go to the city which we refused and with much difficulties finally managed to get Uber at one fourth price of what Hotel demanded.Food is below average, that too at an exorbitant price as we dont have any option in absence of any other hotel or restaurant nearby.A big disappointment.Nothing worth mentioning.

This is probably the best Orchid hotel in the entire chain! Exclusive access to the Brindavan gardens, the old colonial construction, wooden staircases, a pool room, breezy balconies and view of the KRS dam and gardens makes this property well worth a visit! The food is good and the service very good. Good wifi as well. Theres a nice bar on the first floor too. Since the entire complex is within a security zone its not very crowded. The rooms are spacious and modern with an old world charm. Bathrooms come with bathtubs instead of shower cabins. The best part is the view of the gardens and dam from the comfort of your balcony. Great for families, and, couples.

For all our request we got answer: Sure sir!Good location, view, food!We wanted good room size, pool and area where we can make baby play, with kid safety was our first priority. I haven’t seen any staff member without mask throughout the stay. We requested for bath tub for kid due to pool unavailability, they upgraded us to King rooms. If you request the food will be prepared according to your taste. We requested for preparing baby food, cleaning room and water everything was served with smile!

The property has beautiful view of the garden and has decent food options. We travelled there just after lockdown was lifted, so the service was slow and food was average, but the view and the cool breeze made up for everything.

Superb hotel! The interiors are in ethnic style. Everything is wooden. The indoor plants added a beautiful look to the corridor. Balcony view was one of the best feature of this hotel.Housekeeping service was excellent. Everytime we wanted something, they responded immediately. Breakfast was great, we had uttappam and poori.

Positives:-Excellent location.-Great food at CK restaurant.-Great room service.-Humble staff.-Clean rooms and good linen.-Nice spa facility.Negatives:-Swimming Pool closed(citing the Covid guideline) which is understandable.-Check-in experience needs to be looked at. We had to wait for a good 1.5 hours after arrival to get a room. No refreshments were provided during that time.-Check-out experience needs to be looked at as well. The invoices provided to us didn’t match with the expenses made at the hotel. We had to wait for a good 45 mins before leaving just to sort this out.-Service charge was charged when the packaged deal included GST component. Not sure why??Hope this review helps the future travellers! Overall had a great time off.Thanks👍🏻

A nice luxury hotel inside Brindavan Garden. Spacious rooms being an old heritage building. Good staff and service with reasonably good food. One big challenge is if you reach late (10.30 pm) onwards, the gates are locked then you need to call hotel authorities to allow you inside by police as its inside the garden and next to the Dam.

Always the best experience. Been to Royal Orchids Brindavan Mysore for 4 times and it dazzles me everytime. Love the atmosphere and hospitality of the staff. Keep it up!

Arrogant behaviour of staff. Just called to enquire about room availablity and all-meal plan. The staff was very arrogant and disconnected the call. Their website mentions about all-meal plan. The hotel executive doesnt know and he is arrogant with customer.

A wonderful experience !!! The food was awesome and ambience is enchanting. The moment you step in you will see a different world, colonial architecture inside. The restaurant is round in shape with antique furniture. The middle of the room is decorated by a low hanging chandelier. Behind the hotel you will see a pool but it was closed due to pandemic. The staff is cordial and pleasant.

Huge advantage of it being inside the Brindavan garden. You have the park all for yourself in the morning once it opens. You can take a walk in the beautiful park. All rooms have a view of the garden and the KRS dam. And you can checkout the gardens evening light show and musical fountain without worry about having to head back to the city in the night.Hotels service is good. Restaurant rates are fair. Not that good . Not satisfied at all. The service is very slow. Not good facilities and even the swimming pool is not open ( approx about 1st week of March) . I wouldnt recommend this. On the positive scope , there is a great view of the Brindavan Gardens

I had booked a king room as pets were not allowed in other rooms. Rooms were overpriced still I booked it as I was travelling with my pet dog. View was great and room was good. Food taste is worse. Other services are slow. Overall, value for money-2/5.

Its a heritage property located next to Brindavan garden the highlight of the property is its view from balcony its having one of the best view of brindavan garden the property is having in-house bar multi cuisine restaurant and bar the staff are very friendly and welcoming overall its a great stay..

Very traditional rustic asthetic as they have kept the old infrastructure as it is. Rooms are clean, wooden floors, fans and air conditioning although the open windows and doors give a clean fresh breeze. Would not recommend the food however, since it was holiday and pandemic season skeleton staff were pulling 24 hour shifts so maybe thats why some of the food was stale. The hotel is about 12 Kms from the city so would recommend traveling with a personal vehicle and carrying emergency travel items with you. There is no lift so get ready to climb stairs! The gardens get crowded as the day progresses so recommend a visit in the morning. Overall a pleasant, peaceful stay.

Maintenance is average but food is really good

Stayed at this property over the weekend, trying to come out of home after over 8 months and looking at the precautions taken by the hotel, as mentioned in the newspaper ad recently. The location of this property is unique as it is situated inside the Brindavan Garden offering great views of the garden with the KRS Dam wall in the backdrop. One can spend the whose time sitting in the balcony watching the garden. Best part is, you could have the garden almost to yourself in the early mornings (when its closed to public). Being a heritage building, room size was quite big with good and matching interiors. The hotel staff promptly attended to our needs. Pool was closed From pandemic precaution perspective though, they seem to have just kept an usual sanitizer and are scanning for temperature on entry. The restaurant serving buffet breakfast with guest touching same crockery and coming to close proximity probably needs to be looked into. Otherwise, food variety and quality was decent. Overall had a good break!

The location is awesome and is the view from balcony. The luxury of early morning morning and late evening walk in the brindavan gardens was memorable. The pool is closed but all other facilities are available. The breakfast buffet spread was good and elaborate. For lunch and dinner they dont have buffet. Food was tasty but the service was little slow. Still we enjoyed bcoz we were a group of 9(3 families) so it was time to laugh and chat. The rooms were all clean and sanitized. Only alternate rooms are allotted and since we asked together, we were given in the top most floor and no one else was there in our wing. Totally it was a good time together and we enjoyed.

Best example for what constitutes a star hotel !!!Great experience & perhaps the best said example for what a star hotel is all about, and added on to this is the heritage with an amazing view of KRS…5 stars is really less for this and I am rating it at 5 coz I dont have an option here to rate more ;-)We stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights and was a trip aimed at family get together and we were suppose to assemble close to 100 people of the age range starting from 6 months to 90+ years. This is a very big annual event for our family and we were worried on how it goes on.But the experience turned out to be amazing with excellent feedback from all the age groups.Very neatly maintained property & most courteous people I have come across in the near past.So very well maintained rooms, washrooms, living area, party place, dining hall etc.,Very good blankets and pillows instead of just the regular ones like most of the hotels provide. This was a good change and the beds were super comfortable, not the thin hard mattresses that we have seen in many other places.Surrounded by complete greenery and a very cool breeze, the KRS water park and dam was a welcome way to greet mornings.Awesome food – every time when they served the food, we thought that its too much of quantity, but we used to finish that huge quantity coz of the taste and quality of the food.Finger lickin delicious and we always used to stop just coz the stomach was full, but still wanted to have much more and was unable to. Am sure I have put-on a few kilo’s just in 3 days of stay.Will have to mention that Rishi and his team are exceptional in running the entire show and I am sure that all 100+ people with me will second my thought.Three cheers to the entire team!!!

Rooms are very neat & well maintained. In house hotel serves good food and it was delicious. Staffs are very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is situated in a superb place. Rooms face the Brindavan Garden and it was a good look out from the Balcony and their elephant bar.

Nice view of Brindavan garden and good spacious rooms.Only concern is maintenance of restaurant which needs to be upgraded. Windows are not cleaned. Also providng a jar of water as complementary is an afe old concept. Please provide bottles water as complementary when we are paying such a high room rate.This 2 parts is slightly disappointing for me. Reat all are 5* services.

Royal orchid brindavan garden located at inside KRS dam, Location is very bueatifull and having a very good ambiance. You can plan an events here. A day out can also be planned. Very good place for relaxation. You can enjoy the fountain lights in the evening. Foods are also good. Building is like palace only feels like vintage. Good hospitality and very good maintainance.

The place is very beautiful. The hotel is very well maintained. But very very disappointed with food quality. We ordered paneer and we it was so sour we could make out how old it was. The staff is very slow. We have to call to reception 3-4 times asking for one thing. Flush in the rooms were not working. While checking in we decided for a price and while checking out they billed different amount. Theres no lift in the hotel. Worst experience in the hotel and with staffs

Dont go for this hotel , it not what it seems like, it may be food or rooms. Food is not worth it for the price and rooms are ok but again its not worth it. The only good thing or the best thing is the staff. They are very sweet.

A wonderful property overlooking Vrindavan Gardens. Its actually staying inside Vrindavan Gardens with exclusive entry in the off hours to the garden. The breakfast spread great as well. The ala carte services are not good, else its a very fine stay worth the price.

The food orders were taken and then we had to wait for one and half hours for the food to arrive. When I asked why it took so long , the reply was that too many orders were there for one section. Also the sequence of orders served were lopsided. First they served some starters, then the main course of a few dishes were served and at last the remaining starters and soft beverages were served. We had to cancel quite a few dishes as we had no mood to eat after such a fiasco.Other than Sorry which was very superficial and robotic, they was no genuine interest from the management to do any kind of service recovery.Being a Hotelier myself, I felt this as a complete lack of interest on the teams part to deliver quality service to customersVERY BADLY MANAGED PLACE. MUST NOT VISIT FOR ANY MEAL.

Location is awesome . Overlooking Brindavan gardens and KRS dam. Scenic balconies and a old spruced up room. Rooms are averag e. Do not expect much. Enjoy the walk inthe morning . Beware of dogs though. Downside is you are not allowed to see the Dam from top . That was crazy. Morning walk in the garden is after 0700 as mentioned by security. To have the garden to you undisturbed by public is an uber feeling. Food in the hotel is great . Reasonable too. Breakfast was awesome. Members of hotel are good and very cooperative

Location is the only + point of this property for the price we are paying. Otherwise average stay. Beware when you order food at resturant. Their serving quantity or portion of any gravy is just enough for one person.

It is a beautiful place with exquisite interiors. There is a scenic view of the Brindavan Garden from the balconies. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The food at the restaurant is good but can be improved in terms of flavour. The place is well maintained except for the swimming pool. Regarding the Covid-19 precautions, temperature is checked at the entrance, sanitisers are available around the ground floor and the staff wear masks at all times.

Visited this picturesque restaurant for lunch ( you need to pre book to be allowed to drive in through KRS) . We were pleasantly surprised by how good the food and service was .. will definitely visit again ..

Just that they have the good views from all the rooms.. poor operations.. rude people.. food quality not upto the mark.. we literally used to go to the kstdc hotel beside this property and eat all our meals except for breakfast which was complimentary.. only okay-ish experience was the elephant bar that they have.. but its a tad bit costly..

This is a great place to stay. Nice view of Brindavan gardens will make you love this place. Evening after gardens are closed for public or morning before it is open for public one can see the great views of garden from the hotel and also can get inside the garden. Excellent location, elegant property, good service. Need to put the electrical switches in more obvious locations, provide a bit more light in the room and install better bathroom fittings like showers.

Nice location with colonial type of ambience. The hotel overlooks Brindavan Gardens, which are easily accessible. Very quiet place with lots of birds. Staff good. Food very nice. Its a two storey building with no lifts, so the elderly and disabled should ask for a room on the ground floor.

I would never recommend this hotel. Amenities werent proper, room service was pathetic and rates are inflated for no reason
