The best experience I have ever had with an ashtanga class while I was in Mysore. The teacher was very practical and knowledgeable about his teaching. It’s a great place to deepen my peace and a main reason that I’ve been keeping coming back to Mysore.

My time spent with Kushal at his school was truly humbling. He is a wonderful teacher that helps you to navigate into the deeper layers of the practice and really understand the body. He really helps you to understand the diner details of yoga and build a solid foundation for you to grow and progress on your journey.

Mysore is the city of Ashtanga and many Yogis flood the city every year looking for professional and profound teachers. Kushal, the owner and teacher of this school is a very knowledgable Yogi, with years of experience and what I personally like the most about him is his empathy. He has the ability to see the potential of every single student, bringing the best out of each and every one. Expect amazing hand-on adjustment, a perfectly clean shala and practitioners from around the globe.The school not only offers daily classes but also helps with accommodation or plans events, like cooking classes or day trips to the suburbs of Mysore.Make sure to contact the school before traveling to Mysore. There is nothing like classical drop-in classes in Mysore.

This is a good place where I learned to work asthanga yoga with my own rhythm and where I was able to correctly flaws in the sequences and memory of the body. The teacher is with his students as sculptor is with the clay.Namaste 🙏 teacher 💜

I am a yogini and a yoga teacher. Mysore is a main place for Ashtanga practice. I were luckily to find out this school to deepen my Ashtanga practice. Kushalji knows very well of all level student and will give you a suitable instruction to deepen your practice. Nice adjustment, knowledge of anatomy. Nice and clean place, teach you not only asana but also discipline of practice. Recommended for yoga teacher and Ashtangi.

Once I thought ashtanga yoga is less spiritual than hatha yoga but with Kushal I have learnt a lot of ways to go more inside. It was here in Kushals shala I learnt Gayatri mantra. He is so generous. Shared so much wisdom and helped overcome doubts. His classes gave me a profound mix of techniques on how to perform asanas and devotional aspects of yoga. The shala is also located in the old and charming Laxmipuram neighbourhood. I miss my morning practises with Kushal.

Kushal is a great ashtanga yoga teacher. He usually keeps small classes, Mysore style, resulting in a lot of attention and adjustments per practitioner. He is very good at balancing your efforts, pushing you a bit to go further in your practice, but not putting you at risk of injury. He seems to have a good sense of your current limitations. The yoga center is good for all levels, beginners and pros. While we attended his classes, the class consisted mostly of highly experienced practitioners (yoga teachers with 10-15 years of experience), but Kushal also welcomed beginners. As a beginner you build up the sequence asana for asana, and Kushal makes sure you learn them properly before you move on. Highly recommended:)

Kushal is an amazing teacher with lots of knowledge. The space is comfortable and it will definitely be the place to go to if you’re interested about learning the traditional Ashtanga Yoga.

The experience we had in the center was great! The way of transmitting Kushal defined it with a word Passion. It explains in detail the practice without stopping.You learn the why and why of the asanas. And you always get an extra in their Ayurveda philosophy classes 😍What I liked the most is that I hug myself and all the students of the Shala as a family inviting us to live the culture of India from the local experience.I cant wait to practice again in the Shala. Very good location and easy to find google maps in India is the top! Better than in Spain 🤣Namaste full heart
