My friends and I had stayed over at Mr. Mathews high top property for 2 nights. From the point we got there at the location, he and his wife made sure we felt at home! The hospitality they gave us was just amazing. The property is a lil bit near his home, but he made sure that we had our privacy. He was always available on call, and he made sure whatever food and water we ordered from the nearby restaurant would reach our place, which was a steep climb from the road. The food from the nearby Shajis hotel was recommended by him and that was simply delicious. Felt like homely food. The room was amazing too. Everything was clean and perfect! The view from the balcony was simply mesmerizing! I would definitely recommend this place to any one wanting to stay here! Munnar is just 14km away, so you could visit the tourist spots too!

Guys, dont believe in these fake reviews.I visited here after seeing all these reviews. waste of petrol and time.This place is located in a busy market area. All u can see from the balcony are old buildings, rikshaws and local peoples. That is why they didnt upload any photos from Balcony.U r not coming to munnar to see busy streets and hear vehicle horns right..?

Writing the review after 8 days long stay.The things I loved here is,1. It feels like a home more than that the hotel/resort.2. The birds around the home helped me to wake earlier and sleep faster.3. There is a backyard farm with a waterfall. Unfortunately, there was no water during my visit. But, I got a wilderness vibe when I trek around the farm. Make sure to visit the farm in the morning then only you will hear and smell the real sound of nature and air. (Attached photos)4. Misty mountain view from the balcony with the sounds of birds, frogs, etc.5. Price is worth for this view and comfort compared to other high costly resorts.6. I would like to specially mention Mr. Mathew the owner was excellent with his hospitality and daily cares.7. Nearby spots Ripple waterfalls, ponmudi hanging bridge, ponmudi dam, sengulam dam, kallarkutty dam and kalladanthy cave. (Best time to visit on rainy time to see the water flow at river)8. Restaurants, shops, bars/toddy are available on walkable.9. You can trek around the river side road if you have time.10. Parking space, Campfire & barbecueCons:1. This place is a little bit nearby to the road. So, the sound of autos and other vehicles crack your ears at noontime. But so calm at morning and night time2. They dont have a private restaurant. So you need to eat at a nearby restaurant which is locate at the entrance. The taste of the food was good but not that much but okay. You can order and get the delivery at your doorstep also.3. 12km away from the Munnar. But you can cover lot of good places through the way of Munnar - Atukkad waterfalls (must visit place), pothemedu and chithrapuram view point,. If you want to really enjoy the main places of Munnar, better take a room at center of Munnar.4. Rooms are smaller in size. Best time to stay here at rainy season to see the view of water at the dams around here.

My overall stay in the property was good. Staff behavior was good and the hotel amenities were fine. Location of the property was also convenient for me.

I can park my bike right next to my roomroom and bathroom are very clean..this is way too much than what I paid for :)

Very good room and lovely surroundings. They made a special arrangement on request. Though this is almost 35 mins from Munnar center, this place is quite busy and can have all sorts of shops. The ride between Munnar to Hotel is such an awesome one.

This place is away from munnar.. climate is different from Munnar.. stay was good but climate is much hotter than in Munnar.. at peak season with on other possibility to get a room in Munnar can try this.. commute to munnar and site seeing was little far from this place.. we endded up taking more time to reach the munnar site seeing and huge traffic...

Excellent Home stay with a very good view of the landscape just opposite to the home stay.Home stay is very neat and clean, the owner and the incharge are very cooperative.Restaurant is just below the home stay. They serve good veg and non veg food.We had stayed for two days and we had a wonderful time. They have a good ambience with pepper cocoa plantation.Finally in one statement we can say Worth for money

It is located half hour from munnar in a small town called kunchithanny where there are lot of shops available till 11 pm . Veg restaurants are available only in anaichal or Munnar . Very nice place. Proprietor is very good, room are clean and neat taken 7 bedded family room . Perfect for large families, have individual bedded with four attached bathrooms. Beautiful backyard with pepper plants, jackfruit free and some floral plants. Stunning view of hill from the room. Present 10 to 12 km from Munnar town.

Decent place.. person here is very very helpful and supportive.. reachable to many not so well known tourist spots.. chairs , matresses could be of better quality.. value for money ..

Nice place to stay. Very friendly land owner, Mr.Mathew.The rooms are very clean and neat. Behind the hotel got their own farm and a small waterfalls you may visit at anytime without any cost. The only problem is that the climate is not so cool compare with munnar.

Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful.. The food provided by (Apple restaurant) is very tasty and also cheap. Worth for money .. only drawback is apprx 14 kms away from Munnar.. you will have min of 45 mins travel to reach hotel from munnar...

Hotel rooms were really neat and spacious. Perfect space which can accommodate group tours. Food was good. The owner and the employees were welcoming and accomadating.

The M3 home is a nice place, clean and the owners are very kind. The village is about 30 minutes from Munnar (400-500 rupies by riksha). There is 1 authentic restaurant and some coffee places, but no nightlife.

Organic spices avaulable at moderate rate along with free spice garden visit. Off road trekking through country roads along with jeep safari to neighbourhood locations like waterfalls, hanging bridge, dams and view points arranged on reasonable charges.

Stay was good but the only problem was there was no restaurant near by and there was one restaurant which was more South Indian food or we can say local food but for North Indian people food is bit problematic, rooms of the hotel was OK, Location of the hotel was good.
