A trip to Munnar is incomplete without getting to see how tea is made and its gardens. Surianalle tea factory is the main factory around here and you can even witness a guided tour of the factory which starts at the top of the hour and takes around 20mins. An excellent guide supported this visit for us and he explains about the whole CTC process and tea tasting . There is even a tea outlet here if you like to purchase any form of the tea. They are also offering many adventure activities here, it is a great opportunity to challenge our self on Asias longest Zip-line (1800mtrs), it is an experience that I cant forget in my life and it make me to fly again and again on Eagle Flight. I am sure that this place made our holiday really memorable unlike no other and also it is really worth-able for our money.

Decent moderately sized Tea factory which shows you the process of tea making. You can also taste nice tea here. The process of tea making is though very less interesting than expected.

One of the best place which I have visited in India.Our stay at the bungalow was so comfortable with best food prepared in the middle of tea estate.Tourism head Vivek varma was so friendly and also provided us with all the best suggestions in spending the time perfect for every place that we have visited.The sunrise at kolukkumala was the best thing during our trip.The jeep driver Manikarthik Anna was so kind in taking us with the adventurous route to all the places.The one trip which I would love to visit again and again ❤️Planning yo have more similar trips with friends to the same place soon.Worth spending the money to visit such a lovely place.Must Visit ☺️

They are charging ₹100 for a 10 minute walk inside the factory. And not even a sample tea for tasting.

One of the best trip I have ever been with friends. Food was amazing. People around us was so friendly to be with.. Tourist head Vivek Varma took us to extreme level of happiness by taking us to sun rise in a private area.. We had camp fire and barbecue. I really appreciate each and everyone who is taking care of that gundumalai bangalow. Every money we spent for that trip was worth spending for because of that bangalow, food, surroundings, Head Vivek Varma, jeep driver Mani Karthick. Thank you for giving us the wonderful experience Tourist head. 💕😇

Great experience . Surianalle Estate Enroute Kolakumalai view point offers Plantation safari, Tea Factory visit, Zipline, Kayaking etc. Also has Indias longest Zipline. Was a lovely experience. Must visit location when you come to Munnar. Also stay at the traditional Colonial British bungalow amidst the Tea Estate.
