Our stay at Clouds Land was great - the place is excellent value.Rooms are simple but very comfortable, with a nice seating area in front to enjoy the view on the forest (you can even eat your meals there). There are only 4 rooms, making the place feel intimate and ensuring you’re well taken care of.The manager went above and beyond in helping us with every request (info on treks, transport, etc.) and took us on a nice sunrise walk.Food is delicious and very reasonably priced, no need to ever eat elsewhere.Location is in a nice natural setting vs. in town options, yet accessible: 150m walk to bus stop to Munnar (~15min and a few rupees)Look no further!

We were two families with four young kids. We enjoyed our stay a lot especially its location away from the hustle bustle of main road and its good proximity to tea gardens. Our host, Abin, made our stay very comfortable with timely breakfast every day for three days of our stay. 5 star for good service. Recommend this place if you are looking for a peaceful stay at Munnar.

Most beautiful and calmest place Ive been too. Most friendly hosts and good foodis available. A child friendly place too. The view from upstairs is spectacular. And you can feel the wildlife around. may be on the roof top . If you are lucky you might be able to spot civets , wild boars, or even deers within the compound. The plethora of colours in the flora makes the place look ethereal.

It was the good behavior of all the staff. And especially the clean room and the surroundings, thats what I liked a lot. The thought of a trip, resort, etc. from a lot of rush, is the need for calm. Thats what I got from Cloudsland!Trees all around, the sound of birds chirping!🥰🥰 Good team👏

Halfway through our trip, this was the perfect place to take it a bit more slow, relax and recharge. Binoop was a great host, he had some great suggestions for what to do and see around the area. Excellent cook, also.

Lovely place with great views. Run by a family of brothers and cousins who put so much effort into making sure everyone is enjoying their experience. They give you their undivided attention and make delicious food while chatting to you in the evening.

Stayed here for 4 nights in early July and loved every minute. The place is a little off the main road which was perfect as we wanted something surrounded by nature and tea plantations. Lots of day trips can be organized for a reasonable fee. Also loved hiking within the plantations for some amazing views. Manoo and Binu were amazing hosts who took care of our every need. They are also fantastic cooks and breakfast and dinners were a special treat. The rooms were clean and well appointed. Id definitely stay here again.

Excellent stay. Excellent host. It is on the mountain. The place is very beautiful and simple. Only four rooms. Rooms are spacious. You need to climb up the stairs to reach the room. Just sitting infront of the room is what we go to Munnar for.Abin the host/manager is very good. We had kids and requested him some stuff which he went out of the way to get for us. We were there in December end. Thanks Mr Abin.

Great place! Wonderful location. The view is amazing. Its such a quite place. We had a relaxing time there. Binnu, the owner is very helpful and kind. He is also a great cook. We had delicious breakfasts and dinners there. I recommend it. :)

Had a great experience staying with them. The rooms are huge and the location is perfect if you have your own vehicle to move around. The approach road to the property is very treacherous, esp if driving at night. The food was amazing too.

This place is amazing to stay in, amazing view and slightly outside of the city making it peaceful and quite. Come here if you want to enjoy nature and enjoy solitude.Binu, our host is amazing. Hes helpful and will make an actual effort to make your stay delightful.

The place is nice and clean. Caretaker Raja is a very nice and humble guy. My family loved his service and him as a person. Reaching there can be little difficult as one needs to drive through the plantation. The width is just enough for my nexon to go.Found the cost on the higher side compared to service offered.

Inside the jungle and beside the tea garden the home stay is so lovely that we loved it at first sight. The balcony is large and do comfortable that you feel like spring there whole day just relaxing doing nothing at all. The owner is a simple good hearted being... Loved his demeanor...very polite... Helping.

The heaven of munar. Good food and friendly staff.

Resort is located in the middle of tea plantations. No traffic noise. Ebin and jishnu made sure our stay was comfortable. Sreejit the chef prepared delicious food. Rooms are cosy and comfortable. They have high speed wifi connection. We found bit difficulty in locating resort initially in Google maps. Overall stay was great.

Run by a family, clouds farm is a peaceful stay in munnar. The view isnt great since the trees block it but you get a forest-y feel, surrounded by trees & animals. Theres a tea plantation you can walk around in. The only good part about staying here are the hosts, they are very welcoming and helpful with whatever you might need. Food is good if not great!! Giving 4 stars just for the brothers who take care of this place!!

Up in the mountains right next to a tea plantation, this place is what you call in the middle of nature. Surrounded by tall trees, its free all over. Wonderful breeze and stunning view adds wonders to your stay. The hosts, Manu and Binu are so welcoming that you dont feel that you are new to this place. Home cooked, delicious food and the warmth these people offer makes the stay a bliss. This is the place to come to when you want to be one with nature. Stunning.

Had a wonderful visit at Clouds Land in the Munnar Mountains. The rooms are comfortable and have amazing views. There is a lovely hike you can do right in the mountain near the homestay (no need for a car). The best part of staying at Clouds Land was the staff - they make you feel at home and the meals they cook are delicious!

One of the best home stays in Munnar. Great place to stay with family as well as with friends. Host, Mr.Binoop was of real help. The stay also arranged Treks to Munnar ( places you may miss if you are out there on your on) The once in a while breath taking view of valleys of Neelakurunji is priceless. Time spent here is precious

Location: Clouds Land is a bed and breakfast property located under 5 minutes walking distance from Chithirapuram View point on the Munnar bypass road.Property: The brothers Manu and Binu run it. Suresh is helping hand on hire. It is popular among western travellers. They have 4 rooms which serve as accommodation. Two on one floor and other two one a level above. The rooms on the higher floor are much better in terms of size, upkeep and feel. From Chithirapuram to the property one has to drive on a unpaved narrow road which is a bit tricky to navigate. The place is located away from the hustle of Munnar Town.Amenities: They provide tooth brush, tooth paste, towels, toilet paper as part of the stay. The property is decently maintained and is clean but the linen could be more fresh and cupboards more dust free. Wifi is available.Food: Food is good, tasty and nutritious. Breakfast is included in the room price. Meals are very reasonably priced, 4 cost two of us ₹1250. Nice place to wind down for 2-3 days.USP: Economic home stay with great food and warm hosts.

Me and my partner had a wonderful time staying at Lixons Summer Dew homestay, which is part of and just across the road from the very special Clouds Land homestay that is run by the ever-accommodating dream team: Binu, Manu and Lixon.We booked Summer Dew through AirBnb with very short notice but Lixon was very communicative throughout and managed to sort us out with transport from Fort Kochi to Munnar with a driver they use, which was fantastic.Our two night stay was glorious and made extra special by the thoughtful touches the brothers put into our stay. The room came with complimentary bottled water, towels and soaps. We had THE most delicious home-cooked, traditional food for breakfast and dinner (accompanied by a welcomed special tea a.k.a. beer in the evenings) as cooked by the brothers themselves.They even organised for us to go on an early morning trek up the mountain with VJ, the only trekking guide in Munnar that takes you up the challenging 900m to the peak. We cant recommend the trek enough!After the trek, we went straight back out on an adventurous jeep safari, stopping off at off-road mountain views and waterfalls on our way to Anakulam where we saw wild elephants before driving back in time for a late, home-cooked dinner.Just a couple of personal suggestions that would have made the stay even more great than it already was for us:- Lixon, Binu and Manu were so incredible in looking after us but their care was overwhelming at times for people like us that are uncomfortable with someone waiting on you at all times. It would have been even nicer if they were able to relax and leave us to it, trusting that we would find them if we needed anything.- The activities and driver were contracted out to third party organisations which incurred varying costs. For budget travellers like us, it would have been good to get a clear understanding of what was on offer and the specific cost involved. For example, we thought we were going on a drive straight to Anakulam and back but we ended up stopping off at places on the way and being charged for a night safari jeep tour. Also, we had some issues with tallying up final costs with the driver after they rescued us by driving us straight to Munroe Island instead of back to Cochin when there was a vehicle strike on.However, I have to emphasise that the above two points were completely personal to what we like as a couple and, even taking those on board, the stay itself was absolutely incredible and I cannot recommend Summer Dew/Clouds Land enough!

If serenity, calm and a relaxed holiday with simple, but fantastic home cooked food is what you crave, then look no further, because Clouds Land is the place to stay at. It is about 9 kms away from the bustling main town of Munnar which is a boon cause it is away from all the chaos and tourist traffic there. The place is nestled inside a tea plantation, and surrounded by lush greenery, which at night is home to a 1000 fireflies that put on an amazing show. On a misty day, the place is shrouded in clouds which makes it feel so surreal. The accommodation itself is spacious, and kept very clean. The host Manu is very warm and goes out of his way to take care of his guests. The food that is personally cooked by him is lip smackingly good. During our 5 day stay, we didnt even feel the need to go anywhere else, as we had everything we needed right there, from great food, lush tea plantations and a beautiful place to simply relax and rejuvenate in. I would recommend requesting the rooms on the upper floor for a better view. Munnar does not really have too many things to do except for the beautiful views of the tea plantations, so choosing the right kind of place to stay is crucial, and we do not regret having chosen Clouds Land. I plan to certainly come back here because I loved it so much. Thank you very much Manu!
