Good place by the lake. The lighting in evening is nice for photography. No wonder all graduating batches come here for pics.

Good guest house with all necessary facilities. Best for visitors who have 1-2 day work at IITB. Decent breakfast was served complimentary. Gulmohar restaurant near had quite good food quality and taste.

This is a pleasant guest house in Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. It has an incredible location since it is not only right next to the Powai lake and has direct, unimpeded view and access of the lake; it also has its own small lake, with a group of white ducks. It has good and well maintained rooms, and catering service. While the garden right next to the guesthouse is just awesome. The Guest House is in huge demand though and there is usually an impossibly large waiting to avail its services.

Undoubtedly the best dining place inside IIT Bombay campus. The food is simple but delicious. The view is breathtaking.

The oldest one among the three guest houses of Indian institute of technology Bombay. The rooms are pretty average and I would say do go for the newer ones as they offer superior quality and service. The only good thing about this is the Powai lake view and the iconic fountain in front of it. 3/5 would recommend

Good views. No room service, not even water! Moderately unfriendly morning staff (perhaps untrained young trainees), the politeness level is quite different from what I am used to, its a bit edgy here, I feel. The food in Padmavihar is excellent and the smiling steward makes all the difference (may be he should be in charge of training these young girls on duty in the morning shift!). Being next to the water front (Powai Lake), there is a nice constant breeze at Jalvihar.

Situated in one of the best locations of the campus. One can enjoy his/her stay with a mesmerizing view of powai lake and a calm cool breeze or enjoy the ducks and birds sailing on the guest house pond. If you are lucky you can spot the turtles too.

Its a wonderful guest house with class amneties. Staff is very much helpful and cooperative.

We had decent dinner there at padma vihar guest house. The ambience was cool and pretty good according to indian standard.The meal system was soup main courses with veg and non veg items and dessert.The foods were not very oily and not too spicy and I liked the fish Koliwada that day.

Did not get booking after i was made to do all request ,approval work . system is appreciable. one will be asked cordially to do all online offline work only to be refused at then end of the long effortful day. they may ask you to come and check again to sweetly refuse you again.

Nice garden with a wonderful view of powai lake. It is a great place to go and chill and watch the sun go down the horizon it also has animals such as geese and rabbits which they let during a certain time of the day.

If you ever get lucky to visit a professor / faculty here inside IIT, do take a walk to the Powai lake from inside the campus. . Its amazing to witness the sunset from this place. .

Guest house of iit Bombay, Lake side views are awesome

2000/head room looks cool, they are 2 single corts, with a automatic coffee☕ machine, with controlled room temperature, the room looks pretty because the room consists of lamp lights which makes the room looks cool.

If u get lake side view thn its good place to stay. However food over thr remind me of mess food and staff is also not that professional.

It is a good place to hangout with friends or just a small walk in the evening, with cool breeze and amazing view of the Powai lake with lights by the road, a good spot for photography enthusiasts. It also has good rooms for the guests.

Really a nice guest House to be in with a spectacular lake side view but the issue is only with the night crawlers like mosquitoes etc.

Waiting time to book this guest house is very long , you have to book it months before your stay and you should be the guest of student who is studying in IIT. This is not a hotel or homestay.
