Originally built as the Cathedral High School, this prominent corner building is located at the junction of commercial Hornby Road [Now Dadabhai Naoroji Road] & Esplanade Road & faces Flora Fountain.The building was acquired by the Oriental Life Insurance Company and remodelled in 1898.The Oriental Life Insurance Company was established in Calcutta in 1818 by Bipin Behari Dasgupta and others; it was the first corporate entity in India offering life insurance coverage and Europeans in India were its primary target market.It is a Grade IIA Heritage structure.

Oriental building at Mumbai is a historical building. It is also a heritage building. It was originally built as Cathedral High School but later it was converted to the Mumbai head of Oriental Life Insurance Company. It is located on a triangular site between Dadabhai Naoroji Road & Mahatma Gandhi Road. It is near to Flora Fountain & Churchgate railway station is near to it. It is well connected through road and it is also accessible through railway service.

This the historical building. N the creativity of the building is awesome. Engineering done a great job over here. Near by there is high court of Mumbai & banks. This area comes under colaba.

It is office building mostly occupied by lic of India situated in fort area, Mumbai.

It is near Fountain area of Mumbau. It has LIC Office on second floor.

I worked there for 4 years. This is heritage building and should be visited for the views from the corner offices. The building commands a view of the entire Flora Fountain area.
