Not so great... Average taste and quantity.. Over rated

As per name this restaurant has varieties in South Indian food, I ordered Vada sambhar and Idli sambhar from which vada sambhar tasted okay and idli tasted bit sour... even the sambhar was average it didnt had any vegetables in it... the only thing I liked here was hygiene and packaging, coz they dont pack vada and idli in newspaper... though they charge you extra Rs 5 for food packing.. I have special love for south indian food... but ordering from this restaurant disappointed me...

Nice caffe shop having delicious south Indian food like idli,vada sambhar.Special of this cafee is filter coffee.It is near MULUND bus depot.

The place is hygienic. Food is not that great, we ordered onion rava masala dosa and medu vada. Seating arrangements are sparse.

Good authentic South indian food. Chat corner is great as well... Try Maysore masala dosa, masala dosa etc .. avoid starters not so great... Dahi papdi chaat is really good should try that!

Reached Mulund for a wedding shoot on a Sunday night and was hunting for a place to eat. The typical hotels were overfilled with waiting customers. Thankfully I saw Swamy! Its a more of a open place rather than a typical hote. They serve south indian, sandwiches, chaat & thali as well. I ordered idli vada, grill sandwich & filter coffee. The taste was amazing! Filter coffee is a winner! Grill sandwich was also extremely tasty. Quantity is wonderful as well. Its a decently priced place. Clean & Hygienic. If I had to nick-pick it would be the servicing time which can be reduced if they work on it (which could be due to covid, less staff availability or just rare occasion). Apart from that its just an amazing place to go to. Thanks to them my late night meal was just about right for a full day of wedding shoot the next day! Cheers guys look forward to visiting this place.

The cost has been updated. Dosa with Sambar is not that tasty , I would recommend to take it with chutney even that was chill.But a good place to eat

Clean and hygienic fast food centre. But taste was not good. We had masala dosa and Mysore masala dosa which were very plain.

Food was good, except Sambar taste which I did not like. It was my first visit.I ordered Masala Dosa costing₹55. Then when staff started cooking, they started asking if I want in Butter or Ghee. I told no Butter make in Ghee. To my shock I was charged ₹40 extra for a butter which was not informed earlier. I thought Butter would cost extra and ghee would be a standard option.So beware...even after clear order of Masala Dosa I was misguided with extra options without informing that it will cost me extra almost equal to the main cost of dish !!!

One of the Worst Restaurants, they make you purchase the token & then dont deliver the food immediately & then dispute the token.The owner seat on the counter is the most inert person & his writ doesnt run on his staff.Please dont visit this restaurant, you will repent.

Its a good option for having some quick South Indian Recipe bites. They have a variety of options and one of my favourite is the Mysore Masala Dosa and the Filter Coffee.Should really visit this outlet for some light but filling food.

It is one of the best place I have come across which is an hidden gem.The staff is also very cooperative and the service is so faster.We tried Combo meal and lassi which is worth trying.

Had idli sambhar just to taste the authenticity.The Sambar was good and authentic South Indian one and not sweet. One that you get in TN. Very different from Shetty hotels which is almost Gujarati sweet daal.However, chatni could have been better. They should also serve other chutneys like Ginger chutney, peanut chutney etc for variety.

Is best place for South Indians

I had ordered parcel medu wada and idlis . I was asked to wait ,the counter guy told me fresh wadas would be made. Instead the batter was stale and coconut chutney was given in bulk .The chutney was cold and stale . Disappointed with the service will not recommend . South Indian food is supposed to be fresh instead stale food is being sold .

They did not pack the coconut chutney with take away Dosas. I picked up 3 masala dosa today , to utter shock chutney which is the main ingredient is missing . Kids are disappointed. This could be mistake which cannot be corrected leaving dissatisfied customers . More efficient staff is the solution .

We took pick up service directly from the restaurant today...sadly they serve you stale coconut chutney which is gone bad completely and medu vada which was so khatta which also was stale and jst heated and given to us...dont sell old stuff too customers..at least live up to the South Indian name..

Oustanding mysore masala dosas and medu wadas. Earlier I used to go all the way to Ramashray, Matunga but happy that I can get the same taste here in Mulund itself. Amazing place and very nice staff. Five out of Five stars. Way to go Swamy 👌👍
