Its open since last December but looks like it was opened in 1990s... The place needs serious maintenance and the upholstery needs a change. Improvement in the decor and appearance is must for any swanky crowd from Juhu and surrounding areas to be regulars. The food, pure vegetarian, was strictly ok, nothing exceptional but reasonably priced. Drinks also priced reasonably. Would definitely think before visiting again.

The ambience was little to weird as the place was really huge it looked like some amphitheatre but the food was really really great. Loved it . The place is huge but starta filling uo quickly. The staff was too lazy and didnt follow the instructions quickly or missed some notes.

Rustico, a famous restaurant from south bombay has now made its way to Juhu and i couldnt be more excited to try it out. An extremely large space suitable for huge groups where the walls are painted with famous Bollywood dialogues. A restaurant which is a bit too dark for a casual dining but pretty much impresses with its fusion food and refreshing drinks. The staff is courteous and quick on their feet.Rustico offers a huge menu with multiple cuisines with some classics and lots of fusion food from Indian and Western origin. We started off with Maggi Spring Rolls recommended by the staff which was deep fried in nature and very average in taste. Paneer bruschetta was too filling to be called a starter and yet again average in taste. For experimental food lovers, you can try out Pav bhaji fondue or Dabeli fondue which tastes decent but a dash of lime and chopped onions over Pav bhaji fondue was missing which could complete the dish. The winner among all these was Kung Pao Potatoes, freshly made with lip-smacking taste and generous quantity.Onto the mains, we ordered spaghetti in pesto tossed with veggies which looked good but was extra oily.We paired our food with refreshing cocktails consisting of fresh pineapple, oranges, lime, ginger and all good things.Oberally, a decent dine in for family get-together and corporate gathering under a decent budget that serves food with good quantity and music.

This gastro pub in juhu is spacious to a great extent. It has a pub as well as a place for fine dine. All kinds of crowd be it young or middle aged would enjoy this place ! They have musical live nights and some attractive hukka, cocktails and food ! A nice ambience to visit. The unplugged music with some great crowd makes this place an awesome one. This place had the most interesting Indian flavored dishes I have ever tasted. And interesting in a good way at that. I especially liked the pav bhaji fondue, but most things we ordered were unexpectedly tastier than original versions of the same recipes. For eg, the paneer bruschetta vs a regular cheese bruschetta. Or for that matter the vegan peas soup vs cream of peas. Even the pav bhaji fondue was very tasty, except that the bread was plain - which imo is an easy fix. They should also offer a tasting menu as their selection and portion sizes are quite large. Highly recommended!

A newly opened up place in Juhu, 1701 Gastropub screams of London.Trust me when I say, the place is HUGE.. It holds a capacity of 2500 people so know what HUGEEE means.They have a two floored seating wherein the lower floor is used for food and drinks and the upper floor is used for sheesha, as well as food and drinks.The sheesha is priced at 500 if you go before 7pm but after that the price surges to 1200 per sheesha. The quality of sheesha is really good so it makes it worthwhile. The service provided by the coal boys is also good.Coming to what I ate..Cheesling Bhel :A twisted version of the puffed rice bhel or kurmura that we usually eat, this bhel is made with the cheeslings. Cheeslings is everyones favorite, and to have it in the bhel is something amazing. Rest all flavors are same as the original bhel that is why I liked it. Order a beer and this bhel and you are set😀Mexican Fries :Mexican fries have a different version at different restaurants. The Mexican Fries here have refried beans, melted cheese and salsa on top. Garnished with spring onion greens, this makes it the best fries i have had. The fries stayed crispy for a long time.Tandoori Bharwa Batata :Tandoori Aloo is my favorite. Specially the one with stuffing. This tandoori aloo has a mixture of dryfruits along with mash potatoes for the stuffing. The mixture of sweet and spicy plays along really well. A must try.Chilli Cheese Rusk :In another words, chilli cheese garlic bread. The amount of cheese was far more than i habe had at other places. For all those cheese lovers this is a must order dish.Cheesy Maggi Springrolls :Spring rolls are like a must have during the winters and the monsoon. The spring rolls here are made with maggi noodles and also have added cheese in it. I personally did not like the idea of spring rolls with cheese as Chinese cuisine doesnt have cheese in it. It tasted pretty average. But you can try if you are a cheese lover.Red Paprika Paneer :One of the best crispy paneer I have had. This had paneer pieces coated in flour and then deep fried and then tossed in sauces along with red paprika. The crispiness was intact the whole time. I am not a fan of paneer crispy usually, but after eating this, i have started craving for it.* HIGHLY RECOMMENDED*Thai Curry Risotto :Thai curry being one of my favorites and Risotto being my other favorite, I had to try the combination of the two.I absolutely loved it. The thai curry had exotic veggies like broccoli, zucchini, bell peppers in it. The quantity is good for 2 people. A must try if you are a thai food fan.I had a really fun time here with my friends and looking forward to coming here again. Awesome place for dining. Can get family too for dinner and one of the few places which serves only vegetarian food. They have a separate place for clubbing on the top floor and the dinning section is one level below. Further they have big tables for groups and they are accommodated in banquet section. The biggest bar in Juhu or may be in the entire Mumbai. We hosted a private party and we loved every moment of it. The owners are very helpful. The place is divided into 3 parts - fine dine, lounge and club. It also screens matches on many wide screens. The server pure veg food and it tastes heaven.

First of all the name is happening for this place. So probably new name is Rustico.The seating capacity is huge. As I went there we didnt get the sitting which we wanted. Dance floor was not available. We had to sit in the dinning area. No one was there to take our order. We had to call them thrice just to take our order. The food also was not up to our expectation. Half of the things we ordered was not obtainable. Music was also not that good. My mood was blemish.

We were promised imported liquor,half of which wasnt there & whatever was available got over at 1130pm on a new years eve..!!Beers were bieng served warm & Food was Cold.The management was least bothered that the guests were suffering.A Complete disaster & waste of 6000rs..!!A Club should be most corncerned about their reputation n goodwill & not cheap profits by cheating its guests.This speaks volumes about the owner & management.Shame..Shame.. 1701 Gastropub.Starting with the USP of this place. It is Worlds largest Vegetarian restaurant. Yes thats true !So I went here last night with a couple of blogger friends. So basically a Punjabi girl having ONLY Veg food is a rare sight to see but yes that was true. I wanted to explore the Worlds biggest Veg hotel to see what it has to offer me.So the place is definitely massive. Its huge. There are various seating sections like indoor and outdoor ones.We were seated indoor. Theres an old style disco ball with rotational lights. Very peppy bollywood numbers playing. There was also a live singer yesterday but he ideally should be given a mic and some partners to play drums to add liveness to his music.It is said to be citys most dazzling gastrobar. You can visit to entice and relax and unwind after a long day for some sheesha and drinks with your friends and have a quintessential night out.There are servers almost around every table. Food service was pretty quick.It is located in Juhu a little ahead of Juhu Police station.So there were nearly 8 of us trying out different dishes and drinks.What I Drank?CHOCOLATE MILKSHAKELacked taste of chocolate. Was not really sweet. However the presentation deserves full points. And more because they served a cornetto waffle cone and some butterscotch ice cream along.KIWI MILKSHAKEThe colour of this shake felt way too artificial. Neon greenish which was not appealing to my eyes. Couldnt dare to have a sip more of it.What I Ate?PANI PURI SHOTSThe presentation of this is amazing. Somewhat 8 puris with 3 different chutneys in shot glasses of 2 each. This is a must try.MASALA KHAARINever had a khaari as nice as this. Chai with khaari is common. But having khaari as an appetiser is something good. So this had veggies and melted cheese which tasted delicious. Making the ordinary into extraordinary.CHEESY NAANCheese is always welcome. And bigger the quantity, warmer is the welcome. So we ordered for Naanlettes which is basically 3 different types of Naans. Couldnt decide which was the best so I vote for all 3. Highly recommended dish.PANEER SICILIANA BRUCHETTAThis didnt impress me as much as the other starters did. Can be skipped.OVER LOADED NACHOSThey turned soggy a little too fast. Couldnt enjoy them much. They were actually very over loaded I can say.GILAFI SEEKH KEBABThis was again good. On the sweet side. So gilafi kebabs are something I always had non vegetarian. This is the first time I tried Veg Gilafi and liked it.DESI CHINESE FRIED RICEThis was not really upto my expectation. The rice tasted much like a very local restaurant and not the name that 1701 holds. Need massive improvement here.One more thing that disappointed me ( BIGTIME) was that there were no desserts available that night.In short, its a good place to chill with friends sometimes for sheesha and starters.

We went there on on Sunday night...since no tables were available..we were made to share a huge table with 4 other small groups.. Other than that food and sheesha was great!! Cherry on the cake was live singing band of old college songs reminded me of my college days! Brocolli tandoor is a must try starter !

Low rating is mainly due to the Manager - Sandy approach of arrogance, rude and unprofessional behavior. We visited the place after reading so much positive reviews and more importantly being a Pure Vegetarian Fine Dine place. It also coincided with an unplugged event at the place. We thought it would be good experience to couple dinner with an event.However, Sandy said that the event had cover charges of Rs 1000 per person. We requested that anyways we have come for dinner and in case he could just accommodate for the event - he rudely answered that they are paying huge sum to the singer and explaining about the business cost associated - which was not at all warranted. I think Management needs to teach his staff that all this a part of business dynamics and one of the way to attract footfalls. Anyways despite the event, the entire dining area, which is quite huge was completely empty. If any customer is going to be greeted this way - I think the Management being running the business would be aware about the repercussions especially in such highly competitive hospitality industry wherein we find virtually new joint opening every week. For the behavior I would give ZERO star rating.Now coming to the food - which was the real reason to visit the place - I would like to give full marks - entire Menu is well crafted and the major plus is that Jain option is available for virtually entire Menu. We tried Mexican Chilli Bean & Tortilla and Kung Fu Panda Soup, Vilayati Samosa, Veg Dum Handi and Rotis - all were quite delicious and had some difference if compared with any other restaurants. Ambience and Food was completely upto mark and even the serving staff was quite warm and helpful.Excluding the Sandy behavior - overall good experience and interesting place.

This place is located at a prime location next to Kala Niketan and is very easy to spot coz of the huge font.Once you get in, you will be bowled over by how cast it is and all vegetarians will be super happy as it is Asias largest pure veg gastropub!It has 3 sections:1. Outdoors2. Indoors3. A floor above which has karaoke and sheesha➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖FOOD -1) CHANA JOR GARAM : This chat was mouth watering and tangy and had the right mix of flavours. But have it quickly, else it will become soggy. 👍2) ROOMALI CHEESE PAPAD : This has khakhra like consistency and is in the shape of a bowl topped with tomatoes and cheese and red chilli powder. Tasted decent. 👍3) DESI DAL VADA FALAFEL PLATTER : This was so huge, was getting to difficult to capture in a single camera shot. It had falafels, 3 types of hummus and pita bread. Tasted very nice! 👌💕4) PANI PURI SHOTS : This has 2 variants, normal shots and those same shots mixed with vodka. You can choose which to order. I prefer the normal one as it has a burst of flavours. The vodka one tastes bitter which does not go down well with the Puris. The presentation is spot on! 👌💕5) NAANLETTS BASKET : This has various flavours of Naans served with green chutney. It has butter garlic naan, cheese stuffed masala naan. Loved it! 👌💕6) TANDOORI BATATA BHARWA : This was the star! My most favourite amongst the lot.. it has tandoori aloo stuffed with rich filling of dry fruits but not making is sweet and tasted amazing! 👌💕7) GOD FATHER BURGER : This is a larger than life size of burger and it is impossible to have the complete thing in one go. Difficult to pick it up as well. You need to get this cut into several pieces to be able to have it. Also, the patty is good, but the bread is too thick. The patty has Mexican flavours. The fries served along with it were fresh and crispy! 👌8) TEX MEX SIZZLER : This was a total Mexican flavour sizzler with the patty made of beans and potatoes and was a tad bit bland for my liking the rice and the stir fried veggies were really tasty. On the whole, it was okayish.9) AFGHANI PANEER : This was fabulous! Tasted so rich, creamy and flavorful. The paneer was super fresh and was melting in the mouth. Must must order. 👌💕10) VEG DUM HANDI : This had a lot of veggies and tasted nice. It wasnt spicy though. It had french beans, peas, cauliflower predominantly.11) MAGGI NOODLES SPRING ROLL : Served in a similar fashion like Pani Puri Shots. This had Maggi stuffed inside the rolls which were deep fried. Tasted very nice! 👌12) BROWNIE WHITE CHOCOLATE DOME : This is sizzling Brownie with vanilla ice cream. The brownie was big, soft and fresh. This was super duper amazinggg and tasty! My all time favourite! 👌💕13) WHISKEY SOUR : This was served without egg being a pure veg restaurant and had red chilli punch in it. You will feel that spicy hit after taking the sip. It is very strong as well. Loved it! 👌💕14) LOVE TO ME : This is a white rum based drink and was served with enormous amount of crushed ice. Tasted nice! 👌15) LITCHI based MOCKTAIL : Forgot the name, but this tasted so good! It had 2 big litchis and tasted really nice! Drank this more than water! 👌➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖Overall, a great experience! The staff is very friendly and hospitable and will be at your service immediately. Very attentive.Will definitely recommend this place. Do visit and experience the joy of tasty and delicious veg food with refreshing drinks! 😇

The place is quite huge. But doesnt hav a feel of a disco. Its a kind of fine dine lounge with hookah n drinks on offer. I call it a bits n pieces place. The musik is dilute bcos of a huge property n Interiors average. The flooring is blak n white granite of 80s. More so cudnt giv more then a 2 star
