The taste has hardly changed in all those years...also the tea is one of the best...mind it whenever you are having appam do take the chutney again and request him to pour a little more of it as they wont give you chutney upfrontly.

Very old and very popular eatery dishing out dishes of Kerala. The fluffy Appam is the most favourite snacks of not only the Malayali customers, but also more of the non Keralites. Appam and vegetable stew is the right combination, but unfortunately it is not available at this eatery. You have egg curry and chickpeas masala to go with Appam. There are other Kerala snacks like banana fritters, Ada, and Sukhian. However, Sukhians recipe is not that of Kerala. Instead of the boiled greengrams and jaggery filling, more of chickpeas and less of green grams are used . Non-vegetarian dishes like fish, mutton and chicken curries in Kerala recipes are also available. The tariffs are quite reasonable. Being the only Kerala restaurant in the vicinity, it is always crowded, and so, at times service is slow. That is bearable. Visiting the restaurant is a pleasant experience, worth repeating.
