CLASSIC RESTUARANT. Lebanese food here is heaven. We tried the assorted hummus platter with breads, chicken shawarma & kebab istanbulli. HUMMUS is probably 100/10. Breads sure 100/10. Because its just so perfect. You wont get enough of the hummus. Shawarma was good too, I just thought a lil spice couldve worked. The mutton kebab was melt in your mouth kind of delicious & very heavy on stomach. Hummus & breads are a extremely good. But, the stealer here is the VIEW. If not for anything, GO FOR THE VIEW. GET THE EXPERIENCE. VIEW IS BREATH TAKING. Loved the experience here while lunching with a gorgeous view!

The view is fantastic but the service is to ooooo slow. Took 1 hour to bring up my ice cream. Recommend other restaurants in taj but not this one.

SOUK, Very very scenic view, a panoromic view of Gateway of India. Luxurious seating, and a service excellency of a Taj brand. A very Romantic restaurant espacially at evening and dinner time. One thing is more spacial that Feels warm hospitality and kind words on your table when Ms. Priyanka Nikalje is there to take care of you.

Very good views and decent Mediterranean cuisine

The food is just on point. Flavours and flavours of beautifully marinated and grilled food. The baklava also in a fusion with other ingredients ..just brilliant. If you are a mushroom fab do try the mushroom baklava.Other than trying their regular Lebanese kebabs,kibbehs and hummus.

Good food. Hummus here was better than Bayroute, everything else was better and cheaper at BAYROUTE.

Went there for a dinner date. The restaurant was short staffed so it took us a while to place the order and get served. Food was below average. We had Sheesh Taouk and Maqlooba. Nothing impressive about the presentation or taste. They skim on quantities as if theyre trying to save up for some kind of apocalypse. There isnt any difference between having such items at just about any other regular restaurant. Ambience was dim lit and nice but boy were those chairs uncomfortable! We requested to change the seats and be moved to a sofa but to no avail. The only redeeming dish/dessert was the Knafeh which was not listed on the menu but the chef whipped it up the last minute. It was pretty damn good. Pricing - not so bad either. Overall experience - meh... Not recommended 👎

I’m visiting from Canada, and I have always wanted to see famous the Taj Hotel. 😊👍🏻 I went to Souk restaurant 👌👏 and met the most respectful staff, they were very accommodating and helpful. This was one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. The staff were the kindest I’ve ever met: Vishal, Sayali, Anant, and Anthony.🙏👍

An excellent restaurant with fine views of the Mumbai skyline at night. The food was very good & flavoursome. Our party of five either had a tagine of either lamb or prawn of lamb kebab & there was not a morsel left. the wine was very good & well priced. The staff were excellent as well. Recommended.

It was an amazing experience with really good food, ambiance and a view thats nothing like anything else... the sweets, food and so much more important, kava!!! Just wow...It is Taj Mahal Palace after all... short of nothing... price, I wont even mention since you already know its going to be expensive although, you do get exactly what you pay for... portion sizes were massive...A must try atleast for the views...

I was meeting my girl friends after many years and so we decided to really do a fine dining all out experience. Their menu is pretty good and the food served to us had been delicious. All my friends have major craving for sweets, so we ordered Baklava and loved the taste of it.Though, if you are visiting this place for the view, then I recommend to go during the evening hours else at night, you don’t see much of the outside view.Do try their gin & whiskey cocktail with fennel seeds.

Fantastic food and awesome decor... We had the private dining room to ourself and the service was fantastic... The staff was efficient and they never interrupted our team discussion while ensuring no one has an empty plate.

Souk is Taj Mahal Palaces Mediterranean restaurant. The location of the restaurant is impeccable, as its on the top of the Taj Mahal Hotel and overlooks the Arabian Sea. So 5 star in ambience and being a Taj restaurant the service is always superlative. A table for 4 was put together for us in a minutes notice. The food was also extremely good, we went for the Starter buffet and finished off with some deserts. Most elements on the starter were good but the grilled prawns and hummus were excellent. The deserts were ok with the Kunafi being the standout.

Just an average place. Dont know what the fuss is about.

This place serves delicious food with good ambience. With such effects with the food, the price is a bit high. Went with my boss so didnt have to worry about hole in the pocket. Try the chocolate cigar and rose petal ice cream. The kebabs are delicious- both veg and non veg. It serves Mediterranean food. Less spices, juicy kebabs. The chicken dishes are also yummmmmm.... Do go with your loved ones at least ones. Good food comes with a good price.The view of the Game of India is wooooow. I have attached the pictures below. Since we had visited in the evening, couldnt take pics of the Arabian sea.

Really enjoyed our night here. Good food, great service. A bit pricey. We had a selection of dishes to share and especially enjoyed the Lebanese pizza, hummus, breads, falafal etc. The view was obstructed by a railing outside the window so we had to stand to see the lights and view outside.

Love this place not only because of its amazing environment but also for the delicious food they serve.The award winning chefs gave a home-made feeling using the best quality ingredients. The restaurant also offers various types of drinks, they serve one of the best wines in the region. Best food....best people to serve.

Great food and great service. The only problem is if you are on a motorcycle, then you are in trouble. They won’t let motorcycles inside and ask you to park outside, which is really hard. Also the security people at the gate where pretty rude.But the restaurant is awesome.

Simply wow. Great middle eastern / Lebanese / Mediterranean cuisine. Do try their desserts. Sunday buffets are good. The view is the best in the day time, so weekend brunch plans would be ideal.

Souk is this lovely place on the rooftop of Taj Mahal Palace Hotel Mumbai. Serves middle eastern cuisine. We had the buffet which had a good number of starters. Very authentic flavours, light and delicious. Cant choose any one as a favorite!An awesome view of the sea and very serene ambience. The staff is every hospitable and experienced as many have been around since more than a decade.Definitely recommend !

An upscale restaurant in town! But unfortunately its nt worth the money! Our bill came up to 50k but we didnt really have full tummies when we came out! Views are breathtaking! We got to sit at one of their best tables! Service is excellent the way its expected in a five star!

Perfect place to enjoy Lebanese food..the Falafel was very flavourful and hummus was yummm..shawarma is a must try. Only thing made me disappointed was there were no desserts served when I went for lunch there.

Excellent ambience at souk. Best place to sample variety of Mediterranean starters and dishes. Rose petal and orange pistachio icecream is best in the world. Amazing view of gateway of India is complementary.

I would specially like to thank Ms. Fauscina, from the Souk restaurant. I have planned a lunch date for my brother and his to be wife with few idea in my mind to make it special. Ms. Fauscina in all the aspects helped me out so well with all the courtesy planning arrangements, rates , menu .. and all my expectations were fullfilled by her. She made sure, whatever I imagined about the lunch for them was achieved.Kudos to Fauscina and the whole Souk team..The Taj Mahal Palace and their employees always make sure that the standards are maintained.Trust me its value for money.

One of the best Lebanese places Mumbai could ever have.If you’re a lebanese junkie, this place is your hub. Although it’s very highly priced, it is worth one visit to try the authenticity of the cuisine.The hummus, falafel, pita and the falafel wrap are mouth watering.Recommend this place. The location, with a clear view of the Gateway and the harbour, the ambience, the service, and , of course, the food--ooh la la. The Supervisor for the evening and the chef went to all the tables to talk to the diners adding an extra nice touch. Wah Taj!

Mediterranean lunchAvoid ala carte as this place will rip your wallet apart, the starters buffet is good priced at 1950 taxes included , it would be great if they could add a soup it would literally complete the lunch. The freshly baked pita with Zaatar is lovely. I have been there twice on my last 2 visits to Bombay and I will always come back for lunch.Staff is also very courteous

First of all, I thank Steffi and Anant in Souk restaurant for the most delightful hospitality provided to me and my relatives. I was there with my family of 20 to celebrate my girls bday and I swear, I have left with an experience which I will never ever forget. You know places can be nice, Taj is no doubt the best but its the people who put life to that place and one such person was Steffi who was like god sent when we were there and Anant for helping us with the arrangement. Steffie you rock. Keep us the great work.

We went here for our first anniversary. The ambiance is obviously great since it’s Taj after all. It has a beautiful view of Gateway of India. Staff is way we’ll experienced, they are all like working here since ages. We ordered “Kabsa” it’s similar to biryani if I have to put it simply. It was so flavourful that the fragrance only brought water in our mouth. In desert we had Baklava it’s a Lebanese nut pastry. Beautiful experience would always consider this place for special occasions.

Great food and impeccable Taj service. The other tables were quite loud and that was a put off. Otherwise a great place to get some middle East and Mediterranean food.

If you manage to get a window table, then this place offers an excellent view, especially if youre facing the sea and gateway of India. Together with the luxurious ambience, it makes for an elegant dining experience. Some of the items on the menu, especially the salads dont do justice for their price (around ₹1000) but the entrees and main course are excellent despite the high price. Plenty of good dessert options, one of them being the Chocolate Cigara. Overall, the best place to have Mediterranean food in Mumbai hands down.

Very slow service. No concept of which order to serve the appetizers. Pita bread was nothing but Indian bhakri. The chef should go to the Middle East and get trained in real Mediterranean food. Totally disappointed as we expected lot more from a Taj hotel.

We had a very light meal, so frankly, our experience may not be the one that could be defining.However, we did like what we saw and ate at the restaurant.Try and get a table by the window, else its just another restaurant. However, if you get a table by the window, then the views are nice.We ordered a salad and hummus platter and soft drinks... were happy with the two dishes frankly, and with the service. We couldnt order more, and thus cant help yuo with the other dishes, but there is ample variety of the middle eastern cuisine, if you like that kind of food.Go in the evenings... its a nice place

Very courteous service in true a Tata style, by Mr. Manohar Karkera. Excellent middle East food, with panoramic view of Arabian sea. All the staff of the Souk was helpful in making us comfortable, in our first visit to celebrate our 41st wedding Anniversary. Location of the restaurant on 19th floor makes it unique among other restaurants of the Taj.

Food is really great - however as the restaurant wasnt open yet we wanted to have so drinks. Harbour Bar no kidz allowed, lobby very nice but no drinks served, aquarius members only, sea lounge no table for drinks, shamiana after waiting 20 min just to have a few drinks we left. Souk had a great ambiente and fantastic food and the chef came to show a trick to the kidz!!!
