The VITS Hotel Poolside Cafe was a great experience. We were there for a family buffet and it turned out to be a good treat. The food was excellent and the place (being near the poolside) cosy! The hospitality was beyond serving. The floor managers and waiters took care of even our smallest of needs. There were 3 non-veg and 3 veg starter options but they made us a few more on special request. We took hummus and requested for some pita bread and even that was immediately arranged. The Manager Dipankar was taking care of our table and he ensured we got everything we needed.Few things we noticed as we went there:-1. We went through DineOut. The Manager informed me the benefits of a direct walkin and even that sounded a good treat.2. Diners are also allowed to swim in the pool, so be prepared.3. They have a lot of desert options, both Indian and western.Thank youSaloni & Avi
VITS Poolside hotel is located in Marol. Having a Pool inside the hotel where diners can enjoy the poolside view having their meal.We chose to have buffet as it’s the best one could get at a reasonable price. We started with the starters -WE HAD :Chicken Brushetta,Shanghai Paneer,Hoisin fish,Bhatti ka murg.Everything was good, I ordered Hoisin Fish thrice(Im a sea food lover after all)Then we ran straight to Main course –We tried very few main course as we were almost quite heavy from the starters. We chose to have this ones :Thai Herb Rice,Singapore Noodles,Gatta Curry,Oyster Chili Chicken,And I liked the Oyster Chili better (as I personally like oyster sauce)They had amazing varieties in desserts. We had – Rajbhog, White Chocolate pie, Cabinet Pudding, Banana Whip, Black Forest Pastry, Shahi Tukda. Everything was delicious. Our winner in this was the White Chocolate Pie. It had a little creamy texture with a sugary-salty taste to it. To my taste it was good!AMBIENCE - Ambience here is fabulous. Have an amazing sitting arrangement near poolside. Along with it they have a projector in middle where we get to enjoy the cricket match. Loved the whole ambience & the setup of the place.SERVICE – Coming to service I would say it was not that great. The waiters are courteous and professional however they are not much attentive. The food was served very slow. There were not enough spoon, knife, fork on the table too.We didn’t find the food very intriguing as we were expecting it to be. It’s a good place to go on dates as they have offers & special sitting area for couples.Food – 3/5Ambience – 5/5Service – 3/5
Poolside by VITS hotel – When you think of going to a good buffet place, there certainly are more than handful of options in the city. I usually feel they tend to focus more towards providing array of spread so that the customers can’t try anything twice (marketing strategy probably or to give VFM feeling by giving many choices) and in most cases lack on taste to large extent. Trust me you usually feel food was ok, but given that they have so many options you just “feel content” about that and go back to your home. Was VITS’s buffet just like that? NO! It was something I unexpectedly happen to like it rather than any other places in recent times. On ambience, this buffet takes place on first floor by the pool side (as the name suggests) and it has lovely open setup which is very rare to see (see the pictures). The place however is covered from top and its very well air-cond. Overall vibe of the place is very pleasant, calming and soothing to just relax and have a good buffet with your loved ones. On service, from managers to servers, all speak one language i.e. customers satisfaction. So in terms of spread of food, they have 2 veg and 2 non veg starters, 1 each veg and non veg soup, 7 (veg) indian delicacies, 3 chinese delicacies, 1 continental, 4 nonveg deilicacies, 6 salads and 6 desserts.Starters: Pili mirch paneer tikka (Rating 4/5), Mix Veg Chilli (Rating 5/5), Lal Surk Murg tikka (Rating 5/5), Fish Amritsari (Rating 4/5) and chefs special Basil fish (Rating 4/5) – Overall starters were pretty spot on flavors, the freshness of dish and the perfect blend of masalas on each individual dish. Out of the lot, I really loved the murg tikka so much that I kept on eating them again and again, I think it’s the best starter out there, do check that out. Other best I felt was mix veg chilli which was basically mix veg with cheese coated in bread crumbs and dipped in chilli sauce in small glass like frame was a delight to have.Soups: They had veg manchow soup and cream of burnt garlic chicken soup (Rating 4/5). I tried the chicken soup and it was a delight. Perfect balance of garlic and heat & the broth was done really well.Indian: They had options like Paneer Lababdar (Rating 4/5), subz tikha dal (Rating 3/5), bhoona saag, baigan aur mirch ka salan, dal tadka (Rating 3/5), steamed rice (Rating 3/5) and peas pulao – Out of all those things I loved paneer lababdar in general as the curry was well cooked though little higher on sweet side still made well whereas the dals were pretty ok to my palate as it somehow lacked enough seasoning of taste, salt, etc.Chinese: Korean fried rice (Rating 4/5), Chilli garlic noodles (Rating 4/5), stir fry Chinese green – Korean rice was packed with amazing flavors. Rice was cooked to perfection and it was really flavorsome, it felt more like a schezwan rice though not exactly that whereas noodles were lovely cooked and went well with the curries they had.Nonveg: This consisted of Chicken biryani (Rating 5/5), Murgh Makhani (Rating 5/5), Punjabi fish curry, hot garlic fish – So I tried the biryani and I was pleasantly surprised by their offering. The chicken pieces were actually tandoored rather than usual boiled which added punch of flavors and the biryani was very aromatic. You should definitely try this out if available whereas the murgh makhani was yet another stellar offering from their side. Perfect curry needs balance of great texture of gravy, spiciness, sweetness, well cooked chicken and you are set. This was definitely a great quality murgh makhani I will remember from buffet.Desserts: It had strawberry swiss roll (Rating 4/5), butter scotch mousse (Rating 5/5), Chocolate brownie pudding (Rating 4/5), Rasgulla (Rating 4/5), mix fruit barfi (Rating 3/5) and malpua (Rating 5/5) – Overall, great spread of desserts and they were not overly sweet which was perfect way to end the happy buffet. Loved each one of them.My overall rating is 5 for great service, great ambience and ofcourse the most important part of any place i.e. food. I would certainly like visiting such places.
Poolside Cafe at VITS hotel has got one of the best buffets that you can have. We visited this place during the evening and opted for dinner buffet. They offered schezwan chicken, fish finger, chicken sheek kebab and bharwa paneer in starters along with complimentary drink. We didnt order other veg starters. In main course, there was Thai chicken gravy, meethi chicken gravy, basa fish, mutton biryani, rice, noodles, live counter (chicken tava), bhendi masala, veg sabzi anarkali etc. The non-vegetarian food was simply awesome and I would also vouch for vegetable dishes. Desert included beetroot halwa, angoor rabadi, karanji, mewa peda, caramel dish, strawberry moose and white pastry.Although a bit expensive, if there is a place in your list where you would like to indulge in food, then do include Poolside Cafe also. You can see why it is rated highly when you visit that place.A word of appreciation to Mr. Bansi, Rahul and chef Sandeep. Service was top notch. Also, the best part is 2+2 on Zomato Gold for drinks.
This place offers an elaborate Midnight buffet. This all day dining place serves delectable buffets for breakfast, lunch and dinner apart from an À la carte menu which offers Indian and global cuisines. The seating arrangement is simple but well-spaced and the poolside view adds to the charm. The live counters which change daily are interactive and a treat to watch. The lunch and dinner buffets are an exercise in choices with abundant options for vegetarians too. Akhrot Aur Zimikand Ki Seekh and Dahi Batata Puri are worth trying for vegetarians. Lamb Paya Shorba, Prawns Tempura, Tawa Meat Masala are treats carnivores must not miss. The quality of ingredients is incomparable and the flavours robust. Affordably priced, the buffets here are hugely popular. Those seeking a quick bite can opt for the sandwiches, burgers and rolls section. The bar menu is exhaustive and the signature cocktails are interesting. The Indian desserts here are definitely your best bet. The mawa filled Gulab Jamuns are pure indulgence. The staff is polite and attentive and the service quick and unobtrusive. There is a special kids section on the menu.
The experience at the Poolside Cafe was very warm and welcoming.Very nice and a different ambience, good food and a very good spread of buffet and excellent service and hospitality by the staff .
Nice food. Nice ambience. Swimming pool was awesome. Food was great especially live counters and deserts
Poor quality of brunch buffet with only one breakfast item! Over priced for quality of food! Poor hygiene!I was over charged for an alcoholic beverage! All the management could do was apalogize rather than fixing the problem or not charging me!I have provided my contact details and given my feedback still no response!I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone!
Pool area is quite small and looked cramped up. Menu and the food was good and extensive. Overall decent place for the price.
Wonderful place , breakfast at the poolside cafe, amazing buffet breakfast and humble staff. Must visit. Very close to Mumbai International airport. VITS , Best place if you are wanting to stay close to airport.
Had wine and biryani here. Splendid serving by Prakash. Truly appreciate your humbleness and politeness. I feel loved.
Poolside - VITS... One of the Best Place to Have a Great Dining Experience.. Be it Ambiance or Quality and Variety of Food or the Great Hospitality of the Hotel Staff, Everything is Awesome and Perfect with VITS
Very beautiful place, with nice ambience, went for a date with my boyfriend, we had a good time, the food was so yummy.
It was amazing experience with vits hotel in 1st visit, amazing hotel textures and maintained hygiene.....let come to service part.... captain mr. ravsaheb and team was so sophisticated with customers....food quality was good and poolside ambiance was pleasance...Thank you.👍
Centre place of meetings , with best Guest rooms , Good foods .higly recommended...
Front end staff was uncouth. Had visited with my family and server was rude and dismissive. On duty manager however was co-operative and took action to the complain as well as compensated for the same but by then the evening was ruined. Give it a try if you want an ambience. However, there are better places in Andheri
The girl at Poolside restaurant when called and asked to reserve table for 3pax for Midnight dinner for NearBuy Voucher, she said they are sold out. After an hour, when we called same number for direct reservation and booking said that they have ample of seats available. This shows very poor management system and bad attitude towards customers. If you are not interested in serving to customers having Nearbuy voucher then dont list your product on it.I wonder what VITS management is teaching the staff in terms of their behavior with customers.
Decent location. Was there for business presentation. Banquet service must improve in terms of presentation and service
Decent restaurant. Limited buffet spread. Food is tasty. Service is okay but can be improved.
The review is solely based on my personal experience with the restaurant.Greetings : Was greeted exteremely well, the staff is very much courteous, especially Jiyut the manager.Ambience : its a fabulous poolside dinner and a very serene experience where you can actually have a peacefull dinner either with ur family or have your couple goals achieved.Food : Cranberry delight mocktail,Papad roll,Banna leaves wrap fish, paneer cubes. Followed by a dinner buffet having numerous varities to explore from, pesto sauce grillef fish, chicken thai curry to mutton pulav, Each dish had its on way to pleasure your toungue.Extras : they have a special deck for couples to have a candle light dinner with red theme and flash lights to make sure u feel special. Also to mention there are lot of spots to click pictures which is an add on.Overall, during my visit nothing went wrong right from the smallest thing to serve water and timings of the service.
Nice place to hang out
Superb
Service was quite nice....food good
The ambiance of this place is great. Its situated next to the pool as the name suggests and at the exact centre of the hotel from where the whole hotel can be seen. The buffet menu includes a lot of options in main course, starters, desserts, etc.Welcome drinks are just for namesake as its taste is terrible. The soups come under the same impression too. Starters is the area one can concentrate on as it includes a lot of seafood and chicken which taste good. Main course for the non-vegetarian option is good but the same cannot be said for the vegetation option they provide. Desserts are delicious and include a lot of things from cheesecakes to gulab jamun.Service is not that good. Its slow and half of them do not even understand what people want.Price is high and is definitely not worth.
Great food excellent service Zomato gold 2+2 offer and quality service with absolute ambience go for it 50 % off on buffer Vijay was a excellent host full 5 Stars
Ambience and food was goood but when you go along with a group and choose buffey the service was really slow..Each time they served a dish it took them like 15 mins to serve the next one or repeat the same dish..That really disappointed us.. Otherwise it was all good!
Good food but the staff is not so good
Comfortable place. Efficient staff. Great food.
Good ambience. Breakfast timing and menu is quite good.
We went to Poolside VITS Hotel and were pleased to have the chance to lunch while enjoying the serenity and calmness besides a pool. They even have screenings of crickets and other sports for people who wanna watch it by the pool.We opted to have the buffet there, which included-STARTERS-1) Shanghai Paneer2) Bhatti ka Murg3) Chicken Bruschetta4) Hoisin FishWe personally loved the Bhatti ka Murg.MAIN COURSE-1) Gatta Curry2) Singapore Noodles3) Oyster Chili Chicken.Oyster chili chicken was a dish we hadnt tried before and absolutely fell in love with it.DESSERTS included-1) Shahi Tukda2) RajBhog3) Banana Whip4) White Chocolate PieAnd many more which we wouldnt try because we were so full!Everything was so amazing. The staff was super nice and courteous.Would love to visit again
Place is good but could hv been much better. Food is Ok, dessert are not good except Gajar ka halwa. We had faced issued with AC cooling which was not resolved.
Soft music, dim lights, tables around swimming pool as name suggests, perfect ambiance, calm place for couple or family. Excellent food, variety of food options for buffet, good service what else you want. Will visit again
Nice food.. lot of variety. The Deserts were very nice esp the Malpua Rabdi. Service was ok.The pool area was little small and cramped up. Our kids went to the pool but Pool water was excess cold may be due to been indoor. Overall nice experience.
Ambiance ...too goodFood ....goodStaff service....good
Just last evening we were at this beautiful poolside restaurant at VITS for dinner! VITS has not really caught my attention up until now when I realised that they actually have such good buffets and a great Sunday brunch as well. They have a Menu that changes every single day. We tried their buffet dinner priced at Rs. 1000 per person along with either one pint of beer or two mocktails. They had a wide range of starters, soups, salads, main course and desserts serving cuisines all the way from Indian to continental to Chinese. For the starters there were three options each for veg and non veg which keep changing. We tried the Paneer Shanghai, cheese shorts, tandoori Haryali aloo, Murgh kandhari, Chinese grilled fish and Mexican grilled chicken. For the soup they had the French onion soup and the lemon Coriander soup. The spread of main course was humongous- daal ghost, Murgh Hyderabadi biryani, biristha pulao, daal lasooni, babycorn Mushroom mutter, subz anakali, Paneer lababdar and steamed rice. And this is just the Indian fare. The Chinese fare had the typical noodles, fried rice and a gravy and also the Thai curry. For the continental they offered a cheesy grilled fish, potato pepper blast, enchiladas and lyonnaise veggies! And last but not the least - they had a good collection of both western and Indian dessert. There was Cham Cham, dudhi halwa, shahi tukda, chocolate barfi, pannacotta, white forest pastry, Chocolate walnut ball and coffee crunch tart. What more could one possibly ask for!Their service was definitely 5 star standards. Both the manager Mr. Shahid Nasim, Chef deep Prakash and all of the servers kept checking on us and making sure that we were well taken care of. This was VIP treatment at its best. This place should definitely be visited!
Poolside cafe somehow lacks the appeal, Food is niether so good nor so bad.
We liked the ambience, tava fried pomfret good...just try that...
