Service was dull. our waiter was bilingual (that’s always a plus). i had the gnocchi poutine. i dont think the gnocchi was fresh, it wasn’t as chewy. gravy was more on the salty side but the cheese and meat was delicious..a greasy mac and cheese. they could’ve been more generous with the cheese..and an amaretto sour: too sweetmy friend had the classic mozza cheese and tomato sauce pizza and a lychee cocktail. he loved it

We had the filet mignon with spaghetti and mushrooms and also the all-dressed pizza. Amazing! Genuine Italian flavor! Bravissimo!

Very good family restaurant. Food is not mind blowing but always consistent and good. The fries are excellent and the pizza was decent perhaps maybe required a bit more salt in the tomato sauce but all in all very good. The waiter was efficient and attentive and friendly. Will continue to frequent this establishment.

This place is always super reliable in terms of flavours and quality. The calamari are always fresh with a delicious spicy sauce to accompany it. I often get the Gnocchi al Gorgonzola — i never thought i could like any form of gorgonzola but this dish is a knockout. Also, can’t resist the cannoli, they really don’t skimp on the filling it’s beautiful.

The staff at La Bella Italiana are fantastic, their standards in providing a wonderful dining experience are exceptional. The ambiance is beautiful, warm and accommodating. The cuisine is delicious authentic Italian, the fixed menu always provides the classics we know and love and the table dhôte is always a creative inspiration. Keep up the great job guys!

The service was terrible. Our waiter had been wiping down tables and chairs before he took our orders. I have no idea if he washed his hands.The waiters kept passing between our table and the next empty table instead of going on the other side. It was very disturbing and disrespectful. To make matters worst a pasta order had not arrived we had to remind the waiter which took 45 minutes or so to receive. The food is good but the service is unprofessional and low class.

Classy Taverna and friendly service. Had a take out pizza ($21) which was delicious but dont go if youre very hungry; their one size only medium pizza is OK for one person, but not two.

One of the best pizza restaurant in the east-end. I am not saying it is the best in town but it up there. Good variety of choices in the menu and we love sharing different appetizers when we go there for lunch. One of our favorite is the gnocchi poutine with braised beef sauce and of course meat and cheese. Service is overall pretty good.

Where do i start...!!staff was welcoming to start, the place was full and we had no reservations and they did everything to get us a table...beautiful and relaxed ambiance ,the owners are on site and always making sure everyone was ok.the food WOWOWOWOWOWOWIve been to many Italian restaurants and nothing says more of authenticity then Bella Italiana, the calamari were so fresh and crispy ,the pizza was like biting through clouds and what a storm of flavors in my mouth it was!!to finish we had the cannolis A MUST and we were offered grappa by one of the owners i presume.Chapeau to the team behind it all to make our beautiful week end a magical one...i will be back!!...Bravo ragazzi!!

Few of my co-workers recommended this place to me a few times and I finally made the trek out there to Saint-Leonard and was very impressed with every single dish we tried!! I could not be more happy with this new found place for Me that is. The waiter was very good at helping us choose and giving us suggestions and very friendly. Will be going back we tried the Gnocchi poutine and the rapini with Italian sausage with garlic that honestly would not be one of my first choices but was excellent!!

Very friendly and professional staff greeted us upon arrival and quickly attended to us despite not having made a reservation. The service was fantastic and the food was first class. The pizzas and pasta we ordered was prepared so quickly it was still hot and fresh. The selection of ice creams and other desserts were just as delicious. I would highly recommend a visit to the restaurant and make a reservation to sample the delicious cuisine for yourself. 10/10

Minchia bro!! If you ask me this place is pretty average. I kept hearing from my gumar that I had to try this pizza.... try this pizza. Che cazzo bro, I had to try it!!The dough is good, but the pizza doesnt cut it for me bro; I told Tanya shes pazza. Their Poutine Gnocchi is a good idea, but the taste isnt there. Nevertheless, its affordable so its a good place to bring the gumars.

So glad we were lucky enough to get a table without reservation on Tuesday night...apparently rare. This dining experience was exactly what I was hoping for...a friendly, relaxed atmosphere with quality flavorful food served at a reasonable price. We started with the Mozzarella Fior di Latte (fresh generous slabs of tomato and cheese with balsamic oil and basil) and Calamari Fritti. The calamari is wonderfully seasoned, tender and again, generously portioned. Turns out there was good reason that as we looked around the restaurant it seemed almost everyone was eating pizza. The thin crust is spectacular...buttery soft texture with just the right amount of crunch. We had the Capricciosa and loved every bite. Dessert? Oh yeah! You absolutely cannot miss the Baci al Cioccalato...7 pizza dough balls filled with a Nutella and cheese mixture then baked in the pizza oven and served warm...mind blowingly delicious! We added some hazelnut gelato to go along with it and were not disappointed that we did so. Ill be dreaming of this place long after Ive returned to my home in Calgary. Wonderful service and overall experience from start to finish.

I go there quite often. Whether it’s for the pizza, the tartare or the pasta. Its delicious. Italian food is simple and that is what you get: fresh, simple ingredients.The service could be better. I wish the waiters interacted more with their clients. It feels like a cold and quick transaction everytime and that is why I give it 4 stars and not 5. The ambiance is good, it fills up quick as it isn’t a big place. Exceptional service and very fast. Went on a Sunday afternoon wasnt to busy so no reservation was needed nor was there long wait times. Nice variety on menu. Their main dish pecialties seem to be their pasta, pizza and meats. We ordered the Bella Italiana pizza. Delicious assortment of toppings. The dough was light and fluffy around the edges. Nicely cooked to perfection. Our beer glasses were nice and chilled. There is a small free parking in the back of the restaurant that fits about 4/5 cars, if not parking is on the street. Would definitely go back when the weather is warmer to try out their terrace.

Ordered for delivery. These cannolis looked delish until I got a taste. Theyd gone bad. Not sure if they were not properly refrigerated. In any case they were not fresh and are going to the trash. Very disappointed.

A St. Leonard classic Italian resto. Wood burning oven, the pizza is fantastic. Try the gnocchi Poutine and the Nutella balls. Very creative and unique. Staff is amazing and owners are the friendliness guys! And to end the meal, they have phenomenal ice cream including a must try pistachio ice cream.

Weve been craving for a good pizza for a while and went here just for that.We got two margarita pizza and a salad ... we thought maybe thats two much but boy I was wrong lol the pizza barely enough for one hungry adult ... its more like an appetizer tbh ... it is thin and crispy with delicious fresh sauce and tasty cheese.. the atmosphere is cozy and the place is clean and well taken care of... parking can be a challenge during busy hours.. were definitely coming back... for the pizza but also to try something else!

What happened to this place! Been going there for years and recently went back for their wood oven pizza and it was thinner than a tortilla and bland, ridiculous! Barely any toppings on it either. Wont be going back.

I ordered with Uber Eats. The pizza arrived and it was cold. It was also undercooked, and the dough was very chewy. Very unsatisfied.

While visiting St-Leonard area I have ordered Calmari fritti and pizza Medina (a special one pizza with ancovies) from the place. Impeccable taste of the food. The pizza appearance and taste I would never forget. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Stay safe !

Nice meal and service was good

Absolutely wonderful food. I had a pizza and my fellow dinners had pasta. All of it tasted great. The house red is very nice as well, not too dry. Service was good, the in-house gelato and sorbet were also wonderful. If you eat here you will not be disappointed!!

We have taken out food as well as eaten in this restaurant. Both of our experiences have been absolutely outstanding! Although we have not sampled the entire menu, everything we have tasted has been amazing and the times that we have been in the restaurant all of the staff have been absolutely polite, courteous and extremely helpful in explaining what is and is not on the menu as well as accommodating special orders. We would recommend this place definitely, especially if you’re looking for an amazing thin crust pizza that is bursting with super flavors! We will continue coming back!

First visited for a friends birthday about two years ago and I am now obsessed with the place! The staff is always VERY nice and the service is amazing as it is quick. Their pizzas are to literally die for and the prices are appropriate for the quality of the food! Definitely a 5/5!

Everything was excellent and the great reviews are well deserved. Pizza is thin crust done right. Not the dried out kind that breaks when you bight it. Tartufo was delicious and the coffee was fantastic. Customers on the terrace were casual while the Sharp dressed business people chose the nicely decorated air conditioned interior. I eat here every time Im in town and the food is always fresh, cooked daily and delicious with healthy options for Italian. The service is even better and its family run. Pizza is done in 90 seconds in the wood burning oven...order the Neapolitan with peppers and sauce on the side. The food is so good that it will be double digit visits before you try new dishes. Food is great, the service is always pleasant and the ambience is super fun! The only thing is parking can be an issue depending what day of the week you go. On busy nights it’s harder to find parking.
