Enjoyed an amazing family dinner at Maiolo’s at the Le Meridien Versailles in Montréal. We had 3 pasta dishes and the rib eye. The food was simply delicious and generous portions, with warm and friendly service. Highly recommended for a relaxing dinner before a night out in Montréal. Will definitely visit again.

I am torn. I want to rate this restaurant higher and will be back to see if my experience is different. Excellent staff, the waiter was a perfect professional, the food was great except for the meatballs which were Luke warm and tough but the tomato sauce was piping hot. The Bufala cheese with kale and beets was exceptional. Im thinking the issue with the meatballs was an oversight, will have to try again.

Fantastic! Great place for a late night supper that could stretch into the early hours. Very friendly staff. Ask to meet Chef Giovanni. Hands down best in town.

This place had amazing Italian food all of the smoothies for great they had fresh bread they brought it to us right away. sometimes we come here just for quick lunch and its amazing they have great specials during the lunch hour. The dinner here can have long Waits I suggest making a reservation a couple days in advance if you want to eat dinner here at a reasonable hour. the wait staff is friendly and it doesnt matter if you speak English or French they will help you either way. All in all this place is a great spot to get some authentic Italian food in Montreal.

Great ambiance wether your looking for a nice quite lunch to a full out group dinner this is be place to go! With the new renovation the place looks great. The staff is extremely attentive and are always there. Highly recommend trying, you wont be disappointed with Chef Vitos dishes. Braised boeuf and tiramisu are a must on the order list.

I have to agree Maiolo is the BEST Italian food in Montreal! We went for dinner recently and were very impressed by everything! The space is clean, very cozy and intimate. The staff is incredible, truly amazing. We loved how knowledgeable and friendly they where and that they all similarly sharply dressed. We had appetizers that were amazing, my family kept commenting on how delicious the cherry tomatoes where! The pasta is all hand made and fresh, and you can taste and feel it! The homemade cheesecake was the final touch at the end which was to die for! This was a complete experience, made us feel like we where in Italy, it was that good!

Enjoyed the excellent service, a light snack, Mozzarella di Bufala, and a glass of a local rosé!

By far one of the best dining experiences Ive had in a while. Started of with their grilled octopus plate polpo grigliato. Just wow! so tender.. finally finished of with lobster squid ink pasta that hit the spot.

Very nice service and good food

My wife is vegan and gluten intolerant. Needless to say when we have parties in restaurants the staff usually are not thrilled. They made her three different plates and was served at same time as everyone else (usually doesn’t happen) She rarely raves about a restaurant, but she did last last night. Thank you for the pleasant dining experience !

Excellent food, great restaurant and best chef

They overcharge guests and added 19 percent without your knowledge. And guest will pay extra tip over a bill. Very unprofessional. No apologies for their mistakes.

Enjoyed the meal, and service was outstanding! My only complaint was the dressing on the salad overpowered the salad.

Went tonight with 10 other people and my order was completely screwed up. Never got the soup I ordered and after everyone was served their main courses, I waited 6 minutes and left after my order of the risotto of the day never arrived. BAD BAD BAD. The waiter obviously never put in my order to the kitchen. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE.

Dropped in for dinner late on a Saturday night when I discovered my downtown restaurant of choice was closed for holidays. Excellently cooked Italian food and very gracious service. That the kitchen is open until 11 PM every day is a great plus. Both the fried calamari and chicken paillarde were quite tasty (the latter can be bland at other venues), portions were generous, and at my request and at no charge they added a sizeable side dish of pasta with the best Bolognese sauce I have had in a very long time. Prices were pretty standard for decent Italian restaurants, even in the Montreal suburbs. Their attachment to the Hotel Meridien makes them particularly obliging and cordial. A pleasant and serendipitous discovery for me.

Nourriture à prix exorbitant! Qui ne goûte presque rien, jai trouvé un cheveu dans mon assiette à 40$! Heureusement que Jai pu changer de plat assez rapidement!Super belle soirée, mais pas dair climatisé il faisait beaucoup trop chaud dans le restaurantNe prenez pas le filet de saumon à 40$ car il vient sans accompagnement et quelques feuilles de Laitues.

Ive been here this evening and I finally ate Italian. I had fried calamari and octopus as a starter, first risotto with shrimps and rocket and tiramisu as dessert. All very good and truly Italian cuisine. Equally great service. Compliments .

French service, efficient and discreet. Pleasant place in the city center jeweler district and near the famous museum of fine arts. Tasty card. The portions are plentiful.

Super good Italian restaurant, I went there with my girlfriend for dinner and it had a nice jazz atmosphere and the service was really attentive. Our favorite dish was the homemade gnocchi ... it was just divine.

The best Italian food restaurant in downtown Montreal. The best chef Vito and Giovanni take care of you personally and make you feel like family because they even come to talk with you. The innkeepers are always aware of if you need something more. In this restaurant there is no detail that escapes them. Impeccable. Bravo!!!! Recommended at 1000%
