Food was delicious! The dessert was definitely my favourite. Wish the Pad Thai was a bit more savoury rather than sweet, but overall the meal was great.

Went to this restaurant on a whim because I was craving Thai food. We had the table d’hote at $35, which was a fair price for a soup (4 options), 3 appetizers and choice of 1 main. The coconut milk soup (#4) was delicious and the appetizers of spring roll, peanut butter dumplings and chicken satay stick were all really good. However the meal somewhat declined thereafter. We got the red curry with vegetables and shrimp and sticky rice and the chicken pad Thai. The curry sauce was good but I found the veggies too undercooked, especially the Thai eggplant which was quite hard. The shrimp were plump and there were a good amount and the rice was good. The pad Thai was very plain and totally lacked punch or much flavour, unfortunately. The ambiance of the restaurant was nice as they also had a more traditional seating area with colourful low cushions and tables. The waiter was also very nice.

I just finished devouring my take out. This is easiest the best Thai in not only Montreal but Quebec. This is the first time we try their take out and I was pleasantly surprised. It’s the kind of food you write home about . Tasty, flavourful and it hits the spot. I can eat this all day. If you are looking for something to take you away during this crazy pandemic, this is the thing to do it. **having been in person I can say it’s very LGBTQ friendly.

Service was good despite having just 2 waiters serving about 30 people. For cocktails Id recommend you go for the Chi-Chi - best one Ive had in a minute. And as always with Thai restaurants, the food was great

I took my wife here couple of days ago. Absolutely loved the place! My wife was craving for authentic Thai cuisine. And authentic Thai cuisine is what we got here. I booked the place especially for the unique sitting arrangement. But the food absolutely delighted us! Highly recommend the mango (or papaya) salad. Also the red curry was great with the sticky rice. The price is a bit on the higher side, but the ambiance and the food justifies the price. Would visit the place again for sure.

Loved the Chichi cocktail. The imperial rolls(crab) and fried bananas are good. Pad Choochee - good curry. Pad kimao was ok. Nice staff and good service.

Almost spot on for Thai flavors. Out of about 15 dishes we ordered, only one was merely ok, the others were excellent.

Amazing restaurant! Interior decoration and service are perfect. I took the 33$ table dhôte and loved my choice. Every plate is freshly made. For those who like coconut I would absolutely advise you to take the soup with coconut. Their dumplings are really good too. Would definitely recommend and go back to.

Traditional seating and fish tank were awesome. The service was slow between courses but servers were friendly even when I had to change my order (because of my own stupidity). The food was warm but not hot and most dishes lacked in flavor. Would not go again as it was very pricey for the quality of the food and plenty of better options. 4 stars for the service and 1 star for the food....

Food and service is amazing, and reasonable prices very clean and tasty, the beef with red curry is amazing .Street parking is available on weekdays,you can find a free street parking on the side road ( if your lucky ) .Highly recommended place.Two kinds of seating is available there ,the inground one and the normal table and chairs.Very friendly staffWent there for the second time,it was really amazingHighly recommended

Great thai restaurant! I often have their mook pla signature dish with sticky rice. It is unique as I have not found it at any of the other cookie cutter Thai food places. Just delicious though! Great penut dumplings, stir fryls, curries, soups, and they ever have a Thai style seating area. The service had always been very good. We just love going to this restaurant.

If you want to try true Thailands food - it is the place to go! Every dish is delicious and authentic. The interior is beautiful and is really well thought to the smallest details. The staff is super friendly and professional, they know all the menu by heart. Very good experience!

After years of passing by I finally decided to try it and was not disappointed. We had a shrimp Pad Thai which was really really delicious. Everything tasted fresh and the shrimp were pretty big. We also had the lightly battered fried beef with white pepper and salt on a bed of sauteed peppers and onions that was amazing. The flavors were awesome. Service was very quick and good. Would definitely recommend. I am giving 4 star because of 2 specific things.First, It was slightly over priced, but then again you are paying for the decor and ambiance. Second, the service was a little too rapid. We ordered and the food came out in under 5 minutes and they removed our plates plates literally when we were having our last bites. From when we went in and came out it 40 minutes had passed. A bit too quick and kind of felt as if we were rushed through our meal. All in all still we still enjoyed it greatly.

It was not my first time here but definitely my last. Overall the food was not very tasty. The tom yum soup was the only good thing we had. Way overpriced for what you are getting in both taste and quantity. Not as good as it used to be.

My fave Thai restaurant to date, I only wish there was parking! Every dish, from fish to curry to tom yum soup is to die for, quality and price amazing, a la carte or me is best since I can never decide what I want (its just too good). Vino Verde with your sushi works out quite well and they have a good one! Staff is kind despite being busy. I just need to BEG you to make that Tom Yum soup available in a dinner meal format. Its too small because its too good!!! I never want it to end...

Unique atmosphere, comfy cushions, well thought out menu, authentic cuisine. We were served by one gentleman who wore glasses and knew the menu perfectly. Another server whose name was Lam waited on us as well and his great energy made the night.

Very odd experience. Made reservation on open table. Arrived and restaurant was 75% full. Seated immediately. Received water after sitting for 8 minutes (by busboy, no greeting or asking us how we were) and after sitting for 15 minutes with no server approaching we left and no one noticed. Nothing like this has ever happened to us before.

This place is great! Beautiful cozy design, excellent food, friendly stuff and good prices. The pad thai is delicious! Also a very good drink menu with a bottle of wine starting at 24 CAD! Definitely recommend! The only thing I did not understand was extra price for the tinest little cup of rice that was not included in the main dishes (3 CAD).

I rarely feel the need to review a restaurant but the food was so mediocre I had to write something. I dont know if they are trying to dull down the thai food to meet a western palate but it is a far cry from real Thai food. Everything was extremely sweet from the soup to the curry, it was bizarre. We ordered the squid salad which was the only dish that was good and not overly sweet. Atmosphere is lovely and the prices and service were good but I would definitely not go back.

Restaurant is very beautiful. Must try the special seating. Vegetable soup with vegetable and sliver noodles broth is very delicious. Angel wings is good.

Decent thai food. Nothing spicy, mostly mild dishes, which isn’t usually how thai food is. They have a lot of seating which is good. Would recommend reserving in advance. Also, finding a parking spot nearby is a challenge.

Charming Thai restaurant with traditional dishes though they also incorporate some Japanese traditional dishes like the Bento box.Friendly and efficient service.The spring rolls were golden and crunchy and the legumes were well cooked, the sour sweet sauce was ok, evidently preprepared, the noodle soup was hearty and spicy and the citronella grass and ginger have it a nice balanced zest that gave the chicken a good flavor.This is the place to have a real deal Thai meal than Thai Express.

I love it!!! I discovered this place in 2003 I think...yah! Very long time ago. And I told and brought many of my friends and family to it many times. Its my favorite resto so far. Their formula didnt change since then. The taste is the same, the setup is the same, the decor ...everything is the same and better! I love the service too. If there was an easier parking in the area , for sure it would have made things easier ;) but so far I always managed to find a spot close by.

On this particular night, the restaurant waa semi full and it smelled very fishy. We sat at a regular table and were able to order drinks right away. Our table was a bit wobbly but the server promptly fixed it for us. The food was very good and was a large portion (Im American so this is a must). My only complaint is that the curry did not come with rice, which had to be ordered separately.

The restaurant has a very appealing decor and is quiet as well as charming! One of the best places for Thai food, their dishes are full of flavour and are very beautifully presented. The service was speedy and courteous. Highly recommend!

Brought the family here for the first time. We had the table dhote so we could try more than just a main dish. Everything was absolutely fabulous... so tasty and nicely prepared, excellent presentation too. We loved their peanut sauce and the curry sauces are rich and so tasty too. Decent atmosphere, but rather tasteless food. The roasted duck was good but none of the other meals had any taste, noodles very watery and rice overlooked. They appear to use a lot of vinegar and sugar, the spice burns rather than being truly tasteful hot. Its an average quality food, definitively not 5 stars, more 3.5 ... and they were not even busy when we dined there On the flip side the house wine was pretty good and reasonably priced.

My partner and I have been eating at Restaurant Thailande for years. The food has had its ups and downs, but we would come back. On 09.20.2019, I made a solo order of one Tom Yum soup (with mushrooms) and a Pad Thai (with shrimp). I immediately felt nauseous after eating the soup and when I tried to eat some of the Pad Thai it didnt tats as fresh and was slightly cold. The next day, I gave the rest of my Pad Thai a try and was sick for the rest of the evening. I am not sure what happened, but the food was not up to par. The nausea in which I felt has led me to not want to eat at the restaurant again.

The food was quite good. They were able to accommodate vegan no problem and just a loose description of what I wanted. The cocktails were pricy, and the waiter could find a spare pitcher to just leave water at the table for the six of us. Id happily go back again.

We had a very pleasant dinner there - arrived shortly after opening time and got the cushioned table next to the beautiful aquarium, where the tropical fish kept our kid occupied. She was also delighted by the various Thai statues and umbrellad banquet area. The service was great, and the food was delicious (we chose the more reasonably priced curry and noodle dishes, and a couple of apps). Its a charming place, probably more so with the recent renovation - glad we finally gave it a try.

We had 5 dishes and the flavors were great on 4 out of 5. I would not recommend the masaman curry (it is not in the same league as the rest of the food).The service was a little slow although the place was not packed nor was it rush hour.I will return for sure.

Bland and dishonest. Waiter told me my meal was completely vegetarian, and even laughed that I asked him to confirm it. Then after trying my starter soup I asked him if there was fish sauce in it, to which he replied “of course, there’s fish sauce in all our soups.”...so I skipped the soup (which wasn’t good anyway), but my main course wasn’t any better. Barely warm, sticky noodles in bland sauce with next to no vegetables. Will not return, and I suggest you spend your money elsewhere too.

I came here twice, the first time I really like the restaurant due to their quality food and service but the second time I came back, my experience was not the same, the food wasnt as good as before. The fried rice was dry and salty a little bit, ... But I hope next time come back, my experience will be better

Quite good and plenty of food for your money. I recommend satay as appetisers (one plate per person), and any dish for the plat-de-resistance. I was told lamb is too much cooked. The whatever-it-is dessert (in which we can feel flavour of coconut) is appreciated at the end of the meal.

The best Thai food Ive had in Montreal and some of the best anywhere outside Thailand. The atmosphere is nice and they make very good classic cocktails (martini, mai tai) too. Not cheap but not expensive. Highly recommend!

Fantastic! Loved everything about this place. Like the other reviewer said, get the floor-seating table with the aquarium, really nice. Thai Spring rolls were huge and delicious, Kaeng Masman was also great. Good drink selection as well.

Always impressed by the excellent taste and quality of the food. From drinks to desert you will be amazed by the taste. If you like fish try the fish steamed in banana leaf. And the jasmin tea creme brulee is a must try in desert.

Very good Thai, but certainly not the best Montreal has to offer. The price is a bit more reasonable than some of the other options and the food is a bit above average. I would go back and given the size of the restaurant, it works well for last-minute plans.
