THE FOOD IS DELICIOUS!This cute little place on the cote des neiges hill is tucked into a little semi-basement. It has enough space to seat 30 people comfortably. I didn’t feel claustrophobic inside and the bathrooms are very clean. We were well greeted at the door, seated with water in seconds. The timing between each meal was superb and efficient. Each meal was at the right temperature and very delicious. I finished the soup!!! The broth was so delicious that I finished the soup. That was a first for me.The waiter had a great recommendation for my friend and she was also very happy with her dish.As you can see from the photos, each dish is prepared with a lot of care and thought. It was a refreshing experience. The price is reasonable also.I will definitely be back soon!

He answered: my moms papaya salad is bomb! All i needed to hear. Ordered two salad with all the 🌶️🌶️🌶️🥵 possible to make them understand that I am a Laotian, i can take it. They understood. Wowzer. Craving satisfied 😏 bring it on Monday! Im ready for you 💪👊

Overrated imo, but kinda ok. Most dishes deserve 2.5 to 3.5 stars but the place is clean and welcoming. Flavors are always super simple with a single ingredient usually giving all the taste (which sometimes is good). But its often disappointing and some dishes are straight out lame. The pad see ew for example is literally just oily sauté noodles with no flavor whatsoever, no taste of soy sauce at all. Just 4 pieces of beef, oily noodle and a side of... sriracha sauce?! ... What is that? That is not pad see ew?! Tasteless oily noodles and sriracha sauce?

Dont get me wrong this place is good. Quality of food and taste is great. But the reason I give this place a 3 Star is just that the portions are very little. I come to this place like twice, 3 times a year. But Id come more often if the portions justify the price.

Review №14

Was looking forward to ordering from here, but everything was bland. The pad Thai was missing flavor and there’s barely any tamarind flavour. Honestly, It just tasted like low effort pad Thai. The noodles were clumpy and sticky to each other. I found pieces of bones in my pad Thai. The Tom yum soup tasted exactly like the powder version from Asian markets. The spring roll was made with uncleaned shrimp. The black part on the back was still on the shrimp. Gross. Never again.

A cute spot for tasty Cambodian/Thai cuisine. It’s very clean and the service is nice and attentive. The food though! Is super flavourful. I tried the Chicken Amok curry and Sesame Che chicken with some calamari to start. The calamari was crisp on the outside and the actual squid was wonderfully tender. I highly recommend the Amok curry because it has very deep flavours.

I really loved this place. They have a simple menu featuring Cambodian and Thai classics. Food quality is high, you can taste the freshness of the ingredients used, and the spices are not overpowering. The portions aren’t big, so if you have a big appetite, I recommend getting starters. Service-wise it could be quite slow sometimes during rushes, but the staff is always friendly and the food is worth the wait. Overall it offers a good value for money, and it’s a BYOW.

This restaurant was our caterer for our baby shower and everybody loved the food. The pad thai, papaya salad and ngam were delicious. Almost all the guests took some more food to go. We didn’t experience any hassle with the order nor the pick-up, everything was absolutely a breeze. I would definitely recommend Tuk-Tuk for any catering events!

The food here doesnt have a commercial taste, it tastes like its coming out of your mothers kitchen. My wifes family is from Cambodia and Tuktuks food tastes like my in-laws cooking. If youre looking for an authentic taste of Thai and Cambodian food this is the place to go.You should definitely try the Pad See Ew, the Amok is fantastic, the mango salad has a fresh taste, the Imperial rolls are generous with pork, and the desert is a very typical Cambodian dish.5/5 will order from here again.

Really small place in cote des neiges area. We went around 7 pm and there was exactly one table left so we were lucky usually gets crowded and not enough space. But food is definitely worth it. Had the Nam ya soup its a red curry broth with coconut milk really delicious not that spicy actually. Next we had the fresh tuk tuk roll its a vegetarian spring roll with a peanut sauce highly recommand this. And the best thing by far is the tuktuk ice coffee 👍👍👍👍 best ice coffee. Good food good service.

My husband and I have been going to Tuk Tuk for at least 3 years now so I’m not sure if I’ve posted a review already but this little family owned and run business is such a gem. I am so so picky when it comes to eating out or ordering in because I still want healthy food and ideally really flavourful. TukTuk makes curries and pad thai and appetizers that make me mmmm the whole time I’m eating. They fet the spice right too! When we ask for medium they bring heat instead of making it mild. The flavour is warm and full and fresh. No grease, no fatty foods, the general tuk tuk is even better than general tao and we have tried many general tao’s (hubby fav)! We just ordered through uber eatz foe the first time and the food came so fast and was as fresh and delicious as always. Hits the spot every time when I’m pregnant too (like now again) and even more picky!

Great, convenient Thai food! I had their fried rice and it was on the oily end, but very delicious and their portions are large. It wasnt that authentic as I dont think it would regularly have a medley of frozen vegetables - corn, peas, carrots, beans. But anyhow, it was a nice addition and the rice is more than enough for a lunch. Staff are all super friendly and service is quick.

Rare Cambodian offering in Montreal, they do a great job offering Thai dishes and Cambodian options. The soups arent as huge as you might expect from Pho spots, but the quality is where they shine. Its a nice, quaint spot that surprises once you walk downstairs. The staff were very friendly and attentive.

Cute and clean place. Good service. Food is good but they use too much green pepper. For those of us who have spent time in Asia you will know that Thai food does not require green pepper. Pad Thai does not come with green pepper in Thailand. I find it a cheap way to fill your plate. Keep the tradition on your side.

Fancy plating and fancy-cut vegetables attempt to hide tiny portions and very tame flavours. We went elsewhere afterwards, because three dishes between two people was like an appetizer - a bland unexciting appetizer. Very nice server though.

Authentic cambodian/thai food. It taste like if we were there.Favorites so far:Larb Tuk Tuk: So fresh and tasty minced chicken salad. Love it with a good level of spicy (wish they would offer the classic thai pork version tho. Such a great light summer salad.Amok: Made with Kroeung paste, a khmer spice/herb pastes, with coconut milk and cream). Soo Delicious and comforting!Papaya Salad: Its really tough to find a fresh made authentic Thai papaya salad in Montreal. Its the best handdown. Go for a real spicyyy one for a psychedelic tasting experience 🌶Take Out experience is great and fast tooGood prices

Tuk Tuk, bar-none is my favorite restaurant in Côte-des-Neiges, and its my defacto place to bring my significant other. The seating is intimate and simple, but the food will blow you away. You can even bring your own beer and wine to pair with your dishes (although I think beer will stand up better to their assertive use of spices...may I suggest a Pale Ale or an I.P.A?).They have the staples like Pad Thaï and stir fries, but if you want something authentic and Cambodian, try the Amok with fish, my personal favorite! The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, so dont be afraid to ask for their suggestions. Happy eating!
