The place was great! The food was also amazing, we celebrated a birthday and they were really nice about us bringing in a cake. They also gave us free mango pudding. Only thing I wished they’d change is the cutlery, it should be served and not self served.

The food quality was great and the atmosphere is relaxing with beautiful decor. The floor manager Nawaz and our server Nav provided us with the best service I’ve ever had and gave us great suggestions on what dishes to order. The prices are very reasonable with large portion sizes. Will definitely come back if I am thinking of Pakistani food!

I loved the food. I ordered Lahori Fish and also Karahi Chicken. Both items were fantastic! Yes, it is expensive for one person, but the quantity is meant for two to three people!! Must try! Tyler is awesome! He explained everything, had good conversation, and overall kept good company. I strongly recommend to meet him if you visit the place.

Quick and fine service! Food was a bit of a mixed bag. The Volcano chicken tasted good but the gravy was too watery to enjoy with the naans. The garlic naans were perfect! Lahori fish was pretty good, but felt more soggy and would have been much better with some crunch.I know some folks complain about getting their own utensils from the cabinet beside their tables.. But I find it a unique experience to cut down on service times.Definitely worth another visit!

All around well executed spot name means taste or flavor and they surely reach that caliber feels more so fine dining. Popped by for dinner last week and felt very welcomed the interiors are rustic with earthy inspired makes for a space I havent seen in the city yet. A lot to offer via menu serve yourself with a rack of all you need mango shake was good lollipop chicken was too didnt care much for the stew like dish naan warm and dense short ribs are the best. Came to zauq for a friends wedding dinner. The decor inside has completely changed and the new vibe/atmosphere looks amazing! It looks like a completely new restaurant. The food also tasted really nice and the staff were all very friendly. Definitely recommend checking it out :)

From the food to the wonderful people at Zauq, everything is truly a great experience. You are welcomed with warm caring people and served some of the best food available in the GTA. This place has to be on everyone must visit list and it’s a great place for birthdays and party. Call ahead and make reservations, so you don’t have to wait. Once your in, the service is fast and friendly, the food was hot and delicious.

Had a fantastic experience at the restaurant! The decor is as pleasing as the food, and their service is extraordinary! Nawaz was a great waiter, very attentive and gave great suggestions for us since it was our first time here. The Malai chicken came steaming hot and was expertly marinated: flavorful, tender and the perfect balance to the naan. Definitely recommend this place, a great place for food and photos.

This was our second visit I must say I am truly impressed with their food and great customer service. The guy named Nawaz is really hospitable, and treats the customers with great care, the girls at the reception are also very welcoming and sweet. I have tried their desi cuisine and have liked the taste. I am now looking to try their Hakka Chinese and which was not available today.

We came from Montreal. Honestly one of the best services we ever got. Nawaz was a perfect host. The food was amazing and the decorations and design were immaculate. It was truly a unforgettable experience and we will be coming back.

This is by far one of my favourite restaurants! Me and my friends placed a reservation from all the way in Ajax because we heard such amazing things about this restaurant.From the taste of their food to the beautiful interior design of grass walls and wooden aesthetics, Zauq is by far one of the best restaurants that everyone must try out at least once!My friend really enjoyed her birthday dinner here, and it was all thanks to Nawaz! He even accommodated us for our first time visit! 100% recommend this restaurant to any age groups and all cultural backgrounds! Will be visiting again :)

My first dine in experience at Zauq was amazing. There were 8 of us and I dont think any of us had any complaints! Their ambiance was very pleasing and up to date with todays decor style. Nawaz, our waiter, was very professional. Its a little pricey but I guess the taste of the food makes up for it. We ordered chicken lollipop, bbq platter, butter chicken and chicken biryani. Overall, I would recommend the restaurant :)

Came here a couple months ago before the renovation. Once it reopened my jaw dropped on how beautiful it was on the inside. The floor manager took great care of us. Definitely be coming back for sure. P.S the chicken biriyani is a must!

NO SERVICE. Good food, good ambience/ setup. However, this is kind of in between fast food and dine in....We were a part of 12 people - they dont provide full service expected for a sit in restaurant. Had to setup our own table (plates / cutlery), pack our own food, and constantly request staff service. And they charge a gratuity fee, which is totally fine if service was provided.

So it came all the way from Montreal the food was amazing the service is incredible the decor and utensils are so good we were served by Nawaz and he did an amazing job serving us …Since we came from so far they treated us like guest and we had an amazing time definitely recommend to everyone and we will come back again for sure!!!! Average food for the price not worth it. No baby seat so it seems kids not allowed the way they looked at mine. Self serve concept but the servers couldn’t get the order right. Dam ka keema dish had more water than keema. Chicken 65 wasn’t even spicy- please check out BBQ Tonight. It seems management spend more time and money on appearance than food. Sorry but not worth the price.

I would highly recommend this restaurant! The last time I came to Zauq it was under different management, this new renovated and management has totally changed the game! The customer service was over the moon, the quality of food was amazing, and The cherry on top the Decour of the restaurant itself was a very impressive! I would highly recommend this place for a date night or even just a family outing overall great experience, specially because of Nawaz!

One of the best places to eat in the area. The food is great but what really.sets this place apart is the ambience and the service. For vegetarians, recommend getting the paneer khurchan with Garlic naan.

If you havent been to Zauq yet, youve been missing out! We decided to host an intimate walima dinner with our family there and it was the best decision weve made. The decor was BREATHTAKING, and it is perfect for events. The details are so intricate and exquisite. The food was a solid 10/10 and MOUTHWATERING. Everyone is talking about the food the next day. The manager, Nawaz went above and beyond and helped us so much and made our visit very comfortable and enjoyable. Seriosuly made our visit! Our waiter, Tyler and Raman were so nice and made some recommendations and also advised us what to order for the amount of people we had... Saved us from ordering too much food which was super helpful. The recommendations were spot on. The service just made our experience so much better and weve already recommended it to all of our family and friends. Part 2 of 2 - Disappointed Customer (continued from Part 1 of 2 above)The restaurant also took no notice of these key suggestions I provided and proceeded to once again make the same mistakes by leaving the takeout meal out in the open in unsealed bags amidst a busy waiting area on the counter without even notifying me that the order was ready despite my long wait and problems I incurred due to their mistakes. The staff simply stated it is more convenient for them to leave takeout bags for pick up hanging around at the counter. What about my inconvenience?I had to keep approaching the desk to verify if my order was ready which was left insecurely sitting on the counter for a period of time yet once again. I hope management fully understands the inconvenience their mistakes caused my family to reorder, await an additional hour for a meal I could have had earlier with prolonged delays in administering medications for older parents with a 45 minute commute resulting in a three (3) hour unnecessary ordeal.Three (3) complimentary pop cans and two bite kheers are not going to compensate the dissatisfaction experienced due to management mistakes and gaps especially when I ordered an expensive meal over $130 and expected better service instead of a three (3) hour wait. When I returned home, I found a hair in the complimentary kheer and discovered they had provided incorrect dishes as I ordered lamb karahi but, was provided veal instead. The veal biryani was also burned.These type of mistakes are unacceptable and apologies are needed by management at the first instance especially when loyal customers are willing to drive a long distance to support their business for expensive meals with mediocre, below par, poor service given I could have easily and conveniently gone to other competitive restaurants with better service and quality such as Karahi Point and Karahi Boys. Going forward, I am hesitant and will think twice before visiting and catering from Zauq in given this poor experience. I am deeply disappointed as I expected better and really did want to support this business that had so much potential. The lacking managerial apology for customer service errors is unacceptable.Although this restaurant is beautifully renovated and appears to offer a unique Pakistani dining experience, customer service needs to be a priority and no level of uppity décor and the use of technological gadgets will substitute poor customer service.I sincerely hope management reads this review and implements these improvements if they want to retain a sustainable loyal customer following and a basic customer service standard for the long term. Took my family for dads birthday dinner and I am glad it was a great experience. First, their new look is really stunning and gives the feel of a restaurant vibe as many of the restaurants in mississauga are not well decorated inside and have dull ambiance.Customer service is excellent, they will make sure to check with you in between if you need anything else and also ensures to answer the questions if we have related to particular dish.We ordered, Kheer, Chapli kebab, Angara chicken, Balochi chicken tikka, and butter chicken with naan and puri paratha. They all were delicious and has authentic taste.Feedback:Please include goal gappas, chana chaat, pistachio kulfi, dahi baray as appetizers or under snacks section.

This was my second time at Zauq. The first time, I only had chicken karahi and reshmi kabab and it was so delicious that I brought my family back for another dinner. The food is well cooked, very moderately spiced, and their chutneys and sauces are the best! Naans are so light and fluffy, honestly the best Pakistani food we have tasted in a long time. Best of all, however, was the service. I am very impressed with the teams pleasant demeanor. If the food wasnt good (thankfully thats not the case here), I would have come back just because of their service. Great job Nawaz and Zauq team!

I was happy to be able to reserve a patio table via phone reservation same day. The décor inside was stunning and very beautiful. However, we had waited over 30 minutes for our table despite we were on time for our reservation. The wait staffs were overall very friendly, however the restaurant didnt not have any physical menus and insisted on using their QR codes which my phone cannot read. Luckily my friends were able to see the menu online but it was inconvenient for customers as its not accommodating for everyone. Food was average but the portions were a bit small considering the price they charge. Plus I requested extra spicy food which I did not get.

This place has been redone inside and out. The decor is spectacular and the food is absolutely on point. We had the beef short ribs, lamb Biryani and butter chicken. Nawaz served us and was awesome. Cant wait to come back again. 5 stars.

Our first experience dining in at Zauqs patio was wonderful. We were helped by Nawaz, along with the rest of the staff, who provided exceptional service and took care of our needs. The quality of the food, the speed at which it was served and the taste were superb.The menu has a lot of different items to choose from but our favourites were Malai Tikka Botti, Lamb Karahi, Lahori Fish, butter naan and kheer. We will definitely be returning to try out the rest of the menu.I would highly recommend trying out Zauq if you have not already.

Zauq is one of the best restaurants in mississauga. Newly renovated with amazing lay out and alot of green decor. The food is delicious its a mix of Hakka and desi. A must try dish that i will recomend is the Volcano Chicken sizzler.

I visited zauq restaurant twice and my experience kept getting worse. I liked the food on my first visit, therefore decided to go there again despite experiencing not so good customer service. But the second visit turned out to be more horrible. One of the reason can be overcrowding in the restaurant on that particular day although it is not completely justifiable. They have the habit of not getting all the orders together. They bring non veg food and let the vegetarian watch their friends eat and keep building frustration.I will never prefer to go to this restaurant again. The food that they serve is not worth so much of waiting time. They try to compensate if you complain but again not worth it.

Amazing kebabs, soft warm naan and the best Balochi chicken in town. The new decor is stunning too.We visited with our kids and were pleasantly surprised to be given crayons and a card game! Kids were squealing with delight.The service is excellent too. When Nawaz, the floor manager, learned that we are visiting from Whistler, he was kind enough to highly recommend faluda and kheer too. Loved our visit.

I have tried multiple Indian-Pakistani restaurants in the area and I must say that the food here is one of the best I have ever tasted in Canada.We ordered Hot & Sour Chicken soup, Chicken Lollipops, Karahi Chicken, Paneer Tikka Masala & Chicken Biryani with some Naans. Undoubtedly, the food was delicious and satisfying. We initially faced some issues with the customer service regarding the menu and food servings but Nawaz took good care of us in the end. I’ll definitely recommend this restaurant and I’ll also be visiting again to have a better experience.

Hands down the BEST pakistani restaurant in the GTA. For once, I was not filled with regret for going out to eat what is normally home food for us. The ambience is ridiculously stunning. Exceptional customer service. Our server Tyler was fabulous.

We have been coming to this place for many years now. Recently they did some renovations which really livened up the atmosphere. But this isnt the only new thing this place has to offer. There service is awesome too. All that stuff is awesome but the most important thing is the food. There food has definitely gotten a significant improvement. My favourite was the lahori fish.

Amazing customer service by front lady, nice place to eat, good tasting food and good prices. From Calgary, will definitely return next time Im in Mississauga!

Visited this place in the patio. They have renovated the whole place. It looks like a completely new place.Food is still amazing and there are some new additions in the menu. I tried sweet and sour chicken and it was very tasty. Volcano chicken bbq was very delicious.

I came here with my family for a night out and had an amazing experience here. The restaurant was beautiful and spacious ( very great for family photos) and the food was delicious! The staff was very warm and gracious. The manager made sure our family was good the entire time and went above and beyond to make our experience here one we wouldn’t forget. 10/10 would definitely come back :)

To the Zauq team,We are very pleased with the food. We had ordered the BBQ platters, two curries and a samosa appetizer. They were able to accommodate us for a table of 8 people. We were served mainly by Nawaz and Tim. Nawaz went above and beyond for us and treated us like we were at our own home. I would come back here with my family every single time only to be served by Nawaz. Amazing service and delicious food.

The ambience is amazing. Covid protocols in place are amazing in terms of social distancing with other tables and each having their cute section of cutlery and plates. Satisfies the craving of dressing up and going to a nice desi restaurant lol.We ordered the chargha, and man was that the skiniest and the tiniest chargha ever! We got the ribs and they were all burned. We also ordered chai and it was served in paper cups 😬.Lesson learned: food might not be the best but the ambience and the service we got makes this place worth going again. The menu items are also toddler friendly so that is a bonus!!

Went there for a Sunday breakfast plan with a friend and pleasantly surprised by the ambience and decor. Way better than a lot of the halal subcontinental eateries in the GTA. Had halwa puri combo which was nicely presented in a thaali and tasted better than the takeaway version.Service was a bit slow and haphazard at the start with a 25 minute wait for halwa puri and two waiters separately telling us it will be served in 2 minutes but with nothing arriving at our table even in the next 10 minutes.All in all, great dine-in experience and I will definitely explore more menu options there in the near future.

Went there yesterday and had a great time! Ordered the chapli kabab, beef bihari boti, tandoori chicken, nihari, and aaloo kay parathay. Everything was delicious! Authentic Pakistani flavors. The food was made fresh and served piping hot. Great service by all the staff as well. Will definitely be going there again!

Booked an event for 30 people and Nawaz did a superb job of arranging the tables together for an intimate lunch with the family. Tyler provided amazing service all while suggesting some great dishes for the family to enjoy. All in all we were highly satisfied with how the lunch went and cannot wait to be back here for the delicious food and exceptional service!

Whenever we visit GTA, Zauq is a mandatory stop. I highly recommend Zauq for the most authentic Pakistani food in GTA. Pretty much all the dishes are amazing but Nihari is my favorite.We visited after a long COVID break today and were highly impressed by the renovation and new interior designing. Each table has a unique custom made self serving station ( See the photo). Mr. Ali ( the owner) seems genuinely passionate to provide the best services and atmosphere!!

Amazing food! Awesome ambience!! Courteous service!!!We had food catered from Zauq many times but this was my first visit to the restaurant in Mississauga. They recently renovated inside the restaurant and i must say it looks stunning. Very clean and spaced out. Unfortunately we didnt get to eat inside because it is by reservation only.We ate outside in the tent which was a bit odd because of the cars going by. felt like sitting in a drive through but i understand limitations due to Covid.The BBQ plater was yummy, some of the kababs were a bit more spicy but overall really good. Volcano chicken was really awesome! my kids loved the chowmin. Will definitely go back!

Aman and Tyler were super nice to us. We had a great time and the ambiance was just amazing.

The overall appearance of the restaurant is beautiful. However, the food and service that was provided did not meet my expectations. First, our food was served to us before our tea which took a very long time. The tea was given in a very small paper cup, half empty. The food that we got was in very small portions and it was very expensive. The beef Hakka that we got was very hard steal, it felt like we were chewing on cardboard. The half empty tea was charged $3 which made no sense. When we told the server our concerns about the tea she disregarded and did not care. I do not recommend eating at this restaurant.

Yesterday, I visited the restaurant and the experience was fabulous! The food was tasty. The waiting time was reasonable and the staff were friendly. One of the staff member I would like to appreciate is Nawaz. He was a friendly and a diligent worker. He made sure that we got the best experience possible. Chicken Pakora and chicken seekh kebabs were really good; lahori fish was kind of bland. The chicken noodles with egg were good. A little pricey compared to similar restaurants that offer similar dishes. Go for the lunch special they offer.Food and naan was very fresh!

Visited for the first time. Had great food with amazing desert. Must try their Kheer. Food presentation was superb.

Very nice environment. The food is delicious. The Lollipop Chicken was our absolute favourite. Even my 1 year old loves it. Environment is clean and elegant. I wish they had Dine in the their outstanding building.

We loved this place yummy food and beautiful ambiance and helped friendly staff. Visiting Toronto for the first time and this place came up in Google search. It was close to our hotel so thought why not try this Rather than driving far. It was s a week day and closing time was 9 we reached there 8 30 and the person at the front desk ask us about if we have reservation we told him no he said give him few minutes he came back shortly and directed us to our table. Server came to us and took our order. It was really nice clean place with beautiful decorations very impressed. Loved the food so much prices are very good and the portions size was very generous. Living in BC we dont get that kinda service and food felt so good so ask the staff they should come to Vancouver. Highly recommend this place

I am from Ottawa and someone suggested me ZAUQ restaurant. Food, Décor, Service, Staff and Ambience was top of the Line.Super Duper Delicious Food. Finger Licking good. Biryani, Angara Chicken, Karahi lamb oh my god best of the best Food. Most importantly that Fish Tikka was phenomenal Great Job Team Zauq

What an awesome experience. A rather friendly staff, lead by Nawaz and a unique decor to help set the stage. The food is both cultural and striving for new. We ate a mix of Pakistani BBQ and Hakka.I would highly recommend this spot for all family and those looking to have a great evening.

Such a beautiful atmosphere and the restaurant’s decor is so well thought out and really aesthetic! A very elegant forest theme with great details. The service was also amazing and the servers were kind and met all of our needs. Food was very flavourful and came to us hot. Will come again!

Food and service are great. On our last visit there was a mishap where another table took a cake that we brought but the staff more than made up for it which was very appreciated. In addition, the decor of the restaurant is probably the best I’ve seen for a Pakistani restaurant in a long time.

Went here for my husbands birthday. The staff was very cooperative and the food was amazing. We ordered chicken makhni karhai and mutton karhai which were both phenomenal. Also a big shout out to Nawaz and team for the best service as always.

Had an excellent dine-in experience at the restaurant. We had a party of 13 which was well taken care of by our server, Aman. Great food and exceptional service. One of the best experiences I’ve had at a restaurant!The waiters were at your service right away making sure all of your needs were met. The food was delicious all around a 10/10. The decor was eye catching and loved the atmosphere. Definitely a place to recommend for everyone to try.
