The worst Thai food in England... management might as well be a mickey mouse club and specifically the Abbeville Rd restaurant.. absolute dirt in a box. Frozen chicken nothing fresh.. run a mile people and beware of the paid for reviews..

Gorgeous gorgeous food. However, a bit pricey and I certainly don’t expect it to arrive like it has been swung around all the way to my house! Food was all over in the bag and as a result sauces were inedible.

These guys r absolute joke. I never had have so bad Singapore noodles in my life. And on top of that there wes no cutlery as i requested. Perfect diner, thank off Camile. Best hopes for bankruptcy.

Mixed review. We had a takeaway yesterday. The delivery was quick-ish, packaging cute, taste good. BUT the beef in the stir-fry was so chewy (rumpsteak or a lower quality meat) you could chew 5 min and still have to swallow it whole. Sadly it had to go in the bin. My friends prawn curry was good.

Ordered via the website and choose the option to collect. When I went to collect, I was told, in rude terms, I didn’t order. Showed the confirmation, to which the guy behind the counter shouted something at the chef and they started preparing the order. I said I’ll wait outside, to be covid compliant. Spent 15 minutes out in the cold looking from outside in, with common sense suggesting I’d be called in when they are ready. After 15 minutes no one was cooking in the kitchen, went in and waited for 3-4 more minutes until the phone rang and the same guy appeared to answer the phone, at the same time handing my order which was ready and waiting for me (no one even waved from inside to suggest my order was ready). Awful, and I can’t stress this enough, awful customer service. Plenty of other good restaurants nearby, so my suggestion is not to waste your time with them. Food was not bad, but that’s about it.

Amending review: tonight we had one of the best Thai deliveries weve enjoyed. Everything piping hot and cooked to perfection. Generous meat portions and all very fresh. Despite one previous bad experience, faith is restored by Camille. Excellent.

Wonderful clean tasting and delicious Thai food that’s delivered amazingly quickly in compostable packing. Ignore the useless whingers below who can barely write English, let alone judge whats authentic Thai food and what’s not. It also gets the thumbs up from my girlfriend who grew up in Thailand! We have been repeatedly disappointed by takeaways of late. So was pleasantly surprised when the food arrived impeccably presented (nice someone made an effort now we cant go anywhere). The food was fresh, generously portioned and tasty. I had the crispy beef, was excellent. Recommend.

Since moving out of elephant and castle 8 years ago I’ve struggled to find a really decent Thai place. Took a punt and ordered through Deliveroo and it was one of the best meals I’ve had in ages!Great vegan options, gorgeously fresh with lots of flavour and spicy dishes are actually spicy. If I lived a little closer I’d probably come and eat here nightly.

This is probably the worst customer experience I have ever had.We ordered through Deliveroo, and half the order was missing. This wasnt great, but we understand that these things happen when restaurants get busy.However our treatment over the next hour was nothing short of awful. The staff at the restaurant refused to help us, promising to ring us back and failing to do so. 45 mins later we tried again, and over the course of 2 or 3 phone calls we were not helped but instead hung up on. Well over an hour after we had received (half) our order, we were told that they were too busy to help now and that we could arrange to order some complimentary food the next day. This was of no use to us because we were spending lockdown in different locations. Having tried to explain this, we were again hung up on. This sort of spoiled our evening.However, we were really grateful to the member of staff at the Tooting Branch, who was unable to help us with getting food but instead clearly and politely explained what was and wasnt possible, and what might help. If I order from this chain again, itll be from them!

Sadly the food weve received ok the last two occasions havent met their usual high standards.Im assuming theyre trying to meet higher demand and thats dropped the quality significantly.Twice we have received food we would have sent back to the kitchen. The last one mixed tofu dish with chicken (we checked the receipt to confirm the mistake wasnt on our side); shame.

Mixed experience. Some dishes were lovely, others were lacking. I had to throw away a whole side dish today because it was just half rotten kale. I tried to pick out the rotten pieces but there was too much. Theyre close to being great but its very disappointed to have to waste money and throw away food.

Great Thai food with Healthy options.I had the Bonneville prime, which was a Pad Thai with some Crispy Kale on top. Delicious food and generous portions.I understand from the very friendly manager that some of the sales proceeds go to Bonneville Primary School (hence the name!). Really good to see this kind of community engagement.

Great service. We get delivery from here regularly and the food is good and it is always fast. Recently we made a mistake and ordered a non-vegan dish when we wanted the vegan one and they sent a driver with replacement for, free of charge, as soon as we called them.

Fantastic takeaway. Very friendly delivery person from Camile. Beautiful packaging. Food kept fresh and hot, and very tasty. We ordered on Valentine’s Day and they included a little box filled with Valentine’s treats - such a sweet touch! Have ordered from Camile twice now and will continue to do so!

They messed up my order, I didnt realise until I got home, drove back & waited for the correct order & got no kind of apology. Just had to wait. The food wasnt bad considering it was half cold by the time I got to eat it.

The food is always excellent and eating in is quick and efficient, but the takeaway service isn’t great. We’ve ordered takeaway many times both online and over the phone and it’s often late and sometimes incorrect. It’s such a shame as the food is delicious, but it’s not cheap and having to wait for ages for your food and for it to be wrong really let’s the place down.

Somehow the potatoes and rice we ordered disappeared from the delivery. Rest of the food was great but no carbs no party.

Had a fantastic meal with two neighbours of mine. We had a green chicken curry , a duck dish and a prawn noodle curry & some vegetables. Everything was so tasty and carefully spiced. Absolutely loved it and we all definitely would come back. Last but not least it the atmosphere was cosy & comfortable although we were the only ones ( which is not surprising as its last Sunday before christmas) and the service was super friendly & efficient. We all will be back without a doubt!

Camille is an amazing restaurant! It is right near my house and I come here often. The staff are always fantastic and the food is amazing and so cheap! :)3.5 stars is far too low I am shocked! Any 1 or 2 star reviews are very unjustified

The food we ate was delicious and healthy, with authentic levels of spicing. we enjoyed it a lot. The service was also wonderful and friendly. However I am marking it down to the crazy amounts of waste that we encountered. We were dining in and were served in boxes with plastic lids, dressings in plastic pots with lids, plastic knives, plastic cups, with lids and straws. When delivering food there are now alternatives, although it is understandable that plastic may need to be used. But when dining in at a restaurant i think this level of waste is unacceptable in this day and age.

Great food and generous portions, the lunchtime deal is great. A very small and cosy place with a open kitchen, you can see the chefs prepare the food, nice addition to Clapham.

Horrible food, disgusting taste and it wasn’t fresh. They mix nuts with pasta and tell lies as they said it was nice but it tasted like food that had been off for week. Will never come here again, what a waste of money!

Abbeville Villages latest culinary chain, will it thrive?food was good and came on time but there was confusion as to what it was halal and what wasnt, my pork eating wife had to taste test most things to make sure I was good.

Food was ready within maybe less than ten minutes which was at first a bit unnerving but on eating, it was great stuff; vegetables were crisp and fresh, food was cooked well.They had run out of Turkey but I asked if the order I wanted could be made with chicken and they were happy to oblige.Expect to pay £9-£10 per main meal though. (Im not from London so this seemed pretty expensive to me)Would say dont expect food to be as quick as mine as I timed my visit with a world cup match (England).

Went for lunch today and really impressed with food and service! The £6 lunch deal was excellent value, big portion with rice included, the green curry had a good amount of heat but not too much for my three year old, and the vegan pad Thai was great, I normally order chicken pad Thai but it the authentic flavours made me forget it was missing chicken! The staff were very friendly, despite my messy toddlers! I wish this place was open when I was a stay at home mum a few years back, a great little casual spot for a bargain lunch!

Ordered a prawn curry and kalamari for starter, instead I received chicken curry and no wasabi mayo for the kalamari. Called up the restaurant and told them about it, they said I should call deliveroo. I told them I already reported the missing items and that they were only going to refund me at best. And that was the end of it, I ended up without the dinner I ordered, wont make that mistake again.

Far from authentic street food! Spring rolls were greasey chicken wings under cooked with no seasoning. Pad Kaprow gai stir fry was bland. Poor service Poor food

Over rated, overpriced and poor quality dishes. Save your money and go somewhere else. Veg Pad Thai had only a few vegetables, manager and customer care could care less to solve problems. This is in reference to the Battersea location.

We were not impressed, especially for the money (£40 later). Rice paper rolls were dry and the rice paper was stiff and crumbly. The beef in the salad was extremely dry and tough - I almost struggled to swallow it - and the actual salad was soggy and limp. Curry lacked flavour. The duck springs rolls were the only item that reached restaurant standards. Camile Thai in Clapham is new so perhaps some teething problems?

Just finished our second order from Camile Thai and it was as delicious as last time! Really appreciate finally having a Deliveroo option that offers gluten and dairy free items in my area (up till now I could only order egg fried rice 🙄). The curries are pure comfort food! We really like the delivery packaging too. Everything arrives hot and we dont end up with a load of plastic containers. The only thing that would make Camile better is if they could make the Massaman Curry gluten free too as its my favourite. That being said, I highly recommend the Red Curry with Duck. Well definitely be ordering again.

£45 for a mixed platter (disappointing and nothing like the photograph) and two stir fries made it an expensive meal. Undercooked onions in the stir fry made it almost inedible. A huge amount of wasteful packaging. Very overpriced and wouldnt visit again when there are so many restaurants in Abbeville Village offering better food and at a better price

Weve just received one of the worst meals weve had in years from this place. The starter was very poor for the price, but the two curries were so salty we couldnt actually eat much more than a few bites of them. Mine seemed to have a strange powder at the bottom which suggested it came from a packet.We ordered on Deliveroo so cannot attest to the quality in the restaurant, but I would strongly suggest against ordering if what we received is anything to go by in terms of quality.

Foods fresh and tastey, most of the menu is worth a try and bottomless lemonades are a nice touch. Would be a 4 star if the interior had some atmosphere and it was cleaner

Now that the good stuff is out of the way, lets get to it:Had a pad thai and the special fried rice and I have to say it was one of the worst food experiences I’ve had a in a long time. Everything was super bland (where was the sauce?), shrimp were super overcooked, so was chicken, noodles were mushy , etcThe place was more like a Deliveroo kitchen than an actual restaurant :(.Always cool to see new restaurants coming to our neighborhood but, unfortunately, I don’t think this one is going to last

Just finished my takeaway and felt compelled to comment about it. The experience didn’t start well as we were forced to wait over half an hour in the store to pickup our order. I understand restaurants get busy and waiting times are extended. But if that’s the case I think it’s fair and polite to warn the customer at the time of ordering.Our order of chilli chicken came in a box that appeared much smaller that normal. The majority of the vegetables inside were onion. Surprise surprise, and I needed a minifying glass to locate the chicken. 3/10 for value on that one.Pad Thai completely lacked flavour. I’m no chef but just looking at the noodles it was easy to see they were crying out for some sort of sauce.The kitchen looked a shambles. Very disappointing from go to wo.

Excellent new eatery in the area. We had dinner yesterday delivered and food was amazing.

We were so excited when we saw that a Thai restaurant was coming to our neighbourhood; but so disappointed when it opened to find that the bulk of their business is based on take alway food rather than dining in. What is even more disappointing is that there are tables that one can eat their takeaway food at but it is served in mountains of non recyclable boxes and plastic containers with plastic straws, cutlery etc. Not acceptable in 2018. I can’t imagine why they chose such a central and expensive venue only to make it one enormous kitchen with no proper dining experience. In a nutshell it is kind of the ‘McDonalds’ of Thai food, albeit the food tastes very nice indeed, and is probably a lot more healthy. If this quality food was being served with table service and included a waiter to take your order and deliver the food to the table, this would do an awful lot better than its current offering which is basically a fast food outlet positioned in a neighbourhood that love to dine out. I will give this rating just two stars because the food is delicious. However the rest of the package is enormously disappointing.

The veggie green curry was tasty and i enjoyed a vast range of rice options. But i think it is over priced for the portion size.

Absolutely terrible vegan Pad Thai. No flavour at all and priced at £10.95. I am offended! Just mushy noodles with a couple of pieces of soggy broccoli and some old grey mushrooms. My housemate, who cant even chop up a leek without having to Google it, could do a better job. I am giving one star to the employees in the restaurant who were friendly.
