Chinatown boasts buildings and streets decorated with Chinese symbols such as dragons and lanterns. Keep an eye out for street signs, which are written in English and Chinese.Find stone lions, contemporary art sculptures and Chinese gates as you explore the area, and don’t miss Chinatown’s fourth gate on Wardour Street. Completed in 2016 and built in traditional Qing dynasty style, it is the largest Chinese gate in the country. All these impressive decorations make perfect photo opportunities and give an insight into Chinese culture and religion, particularly during seasonal celebrations.
Such a fantastic icon and a brilliant place to be with an exciting vibe.Cobbled streets made it hard for him to push me and an uncomfortable ride in the wheelchair, unfortunately the smooth pavements outside shops had queues of customers trying to buy or get a table.Street signs like every other tourist place reminds people to be mindful of their possessions.Hundreds of places to eat, all streets decorated with lanterns and loads of bright colours, absolutely stunning.
I wish the restaurants were open, but no not yet,it was nice to see people getting take out the ques for some shops were long, but not all of them had ques, the super markets were open, cake and bakery shops open too,all the shop toilets were closed but public toilets in Leicester Square are open but charge 50p, the next public toilets are at trafalgar Square in the middle by benches, McDonalds toilets not open by the way. Everyones getting their shops ready to open, cant wait 🤩.

Chinatown is one of the most happening places in London. Placed in the Soho area, when you come here for the first time you will feel like you have come to another world itself. Filled with plenty of super awesome Chinese restaurants which serve some delicious authentic Chinese food. From chicken, duck, beef you ask it and get it. Always filled with people walking and taking pics, this is the best place to come as a travelor to explore this exciting world of its own ! So do visit and enjoy 👍
The snell of all the amazing restaurants are amazing. The m and m works and lego shop are always fun to walk into. Overall, I had fun with my friend

Loved all the hanging lanterns. Was not to busy as there were few tourists.
Always a good place to visit, pass through and enjoy a different culture in such little area of London...
I visited this place at right time when they were celebrating their New Year. Awesome place for Chinese food. You will not feel like you are in London. This place is not that big so you can walk around. You will find many small Chinese restaurant where you can enjoy Chinese food. The cost for 2 can go from 15 pounds to 30 pounds depends on you. Minimum single item will cost you starting from 5 pound. There are some restaurant where they have buffet system you can try that to test many dishes for around 13 pounds. You can spend some time walking around this area. I have attached some pics for reference
Long time since I have been there to he food was great
We just walked down the main street through the Gate into Chinatown. The streets were lined with a myriad of restaurants and shops. Quite a lot of options available. The streets were lined with lanterns to give it a festive feeling. There were also quite a few entertainers on the streets. I also noticed a few interesting things on the side of buildings like a lion. Interesting place to visit even if we were just passing through.
Chinatown in ENGLAND like in every where on the earth looks copy paste 😂 I respect those people keeping history I love to travel to China specifically Guangdong at South visiting Guangzhou fuchan chinzin.. I been amazed and still 🙏🏾
Is pretty crowded most of the time , but has a lovely feel to it
Such an amazing vibrant place in the centre of London with loads of amazing authentic Chinese restaurants. The food smells exquisite and tastes even better. Definitly a favourite place of mine to visit.
Right at the heart of West end and with so many options to eat and have fun
Very vibrant especially at night. Lots of places to eat and drink
Its an amazing opening/walk through of china town as it is a replica of the actual china gate.
An impressive structure situated in a vibrant place. At certain points you can forget your in London!
This is Chinatown. Its pretty different from the other parts of London. Lot of Chinese shops. I spotted a couple of Japanese named restaurants as well. Lot of restaurants here have duck. I believe its Peking duck, but I didnt check with the restaurant.
Very nice place. Loads to see and try different foods.
So many restaurants! Also theres 3 different supermarkets, so bring some bags with you. Lots of frozen dumplings, instant noodles and cooking sauces.Very busy on a Saturday evening, so be prepared for that.
Beautiful place. Is very nice to walk around
Looking amazing
This is one of my favourite places in London. Here in Chinatown London you can really feel the meaning of an ethnic enclave. The remarkable Chinatown Gate is beautiful and worth of taking a selfie. You will find a lot of authentic Chinese restaurants and super markets here where you can taste all the typical and special Chinese dishes.I am also very fond of the little Chinese statues found in this area (depicting a lion for example) and the lanters, which are hanging all over the streets. So to make it short: If you want to experience a piece of China here in Europe and explore the largest Chinatown in this continent then hit this place while you are visiting London.
Great place and vibe here. Always worth a visit when your in London. Food is amazing as well
I had a feeling I was in China for a moment there. Its really great.

Your first stop for Londons Chinatown: find authentic restaurants, fun activities, shops and more.Chinatown is an ethnic enclave in the City of Westminster, London, bordering Soho to its north and west, Theatreland to the south and east. The enclave currently occupies the area in and around Gerrard Street#LVPMoment✔️
Chinatown is my favourite spot in London. It’s always full of buskers and you can spend a beautiful day while enjoying a delicious Asian dish.
Nice place. Lots of Asian restaurants, shops. Enjoyed the time spent there.
Great Instagramable location of Chinatown Gate, nice place to eat, and socialise.
East Asians who come to other countries and long for their hometown can feel a little nostalgic of their hometown.
Beautiful place❤️
Nice China Town, a bit small however
Vibrant Chinese Community is London. Thumbs up especially to Wan Chai Corner. Great service, great food and reasonable prices. Highly recommended when you are in London
Great place to enjoy Chinese food. Have wide range of Chinese food shops and grocery shops.
Chinatown in London...Food lovers paradise...Lots to see and plenty of quality food to eat.
An absolute dream if you like Asian food.
Looks cool but there is loads of rubbish lying around
If you are visiting London you need to visit Chinatown. You will find all kinds of Asian restaurants, some of those are fancy and some are simple and in a good range of prices. Or you can just walk in this area and enjoy the colorful places and the decoration in the streets. It is not too crawded if you visit early in the morning.
The coolest photo on my insta ngl
I really loved China Town even though I did not spend much time there. The atmosphere was unique.
China Town beautifully decorated visited near Picadilly Circus. Visitors enjoying the area with relaxing and having food and hot or cold drinks in open areas/ out side of the restaurants.
Lovely place well worth a visit
Pretty place colored in its own way that changes with the London streets, we have the choice between all the Chinese restaurants that are offered to us at every step in Chinatown. We did the tour in 5 minutes but its still nice to go there!
Worth checking out if youve never seen a China Town gate
Good vibe in central london good choice of restaurants
Grab some of those little Takis filled with custard cream. buy some pandan cake and walk in the atmosphere. Not to be missed if you come passed Leicester Square!
Great place to visit, so much to see, do , eat and enjoy...in heart of central london between leicester square and soho
The China Town neighbourhood in London, is a perfect place if you look for Chinese food or asiatic stuff. You can actually feel like in Asia and everything around you reminds something of Beijing. China Town is very close to other important and very central neighbourhoods.
Wasnt quite what i expecred but was still good
Nice place to visit but lots of people who were not following covid rules
