I had been in London for only 8 days and was already craving good Indian food. That is when I came across this restaurant. The first time visited here, I ordered Channa Masala and Chicken Tikka Masala with Tandoori Rotis. The food was heavenly, just like the Indian Dhabha style food should taste.I visited the place again and ordered Chicken Biryani this time which was definitely disappointing. The next time I visited, I ordered jeera aloo which was good again.A must visit place if you are looking for some good Indian food. The guy at the reception wasnt that welcoming the first time I visited, but then he saw me coming back again and again, so he was more polite later.

Its Ok. A bit worn-out looking from the point of view of the tattered menu and slow-paced service. The food falls somewhere between average to good quality. I found it a bit bland. They should try to update the place and catch up with current expectations by offering more options for vegan/health-conscious types.

Really nice food.Paneer tikka in starters is too delicious 👌Tandoori naan is really crispy and nice. All dishes are freshly made and served. They have mango chutney which is super delicious. The only sad part was waiting times. First waiting time for tables then waiting time for starters then another amount of time for main dishes. And if you plan to order something later eg salads or more breads then it will never arrive 😂But still the manager made it clear about waiting times well in advance which clears anything wrong on their side.If you have good amount of time then this is worth trying place for indian food.

Friendly service and lovely food very close to Paddington Station. Reasonably priced too. I had Palak Paneer as a main. It’s kind of my litmus test: some restaurants do it well, whereas in others it’s bland. The paneer was firm and plentiful and the spinach well spiced. Garlic naan was tasty with heaps of garlic and there was cobra on tap! The three lads on tonight were friendly and the food came quickly. Perfect. Thanks.

Food here is very good. Clearly an issue with staff numbers on the day we arrived but they dealt with it well. Fair play to the young guy at front of house who seemed to be doing everything, possibly except actually cooking the food. Always busy so worth booking. Spiral staircase inside is fantastic, selfie opportunities outside with the life sized figure. A great find.

A) Customer service and the presentation of staff is really unprofessional and inappropriate - Would you expect to be greeted and served by a staff in a tucked out casual t-shirt for a restaurant that prides on providing Flavors Of India? B) Secondly, this is UK and in British English its Flavours instead of Flavors.C) The food is so-so and aint worth the price.D) Papaddi Chaat was overwhelmed with yoghurt and had a few key ingredients missing.E) Pappadam and kebab/starters were served without any chutneys. Yeah, the expect you to pay for each chutneys that you want. Other Indian restaurants provide the chutneys with the starters and its a good healthy amount.F) There are other dozens and dozens of much better Indian restaurants in London so dont sweat yourself to have Flavors Of India

Horrible place. Unprofessional service and bad attitude. Very dirty kitchen next to toilets. Watch out. I wish I could give 0 stars. The place has a max capacity of 20 people but still the servers couldnt serve. Too confused and harsh to customers. A customer next to me verbally fought with a server and warned him to be respectful. He even took it the manager and surprisingly the manager was even worse in his attitude. Basically, bunch was inexperienced people running this business who have no idea about food, quality and customer service.

Called in with some work colleagues as the smells were amazing, as we walked passed. Alas, this was the highlight of the evening. I ordered tandoori chicken, when it arrived two of the four pieces of chicken were raw inside. When the table was cleared, my plate was studiously ignored and no eye contract made with me. When I asked for the bill I pointed out my chicken was raw. I was then amazed by the response. A begrudgingly given sorry, followed by ‘you should have told me and I would have got something else for you’. Call me stupid but the last thing I want is more food here. When I informed them I wouldn’t be paying for my dish, I was given further attitude. I’d avoid here at all costs.

We were here in 2012 and really liked the food, so we came back this year with a business colleague. Unfortunately, this time was terrible: we had to wait for 20 minutes before our order was taken. After an hour, one of three persons received the food (albeit the wrong curry, as we figured out later). When the waiter asked whether everything was okay, we had to make him aware that the other two of us were still waiting for the food. So he took the curry on the table back (to keep it warm) and we had to wait for another 15 minutes before we finally got all the food (including the right curry this time). When we wanted to pay, it wasnt possible to split the bill according to what each person had, so we split it equally. On the bill, we were charged a service fee (for this terrible service!), a more expensive curry than initially ordered. Once we left, we also noted that the waiter split the bill not accurately (each of us paid 1/3) as when adding up our payments, it was more than the receipt stated. So: Never again! The only good thing was the food, which we liked.

Last weekend we had the absolute DISpleasure of visiting this Indian restaurant. Upon first impressions all was good, the restaurant was clean, tidy and relatively quiet - not something that is easily discovered in London. We were ushered to our table and ordered our food - so far so good - our poppadoms arrived. 3 minutes later so did the starters. 5 minutes later so did the mains. We had been almost instantly piled with enough food to feed the 5000 (baring in mind there was two of us) which could have easily been eaten as separate courses, as advised. However, in a bit of a fluster we began to cram the food into our faces faster than buzz lightyear can fly and were suddenly hit with the spice, the food here is really spicy, really really spicy. So leaving almost half our main courses due to eating too fast and out mouths giving off heat like a bonfire we paid, and left. It wasn’t until the next morning that the decision to eat here would REALLY haunt me.Early the next morning, approx 7am, I had the feeling. The ‘my stomach doesn’t feel so good’ feeling. Barely making it to the toilet I was forced to endure an uncontrollable volcanic eruption from my behind that lasted at least 30 minutes. Pretty intense right? This happened a total of five times throughout the following 48 hours, each one slightly more solid than the last, until finally the curry was gone. And what made it worse? No extractor fan or functioning window in the apartment we were staying in resulting in an early morning trek to the shop for my boyfriend to get an air freshener and some paracetamol

Cannot recommend. Food took over an hour to get. What upset me was how the “chicken” based meal we ordered was really 70 percent chopped eggs and only 30 percent chicken. It was like they ran out of chicken and tried to cover it up. In fact, eggs was not even mentioned in the description. Staff was friendly and the taste was alright I guess. Ordered three meals but ended up paying for only two.

We came here because it was walking distance to where we were staying and my daughter loves Indian food.I would say that the venue is rather plain by other ethnic restaurant standards, particularly in the West Country. Service was not that great. I would strongly recommend the staff and management of this place to be a little more cheerful (service with a smile?) with their customers and not to take them for granted just because of your location. Little details like the warm servilletes to wipe oneself after the meal were sadly missing. One positive thing I would say about this place is that they do offer a large choice of vegetarian/vegan items on their menu. Priced reasonable.

We went to flavors of India in paddington after reading some of the reviews online we were there for new years eve and I must say the service was terrible. We ordered drinks , wine etc from the menu initially but the manager kept coming over after every little while asking us to place the orders. We were a group of 5 and it being new years eve we were told kitchen will close by 10pm. Which wasnt true as we did notice customers visiting after 10.30 pm . The restaurant was not too busy... I am sure no one likes if you are being rushed not when you are spending good amount of money in the restaurant. Any way we ordered food and the quality was not all that. I have been to many Indian restaurants and know the difference between good food to a food that is bland. This one was not even close to what Indian food would normally taste like. Very disappointed with the service specially when you notice the restaurant manager coming over to you insisting you to place the order.. will never visit again and will also forward the word to friends .

Worst service I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Ordered a jug of water 2 mango lasi’s and 2 pints of beer. Took 20 mins for the mango lasi’s, 30 mins and about 4 reminders for the beers, only for them to come as half pints. Ordered popadoms with all the dips, then arrived with 2 small ones. When I asked where the rest were, I was angrily told they’d ran out, why they never thought to mention I don’t know. So 4/6 popadoms were eaten dry. Food came, was okay, nothing special but definitely not bad. Then when I asked to take the service charge off the bill, I was rudely told it was my fault for it being busy.

Awful. The Tiger prawns was the size of shrimps, and they were tough as skin. The waitor did not know what Madras was, and my dish was NOT Madras. In all, the food was under par. The music was clearly an amateur with a cheap keyboard. Almost empty reastaurant, which should have given me a clue...
