Pre theatre dinner at this unassuming but very nice Indian restaurant. The set menu included appetizers, a main course, and ice cream for a very reasonable price. The food was delicious and very ample. We added garlic naan and ice cold Cobra beer. Perfect.

Im not a connoisseur of Indian food, but everything was delicious. A group of 5 of us shared around 10 small plates, all recommended by the waiter (based on our sissy no-spicy-food palates). It was fun and delicious. Really nice staff. Try the Indian beer!

Lovely food and prompt service. However the experience was ruined by the staff being rude and pushing for a tip. Started with them whispering.... service not included in the bill as they have me the bill, then they asked ME to read the price on the bill so they could type in the card machine - a hint to add a tip on my card, then as they took the till receipt wallet away, there was a blatant opening of the wallet and checking to see if there was any hard cash in the wallet. I normally leave tips but by this point I chose not to and doubt I will be back!

Came here at around 10:30PM when it’s advertised to close at 12AM.My partner asked for a poppadom to which she was ignored and we were told to hurry up and order from the main menu so that they could see us off as quickly as possible. We had 2 awfully rude front of house servers that disgusted us so much we got up and left before ordering our food, regardless of how nice the food is I would never fill their pockets with my hard earned money.Avoid at all costs - I’d recommend the Delhi Brasserie in Soho!

Nice traditional Indian restaurant serving nice food. Everything is clean and tidy with friendly staff. Have been twice and would recommend. If you are looking for a contemporary feel with a trendy fusion type menu this isnt for you. But for a proper traditional curry you cant fault it.

Cold and rude staff and services and food was not good at all the thali had such tasteless sabjis and butter paneer masala I had in Bhatti is one of the most disgusting dish I ever had anywhere. Enjoying the 3 course indian pre-theatre banquetIt was the price that pulled me in only £10.95. But it was brilliant. The lentil soup was hot and had a refreshing lemon flavour. I didnt need a knife for the lamb curry it fell apart on my fork. The vanilla ice cream was as expected.Service was quick and attentive.Would definitely return, and would recommend this exact menu.

A dont-go-there-even-if-youre-hungry restaurant; according to the servers there, asking for a cup of tea is a crime. As if tea was what they were offering us anyway; the fact that the server himself implied that they dont offer proper masala chai (a basic drink any half-decent joint could concoct) tells you enough you need know about the restaurant. Realising that if a paid employee doesnt have faith in the stuff coming out of the kitchen theres no hope, we decided to leave. While proceeding to leave the empty restaurant (I dont want to waste my money making my own tea at the table), the waiter then decided to tell us to get out of the restaurant and that you shouldnt be coming to a restaurant to drink tea!!A horrendous experience and DEFINITELY do not go here - Holborn is filled with FAR better stuff.

Hi Team,Good morning!Yesterday was my first visit to the restaurant and possibly the most rude experience of a lifetime so far.I cane in with a friend of mine, precisely two young ladies for dinner around 6:15 pm. The staff was so rude while they made us sit to taking the order and the icing on the cake was when we finished our food and paid the bill and were chatting only to be asked when are we leaving the half empty restaurant as they said they needed our table. The overall experience was extremely unwelcoming and we would never suggest this restaurant to anyone given the behaviour of the staff. The food was also below average, paneer butter masala without a bowl would just run in our plates as it was so watery.I hope this is being looked into and the appropriate measures taken to improve a restaurant. Thanks,Saloni

We were searching for an Indian restaurant in London, because we were here on vacation and did not want to miss our favourite kind of food. The waiters were more than unpolite, they did not ask for our opinion on what they have served, we have ordered a mild meal and received one that seemed to be extra spicy. The chicken was served cold, without any sauces, vegetables or herbs and the rice was cold and loveless. The vegetarian menu included only deep-frozen beans etc and tasted stale. When we finished our unenjoyable meal, we were treated like children and judged by the waiter.I cannot recommend this restaurant and if we are coming back to London, I can say:Never again!!!

Very nice restuarant with pleasant staff and considering it was in Covent garden was very reasonable prices. We had mushroom pilau which was very tasty and the pilau had visible mushrooms rather than the usual speck of mushrooms, onion bhaji was very tasty and the chicken dansak had lots of very large tender chunks of chicken, this was our first visit but will certainly return next time am in London.

I visited this restaurant in April with my Mum and Sister and our experience was not too great. My sister ordered a prawn curry and the prawns were definitely not cooked properly, because they were overly chewy and disgusting. After we made a complaint about it, they did not try to rectify the issue and done absolutely nothing and still charged us full price! Not to mention that they charged me around £2.50 for a glass of water! Im surprised they didnt charge us to use the toilets!

My favorite is afgani kebab, bhatti special starter and paneer tikka masala. The food reminds me of food from Delhi ( hometown) and is very punjabi in flavors. Adding to all the good stuff and food orgasm is that the place is in the heart of covent garden easy to reach, what more can you ask for??? Everytime I go to central London for desi food, I cant help but go eat at Bhatti.PS: From the dessert menu, gulab jamun is the best
