Fantastic! We were hungry, the kind that can only be fulfilled by an authentic Indian meal, and the restaurant lived up to its name, adding a zing to everything we ordered.Rahul was a superb host, not only did he make sure we were comfortable, he understood our requirements - dietary & taste (nothing short of authentic), recommended dishes & delivered a fabulous food experience with his team.My wife and I both enjoyed the food & dining experience and will be back here soon for some more appetising meals.RECOMMEND!

We went for a dinner at Indian Zing and they have some unique and delicious dishes with some nice twists to traditional Indian food. Being vegetarian we did find enough options to try and food had unique flavours even in the usual dishes. They also provided wonderful birthday surprise to us. Worth a visit if you are looking for some amazing Indian dishes.

Amazing dining experience. Went here yesterday after many years and hence amazed that the quality has been maintained consistently all these years without cutting any corners. All dishes are authentic Indian and each one has its own authentic unique taste and flavour. Its one of those places that you go once and want to definitely go again with full confidence.

Authentic Indian food in a nice setting. Dishes are rated by number of chillies. We opted for the one chilli rating which we considered would be about half way up the chilli rating. Slightly hot for us initially but we eased into it once wed become accustomed! Chicken dish and duck dish were both lovely and good value for money.

Weve always been fans of the food here - we first ate here in 2007. A great mix of traditional and fusion. DONT go here if you want a cheap balti dish. DO go here if you appreciate fine cooking and great flavours. DO go here if you want to see a distinctly different flavour and taste for different dishes. Kudos to the owner and chef Manoj Vasaikar and huge appreciation for the very capable manager Rahul Kulkarni.

The food is extremely tasty. The chef really knows how to manipulate the various spices to bring all the taste from the food. When I say spice I dont mean spicy: I took the Kerala fish stew (advertised with one level of spice) and it was perfect for me who dont enjoy overlyspiced food. The rice was nice and the naan bread the best Ive ever eaten. The mango lassi was amazing. Service was quite quick. The place is a bit pricey but quite understandable given the quality of food.

What a hidden gem! My partner and I ate here for the first time in November 2020 and we were amazed at the flavour and quality of the food! Everything we had was beautifully presented and full of flavour (the goats cheese tikki was fantastic!). The staff were attentive and the service was very efficient - we couldnt finish our mains so we had it packed up to take home with us. All in all a fantastic dinner at a very reasonable price of £45 per head including starters and a bottle of wine. We will definitely be ordering take out during the upcoming lockdown. We have lived in London for 3 years and this is the best Indian food we have come across - we highly recommend you try it!

This is a really good Indian restaurant and well worth travelling for. It is more expensive than usual (we spent £47 per head but ate a lot) but the food, service and decor are so much better than usual that its worth it. Service on a busy Saturday night was a bit slow and we would have drunk more if our orders had been taken but overall really good. Much lighter, less sauce and fresher tasting that most. Go!

Lovely cosy interiors, interesting menu but sadly the cooking was unremarkable. Avoid their hugely overpriced biryani - it’s more like baked pilao rice. Not at all authentic nor tasty. And they shouldn’t have a write up for an otherwise unremarkable wine list. Need to bring the “zing” back to their cooking.

Great value for money especially considering the high quality of food. I will definitely be back. Thanks again from MyLondonHome.

Being a frequent visitor to Indian restaurants around the UK, and in particular Nottingham or Derby, the service we encountered on our visit was appalling. The staff are disinterested in you to the point of being rude. We sat for 8pm and were done for 8: 20pm, you would not believe the speed the food came out, and it wasnt to the quality of what we would expect from and Indian which has so many positive reviews on TripAdvisor.Definitely not a revisit from us.👎👎👎

I have been enjoying curries for 50 years. Some good and some not so good.Indian Zing provided the best curry I have ever had. Firstly, the restaurant is pretty classy with nice tables, settings and lighting with an attentive staff. The dishes were traditional yet with some unique angles.A little expensive at £210 for 4 mains, 2 bottles of good red wine plus coffees and liqueurs.Wonderful, but you must book as if is so popular. It was packed on a Tuesday evening.

Unfortunately we have been let down on two occasions without an apology so I am now rating this establishment with a low one. First time my order (three dishes) were given to another table so my husband and I ate consecutively. And more recently I was given a non meat main where they swapped the key ingredient for another off menu, which was not good, and for some reason it was our mistake as per the previous time! How exactly?!!! Please have some decency and take care of your customers. We have been a number of times but I very much doubt we will go back. My husband was rather shocked to have been told by our waiter’s colleague, may be manager, that it was the fault of us, and then we were charged in full incl service on both occasions. Any decent restaurant would apologise in the first instance, remove service and offer something as acceptance to their mistake. We left extremely disappointed having given them another chance. Mistakes happen but so should customer care. It was unfortunate that we gave them a second chance.

This is refined Indian dining. Unusual and polished recipes, attentive andthoughtful waiters, good lighting, perfect for a date. Not your conventional local Indian by any means. Also very close to the district line tube and handy for the (also great for a date) basement jazz club in the polish social centre next door. Im vegetarian and though the main is limited in choice but not in flavour there are great veggy sides to compose with!

This is a remarkable Indian restaurant, on the higher end of the price scale. It feels both modern and traditional, with excellent service and a nice atmosphere. The menu is interesting and sizeable, with plenty of things you might not have seen before as well as the old classics. The food, however, is the highlight: I had a velvety, wonderful, rich curry, and everything here seems to have a complex balance of flavours that work just right. I recommend the innocent-sounding onion bhaji! I cant wait to come back.

Toxic duck curry!!!Worst food poisoning I have ever experienced and some pretty poor customer service!!!I took my wife to Indian Zing a few weeks back and ate the duck curry. What a mistake that turned out to be! Within hours of leaving the restaurant I knew something wasnt right, my stomach was churning. I spent the next 8 hours running backwards and forwards to the toilet with violent diarrhea and projectile vomiting to the point I almost ended up in hospital! I was barely able to eat for the coming 2 days and lost 5kg!I phoned the restaurant on the Monday to let them know what had happened and the man I spoke to seemed surprised and said he would speak to his manager and get back to me shortly. About a day later I got a phone call offering me a free main course on my next visit.I explained to the man that after my experience I would be unlikely to ever return to their restaurant and suggested perhaps they would give me a refund to which he initially said no and again told me I could have a free main course (as if the previous few sentences had not taken place!!!) He then said he would speak to his manager and get back to me by that night. It has now been 3 weeks so I have decided to warn others against the TOXIC DUCK CURRY.Be warned.

Good food but not anything I would describe as fine dining. Lots of table turning so you may well have your meal rushed or delayed. Variable customer service. Some staff are v helpful others verging on rude. I went once with someone who had a wheat allergy which is fairly common nowadays and not normally a problem with most curries as chickpea flower is used and the waiter tried to fob us off with one curry he knew was without wheat and said all the veg dishes had wheat which was total rubbish. Had to force him to go and ask in the kitchen before we got what we wanted. This is frankly unacceptable and all dishes should be adaptable if cooked fresh. You will get a good curry but if you have a quality local curry house you may not find it worth the trip.
