Good food, nice atmosphere amazing and friendly/helpful staff, cant go wrong. Found it to be slightly pricey but overall worth it for the portion size, however I found Camden branch food to just ever so slightly beat them to the taste as they needed to leave the Oxtail in slightly longer but overall great! will be a return customer for sure.

Have been here for dinner - we had the oxtail and the salmon which were excellent. The went there for bottomless brunch which was great - had the vegan brunch. Great customer service the staff are friendly.

Really enjoyed my meal here, had the salmon with mashed potatoes and it was amazing! Wasn’t a fan of the calamari but everything else was great. Also had the rum punch, which is also a must have.

Nice ambience and staff okay too. Cocktails were nice, good selection, but the food was lacking in taste unfortunately. Portions were huge but much was wasted because it just didnt taste as good as it looked. I have been Camden and Vauxhall branch and the food was more enjoyable.

Went for bottomless brunch and would highly recommend! They are not cheap with the rum punch! They top up your drink before it reaches the bottom of the glass. The food is yummy, I got a few sides thinking that the meal wouldn’t be filling enough, but tbh I think I could’ve done without them.I ordered a side of plantain and as you see in the photo, they were still raw when they reached my table. I sent it back and asked if they could fry it again, and they did (some at the bottom were still not fully cooked but I just left them because I didn’t want to bother again.)In all, I was drunk after so I definitely think it was worth it.

Had a great time here on Wednesday. We were warmly greeted even though we arrived 30 minutes early. The manager was so lovely, service with a smile and attended to all our needs. The food was authentic and represented the different caribbean islands. Beautiful.

We had an exceptional experience at Cottons, Notting Hill. We visited on a Sunday afternoon for a late lunch after strolling around Holland Park. Despite not reserving, we quickly found a table. Staff was welcoming & smiling - we really appreciated that. The interiors are unique & very colourful - the whole setting will lift your spirit. We ordered some gin fizz, beer and a few starters, including some fantastic chicken wings with pineapple 🍍! What a dreaaam! We then had a fresh salad, some grilled prawns and a tasty curry served with brown rice. We left happy and satisfied! Totally recommend!

It is always nice to eat real authentic Caribbean food and drinks and no where else to but cottons. Rum punch curry cant and rice, yummy. This us an experience with the ambience great food and do many rums to choose from. A must visit .

Went for bottomless brunch on a Sunday and it was very good. The drinks (rum punch and prosecco) were frequently refilled without having to request it. The food was also good although it would be great if there was more than just the one meal included. Otherwise, a good experience.

A friendly place with the world record for the most rum blends in one place. Tried a few and will be back for some of the others that are reasonably priced.Had the mini menue which is half priced Monday and Thursday. The jerk chicken wings and chips with coleslaw was nice and fillings. Finished with a silky tasting tea.There is outdoor seating and 2 other eating areas inside. Toilets are in the basement but there is wheelchair access only.

Shocking service, we waited over an hour for food to the point people were getting served that came much later than us. When we got our food it was all cold so hat to be sent back which was another 15mins wait. Not one member of staff came to see if everything was ok. We ended up going to the bar to get are own drinks. Staff members to busy talking to each other.

The decor of the restaurant is really nice and the front of house staff was very friendly. The food was hit and miss - the squid was delicious but plantain was very dry and hard as well as the rice and peas. The waiter did not do a good job.. first forgot to bring our drinks, we had to ask another person to bring them. Also she gave us the wrong order and didnt believe us when we said we had not ordered that dish.

Love how versatile this place is, Ive been to the Camden branch a few times but the nottinghill branch will always be my favourite.Love when they had rum tastings I cant wait for that to be a thing again!But Im here to leave a review about a duck dish they use to have on menu 🤤🤤🤤 omg. Everything on that plate down to the carrots tasted like HEAVEN. And Ive noticed theyve got it back on the menu after 2 years 🥲 so I cant wait to return and taste it.

Make sure you have Kelvin as your go to guy! His service and attention to detail is out of this world! The night was made better because of this. Make sure you discuss your rum choices with him, the Trini rums are the best.The food was immaculate. The cocktails were devine. The meats were succulent and tender. My veggie friend said the Tofu dish was the best tofu dish hes had.The atmosphere was buzzing, for a country on a quasi lockdown this was pumping.Slightly pricey is the only gripe.Good job Notting Hill branch. Keep up the great work.

Everyone was and are amazing! Ive decided this is my post classes, decompress with a good dinner place. Also, Ceasar is an amazing bartender and its totally worth asking him to make a drink he likes if you are into trying something familiar but different. They have a ridiculous amount of rum and lots Ive never seen nor heard of before. Totally love this place, it has a very family atmosphere to it, especially when they first open and you get to actually have a 1 on 1 with the staff and manager. Thank you for treating me so well.

Came across this restaurant a bit by accident. Went there with 3 other friends for dinner since we were in the area.The place was nice clean and comfortable. We ordered 7 small plates to share and the food was really tasty and enjoyable, especially the squid, fritters and also the jerk chicken.We enjoyed a 2 for 1 cocktail as it was during happy hour.Staff were pleasant and professional. A smile always goes a long way.

Calling all rum lovers! Have you visited Cottons restaurant in Notting Hill yet? Did you know they serve 372 different rums in their bar/restaurant?! Well it’s true, and the Guinness Book of Records confirmed it this year. I absolutely love rum but sadly (and quite sensibly!) didn’t make it through all of them!On arrival I was served a gorgeous Jamaican Mule, which was delicious and refreshing, The rum in this cocktail was the Appleton Signature Blend, aged for about 4 years with citrus and woody notes. It is quite dry on its own, so fits perfectly as part of a delicious cocktail!Next we tried the Appleton 12 in a Mai Tai which was powerful and delicious – exactly what you expect from a Mai Tai! According to the experts, the Appleton 12 is as close to the Wray & Nephew 17 Rum which was the rum that invented the Mai Tai. I absolutely loved this blend of rum and it was not only great in a cocktail but really tasty to sip on its own.After indulging in some wonderful drinks, we thought it best to try some of the Caribbean food. For starters we opted for the Peppered Prawns (with lime and paprika dressing and fried dumplings) and the Kidney Bean Kievs (with jerk mayo and a chilli pineapple sauce).We were absolutely blown away by the flavours on both starter. Cooked and seasoned to perfection, these were the perfect starters to whet our appetite for our mains! We particularly loved the dressing the prawns came in.For mains, we ordered the Jerk Spatchcock Chicken with rice ‘n’ peas and a red cabbage, pineapple mango slaw. We also had the Braised Pork Belly & Jerk Pork Ribs with a potato gratin, coconut puree and callaloo.Now this food should come with a warning – it was so tasty and there was so much of it. I had a whole chicken on my plate which was extremely tender and the jerk sauce was incredible. The pork belly and ribs were fantastic – again so tender and well marinated. The sweet potato side dish were some of the best I have had, with such a crunch on the outside but soft and fluffy on the inside.Caribbean cuisine is fantastic so I was happy that Cottons restaurant in Notting Hill did not disappoint. With a lively atmosphere, great quality food and super friendly staff, Cottons are on to a winner. Make sure not to miss out on the incredible bar where they have hundreds of rums to order!

Its very good food, authentic carabean. Deffinetly will make you sweat. I recommend the buttermilk chicken and the spicy seafood served in a pan.For negatives I would say that they dont adhere to social distancing guidelines at all. The tables are very close, there are no deviders, most of the staff dont wear masks and they dont provide hand sanitizer.Another negative would be the fact that their bottomless rum drink is extremely watered down; if you do plan on getting the bottomless option its better to get prosseco (at least its what you expect).Lastly the music was way too loud, I couldnt hear anything. But Im not fussy so 3 stars.

Words can not express how amazing this restaurant is. The moment you walk in the staff are welcoming and friendly. The cocktails are happy hour early doors and delicious, you can taste the alcohol. The food is spectacular, there is a wide range of choice on the menu which is great for fussy or pescatarians/veggies. The portions are generous and I highly recommend the calamari, the best Ive had in London, and the chocolate desert. Go, drink, eat, listen to live music, have fun.

The food was really good I had the jerk platter and it didnt dissapoint! Not really sure when I abandoned the knife and fork but it had to be done 😂. The cocktails were also really tasty and had a nice kick to it. Really loved the variety on the menu. The music fit with the restaurant and it was nicely decorated. The waiting staff were lovely and helped make the night. Overall Im definitely going back! 😌

My cousin recommended this place to me on my quick visit to London and I can say I wasnt disappointed. We had the fish platter for two with festivals and fried dumplings as a takeaway. The food was more than enough for the both of us and it was cooked to perfection. The flavours were delicious and I would definitely recommend!

Arrived for a 9pm booked table, after a good 24 minute wait at the check in without being seen we were then told we was too late for the kitchen food. The manager Jerome wasn’t co-operative and had a careless attitude to a group that have been loyal customers. An email was sent to try and rectify the situation for my guests only for us to be accused of ‘lying’. With today’s simple technology of CCTV at their entrance, the word of a incapable manager is taken. Cottons you have lost loyal custom.

Food was ok had much better Caribbean food in Harlesden and way cheaper. Cocktails was good very strong. Staff was very slow and didn’t even give us a menu we had to ask for one.

Great restaurant from menu to manager through to staff great atmosphere food taste authentic artistic venue plus everyone more than accommodating. Rum was fantastic bottomless is truly bottomless never finish a glass before it was refill will have return a few times to try everything on the great menu! Thank you

The rating would have been higher because food is very good but the service is extremely poor. Nobody available to ask for things. Waiter totally ignores you. They don’t clear your table. Not a friendly bunch. If you want a higher rating, improve your service!

The good: drinks & food were absolutely amazing, very quick service, fantastic rum selection, perfect.The bad: we booked ahead for a special occasion & they somehow lost our booking, luckily we found a spot anyway but... One senior member of staff didnt seem to know the drinks/rums at all and got defensive VERY quickly when querying a bill.

Got a takeaway here the other night - got the seafood platter, tofu stir fry and extra plantain. the seafood platter was amazing -- definitely recommend to anyone who likes fish - would be enough to share between two, just with an extra portion of rice. the tofu dish is really good, i loved it but my gf wasnt as keen.

Sorry to say that my latest experience was the worst and I for sure would not go back again.Everything was bad from the get go, our booking was for 12pm which is when they open. The menus we were given were so battered and stained with food from previous guests. We were seated in the back room and every picture that was fixed to the wall was hanging wonky. I just think that says it all really. How can you run a restaurant without paying attention to what your actual venue looks like, or maintaining the decor.Anyways, the food. I ordered a starter off the normal menu and then a breakfast off the brunch menu. The starter was good but it was clearly all microwaved. The Ital vegan breakfast was abysmal quite frankly. The large mushroom was burned and charred, the bread was not hard dough bread like stated in the menu, it was toasted but no margarine available. The bean salsa thing was flavourless and cold and the fritters were quite obviously old and warmed up. The entire thing was just horrible.The final thing was the waitress was terrible.I can imagine if you are doing bottomless brunch you may not realise the low standard of food.

What can I say about Cottons Nottinghill apart from a absolutely brilliant experience and thats not them paying me to say it. The pure quality of service and food was amazing. Jeromethe general manager and staff showed how to deliver a professional and tailored service with a natural feeling. The price surely met the food amount. I was defeated for the very first time.......ever. couldnt eat dessert. I will definitely go again.

Visited their Notting Hill branch for the first time today for a weekend brunch which includes unlimited rum punch and prosecco.The venue is located a shirt distance away from Notting Hill Gate tube station on the main road. I liked that there was tables and chairs outside for dining as it was a lovely day. Inside was spacious and airy. The brunch menu was a bit limited but it did cover meat, veggie and breakfast options with a Caribbean twist. I ordered a jerk chicken with potatoes and festival, I would have expected a little more but it was a brunch....I do have to say that it was gorgeous and the extra jerk sauce was ideal if you want an extra kick to the jerk chicken. The unlimited drinks was free flowing and once you finished or nearly finished the attentive staff would top you back up, a nice touch. Only thing I could be critical of is that the Rum punch wasnt as strong as I would have expected but wouldnt hold that against them as I will definitely visit again 😃
