Excellent Indian restaurant! Food was amazing, staff equally so (very attentive without constantly interrupting you when youre in the middle of conversation). Came here for my birthday and had a lovely time at this special establishment. The staff went above and beyond duty to provide an exceptional level of service and very much enjoyed learning about some of the drinks served and history behind the dishes. It was clear they shared the passion in what they were doing. All the dishes were of exceptional quality and would be difficult to replicate at home. I particularly enjoyed the use of spices to provide exciting yet subtle flavours. Mouthwatering dishes with the meat melting in the mouth as it was so tender. The highlight for me was the Kid Goat Shoulder cooked slowly in the tendor for hours which was simply sublime. Will definitely return and try again.

Great Indian bbq cuisine served here. The place is inspired by the Indian army mess bars and is perfect to watch sports, play pool or have a lovely meal. The food is tasty and menu offers a wide variety of grilled meat. The Amritsari Fried Fish Paos, Bhuna Ghee masala goat chops with Dum beef shin and bonemarrow biriyani were all excellent with the standout being the Bhuna ghee masala goat chops. The whisky cocktails were superb as well

We have just had the loveliest meal at Brigadiers. We have been going out to restaurants for the last 4 years together and tonight’s experience was the best customer service we have ever had in London. We were served outdoors by the lovely Eric and another waiter who were kind, attentive and funny. The atmosphere was great and the football was also intense. I was given great advice and a really delicious mocktail based on what I liked. The food was also delicious especially the bbq butter chicken chicken wings and soft shell crab. The whiskey selection was great (3 pages and a chart!!) and we can’t wait to be back again soon! Thanks to the whole team for making our night special 😊

Went here with high expectations. Double boned lamb chops were superb, as described by other, charred and juicy. Chicken skin bites were tasty morsels. The major disappointment for me was the beef shin and bone marrow biryani. The bone within, that was due to be relieved of its marrow had virtually nothing. The reason given to us by the waiter was that the dish had been made smaller than in the past and as such the bone was smaller. Maybe they should just use a shorter cut of a bone with more marrow. It left the dish dry sadly. We also over-ordered, given the waiter was certain the short ribs were very small, when they turned out to be a decent size. I am picking really, but when the bill was near £250 for 3, then pick I shall. Beers anc cocktails were excellent. The place was full. Service was good but just a touch irritating in the delivery. They offered desserts as recompense for the lacking bone marrow, but we didnt fancy it.

Brilliant. Probably the best Indian food I have had. Ever. And I am not saying this lightly. I am still recovering from the food coma Brigadier’s put me in last night.Everything about Brigadier’s was perfect right from the ambiance, staff till food and cocktails.Starting with the staff - really friendly, cordial. At some point, there was a mix-up with our order and they ended up providing us multiple complimentary dishes. We ended up trying most of the vegetarian dishes on their menu. We ordered the Paneer Chilli Lettuce Cups, Samosas, Aloo Gobhi Vada Pao, Summer Biryani, Paneer Sashlik, Paneer Kathi Roll, House Dhal, Pinenut Pilau, Onion Kulchas, and Mango Falooda. And everything was just perfect. If I had to choose a favourite, which will be unfair to other dishes, it will be the Paneer Chilli Lettuce Cups. I am still not sure what was in it because the flavour profile was that complex but every bite was tasteful.I had the Cask Old Fashioned for cocktails and tried their Jal Jeera (whisky infused) as well. They were amazing too.Overall, no complaints. Definitely coming back and recommending this to everyone who asks for an Indian restaurant in London.

The food is extremely well cooked and fresh, made of high quality ingredients and flavors very well balanced. The atmosphere is pleasant, and I was very happy that there is no too loud music. Service is friendly and helpful. However, they are not too much able to accommodate special wishes in regard of their dishes. I asked my dishes very spicy and with less oil. Both of these were agreed when making the order but when they brought the food to the table, it turned out that they wont make them spicy and cannot reduce oil.In every case, the food is tasty, even if it is very mild, still full of flavors. But its also very heavy and a bit too greasy which is a big minus and reduces the eating experience quite precisely.

Delivery from here was ok. Some agreeable plates. I wasn’t a fan of the shin biriyani. It had strainy bits of gelatinous fat that were seriously off putting. Lamb chops were the standout. Good food. We ordered the lamb chops and chicken chops. Both cooked perfectly. The beef biryani was amazing. Tender pieces of beef with flavoured rice.I would recommend to request the food not come all at once if it’s just two people and they don’t split up or ask if you want it staged. Also they only give you 1hr 30mins for your meal and pushed us to leave ASAP as they had other reservations. 1hr 30 mins is way too short for a meal like this and seemed rushed. They didn’t offer a table or seat at the bar nor anything complimentary. Service can be improved.

Five of our most esteemed members descended upon the Notorious B.R.I.G to usher in the 103rd consecutive monthly gathering of the Sipsy Curry Society. We came to sample the restaurant’s wide range of sharing plates in all their various sizes. And Briggy’s Smalls did not disappoint. Biting into the vegetable samosa was like stepping inside the home of a very tasteful hoarder, such was the robust infrastructure of the pastry casing and the wild array of flavours inside. Moving on the the mains, the goat shoulder was so tender it almost fell off the table. Imagine that! This is the kind of restaurant where I’d quite gladly leave my own mother waiting in a pre-agreed location in a multi-storey car park for up to two hours without even texting her, just so I could enjoy every last moment of the meal. Fortunately, on this particular evening my mum had not agreed to pick me up afterwards, allowing me ample time to walk off the monumental lamb chops. One star for each of the SCS royalty who made the trip.

I had the pleasure of visiting Brigadier restaurant this evening .We found parking a bit tricky as it’s right into the centre of the city so I assumed this might be the case. Our waiter (Emmanuel) was fantastic- even though we were quite late he wasn’t pushy or hurrying us up to order. He have good suggestions and always helped with any requests we had. Very polite and kind - we were so grateful for his amazing service.Ambience was good- it had a funky feel to the place which I personally liked. Outside seating was ample and more modern and inside more of a traditional feel but still with a good atmosphere and not overtly stuffy. The food was quite good- I wouldn’t say it was the best Indian food I have had in London but it was very flavoursome and well cooked. The lamb cubes seems a little overdone in my opinion but it was still quite nice. The lamb chops were amazing , succulent and tender. Daal makhani and paneer also tasted great .They had good chutneys as accompaniments.Overall a nice experience - try and avoid driving here - there is street parking a few streets away but can be really hard to find any, plus the city can be strict about parking even on yellow lines! Food was good, nice ambience .Thanks again to the great waiter Emmanuel who could teach a lot of waiters a think or two on hospitality !

It was extremely oily, could barely see any veggies and the rice was soggy as opposed to being grainy which is how biryanis are meant to be.The positive highlight was that the service was very quick. This is a really great place, easily one of the best Indian (or Indian inspired) food restaurants in London. The quality of every dish was excellent. The samosas had just the right amount of spice, the bone marrow was out of this world, the game bird kebab was probably the best kebab I’d ever had (super juicy and tender), the chicken chops were perfectly cooked, all the sauces and Naan bread were delicious, and the Bombay Chai I got at the end really hit the spot. The bar is also quite nice - great beer selection. The service was rather fast, helpful and friendly. FYI, 3-4 dishes (2 appetizers plus 2 main), plus a side of rice or Naan bread, is more than enough for 2 people to share! It’s a bit pricey, you should be prepared to pay around 100£ for 2 people, but that’s London, and it’s well worth the money for the quality. Highly recommended.

I went there in 2018, about November. I always tell the story but never made the review until now. It was my first time in london, I was dressed a bit casual and had a long walk before stoping there to grab some food.Long story short, the recepcionist didnt like how I looked and told me to wait for a table in a bar they have specially for that purpose. After 1 hour plus, I realized it was the way to tell me I was not welcome and I wasnt even in the waiting list. After asking for my table, a lady told me that they made a mistake and I had to return on a different day. Of course I had to pay for the drinks while I waited. On my way out I found a collegue that just arrived and was offered a table. He invited me to join and I took a seat next to him. The manager came and told me they were sorry for the second mistake of not having seated me. It was too late, at that time it was too obvius the place had a RACIST filter and I didnt pass it.

Also one of the staff started arguing with us as we didnt pay the full DISCRETIONARY service charge (we were less than 20p short). The food itself was good though a tad expensive for what you got. There wasnt much choice for dessert (4 variations of kulfi). It didnt work out much cheaper ordering growlers over individual pints or 2/3 pints.
