I had such an amazing experience. We had the best waitress!! She was super friendly and very quick and efficient. Every plate I took was so tasty and every component of the dish blended so well together. Their menu changes every month and they also offer a type of tasting menu. I highly recommend this gem!

Truly beautiful and delicious tapas!

The food is very good for the price. fresh ingredients and good cook on them. every components work well on the plate. i would still be happy if the price was higher. the only down is the service time...it takes way too long. i sat there for 30min before my order is taken. And there was only like 10 dishes on the menu. the dishes took too long to come out as well...But food itself is perfect especially for this price.

Very nice restaurant, not too chic, just enough! The ambiance was a bit loud, but not unpleasant. The food was fantastic and the service was very good as well. There was a bit of delays in the dish delivery, but nothing that could have reduce our enthusiasm and our overall experience. I was with my 3 foodie kids, and they were very well received which definitely a plus for me. We all enjoyed every part of the experience from my kids’ mocktails up to the deserts. Special star for the tasty sweetbreads with chocolate crumble and the irresistible clam gnocchis! I am eager to go back to taste the famous octopus!

Excellent tapas, very flavorful and beautiful presentation, friendly and warm staff, you can eat inside or on terrace. Original and tasty cocktails but the later are a bit pricey. 4 plus stars 👍

Amazing food! A bit pricey as expected, but 100% worth it. We had the tasting menu which consisted in several dishes (10 if I recall correctly), all of which were very good. The imported wine menu was very well constructed to allow nice food pairings. The owner, chef and staff were very friendly.

The dishes are aesthetically pleasing and the flavours compliment each other well. However, the staff is clearly unaware of the proper way to build dishes so that the customer feels satisfied at the end of their meal. I am an average sized Canadian and after eating three dishes (as recommended), I left feeling disappointed and hungry.

Our favorite place. Excellent. No words to qualify the quality of the meals that are served here. Delicious. The chef is an artist of tapas. Extraordinaire!!!

Really not my thing. Service was average at best food welk being tapas they nail you to the bone. I had the equivalent of a zuchini in acidic sauce with boccancini cheese almost raw 2 servings 26.00 plus they nail you on the wine doubl saq prices. Sorry im just honest here. 3 tiny scallops with an emultion dot to dip for 22 something is just 2 much

Old Montrealers, we miss our beloved Rosemont. This restaurant incorporates all the elements of this urban, inventive and daring cuisine. Exceptional!

We go to this restaurant often and often ordered during the time the restaurants were closed. The food and service have always been faultless. Last night no complaints for the food but unfortunately the service left a bit to be desired. We waited a very long time for one of our dishes, only to find that our waitress either forgot to place our order or the dish had been passed on to another customer. It was not all clear. All this without explanation or excuse is his share. Compensation would have been appreciated given the circumstances. Too bad because everything is usually perfect and this leaves us with a bitter taste to go back there.

We have adored ! The tasting menu delighted our taste buds and the food and wine pairing was a success. Excellent service. In good company with our friends, all the conditions were there to have a great time. Thank you Black Forest for giving us such a great treat!

I ate there twice.The food and wine pairing is greatly appreciated by me.The food is very good and the flavors balanced for my taste.The dining room is noisy and sometimes the servers give defensive responses.I guess the clientele is not always very politically correct with them which may explain their reactions. Having said that, they are working hard to help us have a good time.

A superb experience for our first time in this restaurant, certainly to be repeated! We loved the tasting menu, which includes 12 courses, nothing less! Everything was excellent, tasty and mixtures of textures very well coordinated. In addition, the service was impeccable, and the place very warm. Worth the detour, plus in a very charming corner of Laval.

Everything about this place is excellent! The food is delicious, the prices are very reasonable, the staff are attentive and professional, the atmosphere is warm and the place is beautiful! What more could you ask for? I recommend to everyone!

This restaurant is a real gem! My in-laws went there often before the pandemic and they have always been very satisfied. For Valentines Day, my boyfriend and I decided to try the 5 course take out menu. WOW! What an experience! We were so impressed that we recently tried the 10 course tasting menu to celebrate a new career that is starting for me. Once again, we were very pleased. The 10 courses have more than satisfied us and yet we have great appetites, haha! We cant wait to try this indoor restaurant when possible. The take out menus are so delicious that we are salivating at the thought of the experience there.We took the optional cold menus and the instructions for reheating the dishes are very clear. We have heated the dishes more than the recommended time, but obviously everyone goes according to the strength of their oven.Superb experience! The cost is more than worth it! Well done!

Wow! I had been to a restaurant before and loved it! now, in COVID take out style, we took a tasting menu keeping in mind that its still take out .... ok its not like at a restaurant (not the same service even if my boyfriend is strength, not the same presentation, a little less extraordinary than the restaurant) but for a take out ,,,, simply great! Really happy to have known this establishment. A little by chance, but we have supped in a divine way. All dishes were original, with wonderful blends of flavors, seasoned perfectly and beautifully presented. We loved it.A French maudis couple of passage.

We went on March 29th. We were 2 couples and loved the experience except at the bottle of wine. When ordering a $ 75 wine, we expect to have the pleasure of seeing the arrival of the bottle intact, its presentation, the opening of the bottle and most importantly, the tasting. But no ! The waitress (who was very nice) brought us the bottle already open! When I made the comment, she simply explained that she was in the moon and opened the bottle on the way! She put the bottle on the table and we had to pour the bottle ourselves in the glasses (after I poured myself a little and I did the tasting to make sure that the wine was good for my guests). Despite the fact that the waitress noticed my surprise, I never had any excuses or explanations from him or from the owner who took the trouble to come and talk to us. This is the only reason that prevents me from returning to this restaurant. Pity ...

A bit noisy inside and the restaurant was not full. Very small terrace, with spiders at dusk. So we do not go for the physical comfort of the restaurant (which explains my 4 stars) but for the concept of Urban Cuisine style Tapas. I recommend the tasting menu for 4. Wow very nice experience. Urban cuisine where chefs are not afraid to reinvent classics or do the opposite of what everyone else does. We can really see that they had fun developing the dishes in the kitchen and the search for flavor is exhaustive. The 5 dishes we had were absolutely delicious and we also very much appreciated that the chef owner came to explain each dish to us. We really felt like he was inviting us to his house and it made our hearts warm. The atmosphere of the restaurant has been redone since La Vielle Histoire and it doesnt hurt at all! A relaxed and lounge atmosphere that pairs perfectly with the urban cuisine they serve. They also change their menu every month! Finally the prices for wine and cocktails are very reasonable and the glass of wine served is a real glass of wine and not a 1/2 glass as in some restaurants. The list of wines offered could be larger, however. A very nice surprise and my girlfriend and I will be back very soon for sure!
