I can’t believe people complain about this place in the reviews. It was so clean and neat inside that it actually made it pleasant to shop. The produce all looked great, neatly arranged etc. The hot meal counter was clean and everything looked great. The nearby Metro grocery has a higher rating but I think this place is much nicer inside. Whoever the manager is, they seem to run a tight ship. Keep up the great work!

Today this manager lost a 300+$ grocery sale cause he/she wanted to charge me 1$ for a mask when mine blew away cause of the heavy wind outside. Great service 👌metro next door had absolutely no issues helping me out with a free mask in order to get my business.

My favorite IGA. Always clean, well maintained with such order and care. I literally drive extra to come to specifically this iga location. It is sparkly clean everytime. They have EVERYTHING. All employees are working with such effort and care. I am very impressed by this location. I even had to ask to speak to the boss to let him know how my shopping experience there is always the best

A long overdue note of gratitude, this particular location is staffed with friendly hardworking people. Service in French and English , always a smile and a thank you.I am always happy to shop here, especially now during these unsure times with the virus and worried shoppers. Staff went out of their way to clean shopping carts . As usual the staff were helpful in the isles. Thank you IGA Lavallée!

Great people great clean place

It says they close at 8 pm. When I get to the store at 7 pm they tell me it is closed when I tell them very politely that online it says their closing time is 8 pm and they might want to change the hours online. The man tells me pretty rudely that it says 7 pm on signs inside the store....he looked pretty annoyed and angry with me for no reason. As a front line worker I don’t have much time to do my groceries, it would be nice to have the right hours on google. Will go elsewhere from now on.

Very disrespecting person working there.Today (October 22nd) around 6 pm , a young man with name tag “Hassan” was treating people entering the supermarket as dirty dogs using humiliating language, tone and gestures to keep them out in order to follow the hands sanitizing procedure upon going inside.Very shocked indeed!

Always a wide selection of products, the store is well maintained always clean, its a good store

I will never support this store specifically. Terrible employees who literally provide 0 customer service and have rotten attitude. I had a security guard following me around the entire time for no apparent reason. After some annoying moments, I threatened to leave the store and never support this business again, to which, I did. Go for better seafood at Odessa, Avril or even Costco. As for all other foods, overpriced!!! You can get the same stuff elsewhere for cheaper. Lastly, they always run out of stock. Couldn’t even find any beyond beef or Chocolats Favoris cookies!!

Place was clean, had a nice special or two. They have the thick plastic bags. Craft beer selection is really amazing.

If I happen to be in Laval, I love to come to this particular IGA. The store itself is clean and the shelves are always stocked. I especially love to look at the cakes, in their bakery. Wow! There are always wonderful selections, made by a very talented person.(Check out my photos of the Easter cakes. They are so artistic!)What makes this IGA extra special, is the fine people, who work here. They are friendly and welcoming.Just today,the lady behind the sushi counter was so pleasant and accomodating, when I asked her to switch out my soy sauce package, for a different one ...no problem at all.And,my favourite conversation was with Adam, in the prepared foods section. He was engaging and listened👂attentively, as I went on and on and on...He told me it was only his second day working at this IGA. I hope he didnt get into trouble for talking with me, for so long!Sometimes, all one needs is a little conversation to brighten🌞up a day. I know its not the job of the employees to banter with customers and its probably easier for them to put their heads down and carry on working. Worst experience ever!!!!!!!!! Not coming again, you just lost 250$ a week, I went today and I get treated sooo bad by the person at the entry (a guy, dark skin, dominican accent). I’ll try my luck tomorrow reporting the incident with the owner, but no much hope.

This is like all IGA stores but I particularly like this place to have lunch. The food is always good with many choices and the service is impeccable. So great place for groceries but to have lunch too and there is always place to sit at a table or counter. Highly recommend this place.

Had an incident few days back with the guy at the door while trying to do some shopping with my wife, he disrespected me and my wife. Also really bad customer service. We live in the area so we go often, you guys just lost two loyals customers, got two bad reviews and a lot of further bad reference!!

The IGAS are all very good. And clean! Have good meat, & vegetables! They are well-stocked.

Great store and good prices! the food to go is always fresh I order vegetarian pizza and fries often and its always made fresh in front of me! very affordable ☺

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Extremly rude male iga worker at the front of the grocery store entrance, when waiting to enter. Was SHOUTING at me and my wife for not keeping 2 meters apart from eachother as we entered. I explained we are together and he cuts me off talking loud stating it doesnt matter. What a great way to introduce customers as they enter.

Impolite racist cashierStanding over 1 meter and keeps pointing to stand back.Saying it’s already bad for me when he didint even listen to what i sayI asked to speak to the manager they let me wait for 10 minsI called , they put me on hold for another 10 minutes, then i get the same guy talking to me tell me GOOD LUCK and hanging the phone ???

I usually love iga, but this one is dirty. The prepared food has been way over cooked every time I order from here. Sandwiches were okay. But the fresh foods and vegetables, you have to check thoroughly because they dont remove the old right away.I dont like that their employees take good parking spots by the front door. Other places the employees know to leave those for customers.It would be better to just go to the Metro on the next street.

Manager is racist. It seems that if you are a black person and you bring your own reusable shopping bag which is the size found in all stores you will be searched, while others are not. So sad. Still in 2019 people are racists, judgemental and mean. Will never shop at IGA again, there are now too many options and competition to have to deal with being treated different because of skin colour.

Great place to shop for groceries close to major store for instance Reno Depot, Centre Laval major restaurants, Place Bell. Its endless a lot to see and do.

Maybe this isnt the cheapest grocery shop but you can buy here almost everything. Nice set-up and layout and staff of course.

Paid 3,99$ today (01/04/2019) for a can and it’s expired since 26 october 2018 !!!! Ruined 15$ worth of ingredients in my soup because of this. Ridiculous.

OVER PRICED everything is overpriced and quality is 4/10Expect to pay OVER PRICE for very low quality food. Packed nicely. So that you dont realise youve been screwed until you get home. This place clearly aims at a Elder clientele . And oh did i forget to mention my favorite part of it. The BREAD you buy thats packed THE SAME DAY is frozen stif. Dont try and debate that with the Cheif in charge of the bakery . As he will be incredibly rude simply for asking a simple question : why is fresh bread Frozen ? He looked at me like i was some sort of idiot asking this simple question.

This is a fairly large and spacious IGA compared to others around Laval. Other than that its a standard IGA!
