But after tying out the vegetarian items last week at Aqua Java Im totally in love with the lip-smacking vegetarian food served here. Even it has different sitting arrangements for couples, families and small groups.I have started with refreshing Mojito Mint.I have tasted couple of items like✓ Soyabeen Galouti Kebabs - Delicious galouti kebabs are the best option to start the food journey. It was so tasty, I never had a Soyabeen dish that much tasty. Highly recommend.✓ Cheese Garlic Bread - Another light and tasty starter item which is a good option for group of people.✓ Nachos Grande - A classic Mexican dish to share with friends or family. It was very cryspy and tasty.I have also tried A-La-Fungi (Veg) - An authentic Italian dish serve with sliced and steamed mushrooms, butter and creamy gravy. Aqua Java Decibel is a Hidden gem for veg food lover, located at kakurgachi.Location:The place is located near kakurgachi more(5 min walking distance).Its on the first floor of a residential Building.One can easily trace by Google map.Ambience:This place is amazingly designed and very well decorated.The colourful lights,well comfortable sitting arrangements was quite eye-catching.The sitting arrangements was quite different there.They provide seats for couples in a different place.They have place for small house parties also.And if you are coming with friends then the cafe is all yours.Drinks:I ordered there a virgin mojito and a crunchin java.Virgin mojito was more than perfect.A perfect start of our food journey at that place.And the crunching java was also very good in taste.Food:We ordered Greek salad, chefs special pizza, spring roll, onion ring, Chinese bhel,pasta A-la Fungi,veg clear soup, chocolate mud cake.Chefs Special Pizza is basically vegetarian pizza extra cheese, paneer and bell paper!It was truly amazing in taste.Spring Rolls were great in taste.it was wrapped finely and taste was also good.Lastly the Mud cake!That was a perfect ending of that day.That was a amazing dessert.Along with amazing food quality another amazing part of this cafe is their staffs behaviour that was quite helpful to find the best dishes of the cafe and it was quite friendly.So,A good location, Quality food with perfect quantity, amazing décor place this cafe already in one of my favourite cafes list.

Tucked away in the lanes opposite Gupta Brothers, Kankurgachi branch, aqua java is a fine vegetarian cafe!Pasta Ala Fungi is a beautiful beautiful preparation of pasta, with one of the cheesiest white sauce and ample mushrooms, served with toasted garlic bread!Chefs Special Pizza, a vegetarian pizza with huge amounts of cheese, paneer and bell paper! Even having never imagined that Ill order for a veg pizza, I give full points to this!To go with these cheesy delights, our server recommended us Greek Salad, Spring Rolls, Chinese Bhel and Onion rings!Greek Salad was a refreshing and  wholesome combination of fresh lettuce, onions, bell papers, olives, tomatoes, seasoned with oregano and vinaigrette dressing!Spring Rolls, which were great, with fine wrappings and good amount of filling, and most importantly well seasoned! Same goes for the crispy onion rings!Oh, must mention the honey chilli flake dip, which went absolutely great with both of these items.Chinese Bhel is as we all know is a grand lipsmacking mixture of fried noodles, sev puri, onions, bell papers, chutneys, dressed with coriander and spring onions!The virgin mojito was a tad bit too sweet for my taste, but I am sure that could have been made better with better instructions from my side.The second blockbuster element, first one being the pasta, is the Mud Cake. A gooey chocolate cake, topped with all the more chocolate sauce, dressed with almonds and cashew and served alongwith vanilla ice cream. This is a dream-come-true dessert.Quantity wise, every main course dish is filling for two!

Not only that, theyve 10 other branches across the city. I wanted to see whats really special about their food that even non vegetarians go there.This one is named Decibel, to that I can relate loud music and thats what their ambiance is all about. Big lounge to relax and enjoy their fine made Shisha. Go to their balcony and theirs a complete different environment perfect for date.We started our day here from Mojito that was quite refreshing in this summer day and finalised our order.Starter :------------------Stuffed Cheese Paneer Tikka (4/5) :Big pieces of freshly made Panner sandwiched with cheese in middle, tasted nice.Stuffed Tandoori Aloo (4/5) :It looked like an egg where the yolk was made of stuffed paneer. Outside layer was textured and crispy, inside this stuffing tasted really nice.Soybeans Galouti (4/5) :It was completely new for me, I neverve tried veg Galouti before but this turned out as great.Hara Bhara Kebab (3/5) :Traditional green made kebabs tasted okay.Mains :----------------Dal Makhani (4/5) :I havent seen any restaurant giving this much of butter on top of Dal Tadka. If you love butter, try this out.Dhaba Dal Tadka (3/5) :Regular kali dal Tadka served nicely in a bucket.Mushroom Do Pyaza (2/5) :It was extremely spicy and mushroom pieces got blend in its super rich gravy. Didnt tasted that good, not recommended.Malai Kofta (4/5) :Just a wonderful creamy super delicious side dish that tasted perfect with naan. Kofta pieces just melted in mouth with blast of flavours.Butter Naan Roti (3/5) :All the above dishes went well with their fluffy butter naan.Veg Dum Biryani with Raita (4/5) :Even for a single moment I didnt missed my regular Non-Veg Biryani, it tasted so close to that. But what I will miss is their Raita, that went super well with their spicy Biryani.I liked their main dishes more than starters and then jumped into desserts.Desserts :---------------------Vanilla Ice Cream topped with chocolate sauce was delicious.With all these dishes we completed our lunch and let me tell you one thing, we were all Non-Vegetarians. But no one opened their mouth and asked for non-veg, rather everyone was busy with their plates.We got to know that, all of these Indian items were from their newly launched menu. Items are priced very standard. Overall a great place to have fun with friends.

Before some days was introduced to this place , near Kakurgachi more just opposite to the Purvachal Diagonistic centre along with my friends to hang out. This place would be Preferable to all vegetarian people.. And with the vegan dishes they also serves Hookah so that is quite impressive.Ambience-- the entrance of this place was pretty good, they have a big sitting arrangements, and also have a outside sitting arrangements with the combination of green soothing colour. Inside the whole wall was nicely merged with music instruments and the related photography hanging over there rightly giving you a good vibes if you love Music! So I really enjoyed that ambience along with hookah.Other foods that We were served:Chefs special pizza- being a non vegetarian, I generally dont like veg pizza and all but here my experience was different.. I am compelled to say that it was one of the cheesiest pizza I have ever had... Cheese was overloaded with small cube of paneer, and capsicum, belt paper, and other toppings in a right amount on thisjust made pizza super delicious .Pasta Ala Fungi- Cheese is always close to my heart and tummy both. So again another cheesy dish was orderd on the Reccomendation of them. Penne pasta was well cooked with right amount of Mushroom which was actually replaced with the taste of chicken for me. And It was also served with a garlic bread. That was a good combination.Virgin Mojito- It was bit sweet in taste that might be not appropriate for me. I think it could be different.Spring roll- To make some difference , after lots of cheesy dishes we were served this lipsmacking spring roll. The wholesome stuffings inside the roll was quite good taste was also good!Overall it was good experience to try some vegan dishes along hookah.

Khoya and Dry fruits were stuffed in the potatoes after mixed with yoghurt and hot Indian spices. This dish is cooked in Tandoor and is really a good item which you can have as a starter.3. Stuffed Cheese Paneer TikkaThis is basically the Chefs own creation and thats why I have didnt have enough knowledge regarding the recipe. Well, all I can say that the paneer accompanied by cheese made the dish totally mouth watering. If you are a paneer lover then this would be your sweet target to start with.4. Soybeans Galouti KebabThe kebab tasted really mouth melting. The kebab was shallow fried and the stuffing was made with soybeans paste. Best tasted with Pudhina Chutney.5. Hara Bhara KebabNow, this is something I must say I admired the most. I must say this is probably the most healthy and delicious vegetarian snacks made with spinach, potatoes and greens.6. Mushroom do PyazaTotally spicy and tasty. The dish was prepared with a large amount of onions and mushrooms, both cooked in the spices and curry and as a garnish.7. Cheese NaanThis is something new which I tried out for the first time and became a huge fan just after the first bite. Whosoever is a fan of cheese pizza will now find the same love in Indian cuisine. Highly recommended.8. Malai KoftaPersonally, Im not a very big fan of Malai Kofta but the way this dish was made especially the taste of the gravy forced me to draw second thoughts regarding this dish. I had this with Cheese Naan and greeted the Chef with a mouthful of Thanks.9. Daal MakhaniWell, when the Daal Makhani was served, I was literally astonished by the smell which came from the Daal and the melted butter on it. The taste was totally delicious and tasted best when tried with Cheese Naan.10. Dhaba Dal TadkaThis is the hardcore dish for all the Dal lovers especially the ones you look in a Road Side Dhaba. The Dal literally left me with licking my fingers. For best taste, try this out with Cheese Naan.11. Veg Dum Biriyani with RaitaThis was probably one of the best biriyanis I ever had. The taste wasnt dull at all. The quantity was quite enough for an individual and it does come with an Aloo along with paneer and other vegetables. They already have 6 outlets around kolkata and if you are a veg peeps then it will be a must try place for you cause the place is not only pocket friendly , it is quite happening and a perfect destination for spending quality time with your buddies. This aqua java decibel is located at kankurgachi , just opposite to purvachal diagnostic center. They have three 3 separate seating areas actually - one is for the group meetups ,any small birthday celebration or like kitty parties. And the second one is for couples which is based in their balcony area and the 3rd one is their main seating area with some comfy sofas and couple of chairs along with some music posters and few music lnstruments all over the floor.We landed here at late afternoon and ordered -🔹Chefs Special Pizza - I never say no to PIZZA and if it comes with loaded cheese then i will be the first one to dig in... Being a veg pizza , it was really delicious and looks tempting at the same time.🔹Pasta Ala fungi - One of the best item i had so far in aqua java. The sauce was so creamy and buttery , maybe because of that cheese i believe. A must try dish for sure. Highly recommended.🔹Chinese Bhel - It was okayish, maybe you loved it but it was very average from me. I prefer Basic street bhel more than this one. It was very crunchy and a little bit tangy in flavor because of the lemon.🔹Crunching Java - A typical cold coffee which they named differently. Btw it was really thick and smooth. A prefect blended drink.🔹Mud Cake - YUMYUM!! deserts like these are love. Recommended one.Overall i had ball of a time over here with my food partners ,we ordered hookah as well. Dont know why but they took veeerrryyy long time to serve dishes although there was very little crowd, and people of other table who came later got served before us and we waited for long time. Also quantity of food was very little as per price. I try out restaurants for reviewing... I would recommend Fork & Dagger that is at girishpark. It is far better in quantity quality at same price range

Bad food, zomato gold was denied to be accepted even though bill wasnt made. It was rude behavior by the staff when we told them about zomato gold. Moreover if you ask for regular water they will say they have No RO water only tap water available. Means you are having an unhygienic atmosphere, will never go again.

Bit expensive. But the hookah is too gud. We tried thier combos which was value for money.

Just one word. Lip smacking.We were very hungry and ordered wai wai bhel, spiked nachos and Taiwanese spring rolls. They were all sooo good and the sauces accompanying the nachos were so finger licking good, that we literally wiped clean the bowl. ☺The atmosphere is also good and the decor is swanky with pictures of bands and artists all over.Good place to dig in.
