Checkup is good... But very rude staffs and hell lot of mus management.. I took my grandmother for a check she was sitting on wheel chair.. as she cannot walk at a normal pace... We requested to let her go fast as she was having pain .. but they directly said that they cannot let her go before the other who came first

Nice eye care

I am a regular at this hospital for 4 years now. They are a great place to treat the eyes. Wait time was huge last week, under staffed due to corona. Improper crowd management. Doctors are good.

Though the hospital have good equipment but the staff should go through a management process of training them to be more efficient not everyone has 4 5 hours to make a single doc visit. Staff semmed to be roaming around not knowing the wearabouts of doctors. Making 60 70 year olds to wait for 3 4 hours straight with no covid screning in place. Its just seems like a operation that is put together every morning to be discontinued tomorrow.

Well managed , the staffs and doctors are pretty good 😍 . very clean environment .Specially i like the walls photos that posted with some quote/information . its 5-7 minutes walking path from Ballygunge railway station . 5th floor of city math building . for smooth experience please book few days ago via disas web portal or you can book over phone call , you will get a booking id and dont forget to mention your PID if you previously visited . Located on the 4th floor of Citi Mart Mall in Gariahat, this eye hospital provides various range of eye-care services by best medical practitioners. I have been a regular annual visitor in various branches of this hospital and I am very satisfied with their services.I came here for my eye check up which was completed within an hour.Firstly, book an apointment over the phone(phone numbers are given in their websites). I took an afternoon apointment with Dr. Champakali Biswas, and it was quite deserted at that time. The consultation fee is Rs. 200. I highly recommend Dr. Champakali Biswas to anyone looking for eye check up. She is very polite and attentive to your concerns. She did a thorough check-up of my eyes.Hygiene and cleanliness is well maintained. Washroom is quite clean.

Extremely smooth experience. Happy with their service. Ophthalmologists and optometrists are doing a great job. One can avail cashless mediclaim for cataract surgery.

My mom did her cataract surgery from here. For both her eyes. 1 in 2016 and another in 2020 (during September pandemic time).The entire experience was smooth, the Doctors were very friendly. Its a busy place, but I am happy with the end result. They also have a mediclaim department where the surgery was covered by insurance.

Good service, overall clean and hygienic atmosphere. Need a good canteen and cafeteria. Price is a bit high as usual in private nursing home. Swastha sathi health card is not accepted here.

Good eye hospital with many optical surgery and facilities at moderate price. It on the 4th floor and have a elevator facility. It opens from 8 am, though the doctors arrive after 9am approx. The place is provided with adequate chairs, fans and centralized AC. I specially liked the system in which tgey operate. Its quick and effective. Theres different cash counters, receptions, eye exam, pharmacy and spectacles counter. Also the people who work here are very much helpful and well mannered.

Disha Eye Hospital, Gariahat Branch, Kolkata is located adjacent to City Mart departmental store. Disha is very dependable eye treatment center in West Bengal. Treatment cost is reasonable compared to other eye hospitals of similar standard. Appointment is a must here except for critical cases like sudden loss of vision.

Very good place for eye

Good place but overcrowded.They should take measure to allot token no to the people visiting.Once you reach any counter, if you miss out in filling the form then you will have to leave the line and then again stand in queue from the line.This is wastage of time and energy for elderly people.

I gave rating 2 just because of the doctors well behaviour & cheaper than other hospitals. Today i went for checkup. The doctor was good. But few staffs behaviour were horrible. The lady in the mediclaim desk was showing attitude. When i was asking for queries her behaviour completely shows how bad she was. She was not willing to answer my questions. She was sending me to another desk & from that desk another lady sending me to her desk again. Worst experience ever. Not at all cooperative. Didnt expect this from Disha(Gariahat)

Horrible experience today I went for power check up. I had problems while reading and writing from laptop and while watching tv. I was called thrice to check my power eventually they didnt get correct vision and top of that said to me that I dont need spects. Ridiculous.

Extremely disappointed with the quality of service they are providing went there for the eye related issue after 1 months of taking doctor;s prescribed Medicine . And the went for second visit Doctor said everything is fine without even understanding my problem

OPD is very good doctors fee is nominal.

My experience is horrible with Disha as spent close to Rs.4000 for a progressive lens and found that the vision is not correct still. Got the specs checked at Disha again to ensure its not the fault of the optical company who manufactured the lens. I got my eyes tested again to ensure it was not the fault of the hospital and what I got to hear is the person testing the eye purposefully gave a lower power to train my eyes to adjust to a lower power. Completely unheard of. I am never visiting this place again. Please understand Dr. Arnab Das. Your team is disastrous.

Its not good place for your eye, its best place for your.About Doctors they will not let you fill uncomfortable they will listen each and every thing from you then do their job. I like the way they respondStaff are too very helpful and co operative its okay some time they become angry and some time rude with someone but its part of their job.Overall if you come once will love the hospital and staff too.

Worst staff behavior. The lady at the reception thinks she is the owner of the hospital. She shouts at the top of her voice and didnt even care about patients. Their staff need a soft skill training.

Good place, well planned system of appointment, the whole process of eye checkup is fine. But as the place is a bit popular so one need to book his/her appointment 4-5 days before. The process of checkup is little bit time consuming but it is for a good reason I think because the doctors are spending more time on each patient. They have almost all facilities for a eye checkup and various eye surgeries are also done here, and the good thing is there service is reasonable and economical. I never had a eye checkup experience but went there twice with my parents and a friend so all I told about eye checkup is based upon there experience.

Disha eye care is only fancy stuff and no help. People checking your eye is not a doctor and by the time you visit the real doctor here, you can very much expect him to say that your eyes are in bad condition and prescribe you with their own medicines. Perhaps their cheating ways can be overlooked by people but not me. Having a history of eye problem from childhood I am very much familiar on this process and I can assure you Disha should never be your destination for eye checkup rest assured any operations.

Well equipped org....well atmosphere..doctors are finest....operation charges are affordable...Hospital location is in well rounded place....everything is fine nd ok...but among some of stuffs are need to take a little bit soft skill training....

The hospital is very good n all the test were done amazingly but when I went to buy the specks the guy was rude n the staff were not very comfortable showing me the correct frames to me according to my budget. Which is very sad. They took the order hurriedly but I really dont know how my frame will actually look on my face because the were trying to take the order ASAP n let me go from there. They were not ready to show me proper frames which can suit my face. I really dont know weather I did a right thing by ordering the specks from there or not? Rest the hospital part is amazing. But I m bit upset about this.

High Waiting Time for getting Appointment and also during Cataract Operation in OT. At 8.00 Am they have taken our patient for cataract operation and its already 4 hrs passed, still patients is waiting in OT for getting operate. No getting proper response from staffs. Also Very poor Medi Claim department.

The hospital is situated in the 3rd floor, and the facility is okay. However, although the system is quite orderly, its very, very slow. It took us more than 4 hours to get a simple retina checkup performed, for a relative of mine.

Disha amazed me. Today I called disha eye foundation for tomorrow appointment. But got a reply from representative that appointment is available only for 28th September. Wow all appointments are booked...

Unnecessary harrassed me .I was told to come to visit today for my cataract operation.They said because of the unavailibility of an injection,the operation wont be possible.I am a 75 yr old with weak legs,i though went there but without my goal not been completed.They gave me an appointment regarding my eye operation and the rest is what the outcome i have faced
