Mallikpur railway station is a Kolkata Suburban Railway Station on the Sealdah–Baruipur line with an approximate 22 kilometres (14 mi) distance from Sealdah railway station. It is under the jurisdiction of Eastern Railway zone. Mallikpur railway station is one of the busiest railway stations of Sealdah railway division. More than 80 pairs of E.M.U. Local Trains ply through the railway station on a daily basis. It is situated in South 24 Parganas district in the Indian State of West Bengal. Mallikpur railway station serves Mallikpur city and the surrounding areas. Electrification of the Sealdah–Mallikpur line was completed with 25 kV AC overhead system in 1965–66. In 1882; 137 years ago, the Eastern Bengal Railway constructed a 1,676 mm (5 ft 6 in) wide Broad Gauge Railway from Sealdah to Mallikpur.

Ticket counter service is extremely poor. Plateform is also dirty. Tap and drinking water services are worst. Entry and exit issue. Toilets are not in good condition.

The station is a small station before baruipur. Mallickpur area is yet to develop .The station is almost clean. There are few small shops lining the area. Water is available.Ticket counter is nearby . Toilets are there.The mallickpur market is just beside the station.

Mallikpur station is sealdah south part after 10 stop . It is very small station. Railway government should take some decisions to improve this station.need cleaner,some space and obviously maintenance.thats why Im rating it only 3.this station is next to subhas gram.

Mallickpur station is a small station in the Sealdah south section of the Sealdah Diamond Harbor, Sealdah Namkhana and Sealdah Lakhmikantapur section. This station comes just after subhas gram in down direction and just after Baruipur in up direction of trains. Some galloping trains donot stop here. Rest all the trains stop at this station. There is covered area for seating.

This station is located between Shubhasgram and Baruipur. Drinking water available but the toilet is not good at all. Also the station is not cleaned at all. Coz some traveller made the station dirty. One more thing I noticed that the station was crowded at morning and some person are there beside rail track. I am affraid of any mishap.

Shabby platform. Hawkers and various stalls occupied the place of platform. All time busy by passenger. Local train for Diamond Harbor, Namkhana , lakshimakantapur, Baruipur and sealdah available here. Drinking waterfacility are not very good. Immediate action should be taken to vacant Railway area to upgrade passenger amenities.

Very crowded and dirty place near rail get but very nice and desent area is kazi para which is the daily marketing area and everything is available in just 5 min. Away. And its really a nice and good place.

I got my property over therr which is under construction n its very peaceful place to live you love natural environment they can rent or buy thetr flat

Railway authority is quite indifferent for the development of this station.

Mallikpur railway station is one of the most busiest railway station in Sealdah South section. Only EMU trains are stopped here. The trains which are stopped here are, Baruipur Local, Diamond Harbour Local, Laxmikantapur Local, Kakdwip Local and Namkhana Local. There are 2 platforms in this station. Platform 1 is for UP trains, which are towards to Sealdah and platform 2 is for DOWN trains, which are form Sealdah.

There always water on the way .

.a small station of sealdah diamondharbar devision..most local train stop here...... train available in every hours.. ticket collectors are usually not present....small but useful station of south devision...... The next station is baruipur

22 KM south from calcutta it is rapidly developing suburb town famous for GANIMA( Ganimat-ul-khair) , a muslim shrine.It is well connected with calcutta metro city with 72 EMU services in a day.Its nice place with all amenities available around.
