I joined this School at class V and studied upto class X (Science). I left this School in 1965. I was an active cadet of National Cadet Corps, Army Wing, Junior Division. Our Troop no was 13. the Authorsied NCC Officer was Late Anshuman Pal. I did my first NCC Camp was at Adra, Purulia.Our NCC Battalion was 2nd Bengal Battalion NCC it is still located at Fort William. Later our troop was under 30th Bengal Bn NCC. I passed NCC proficiency exmination Part A I. I had two good friends who were in NCC Salil Chakraborty, of Assam & Sabyasachi Mazumdar of Taltala.In 1965 Civil Defence, Casualty Service, opened First Aid post No 72. They imparted traing us on First Aid. We manned 7x24 hrs this First Aid Post during 1985.

Those who call it a good school have never been to school. The classroom of 1910 is in ruins. There are classes, exams, no playground, no good bathroom. Nothing. The impression of age is clear. When the Kolkata Cape rises, this school and its children will be reduced to dust. This school should be demolished and rebuilt immediately. And who knows how the cow PSC dropped the exam here.
