This is a good school but needs to improve the teacher quality...... students who are studying here are really very co-operative..the school needs to stop going to fests very often because participants Miss classes while rehearsals......else than this the school is really very co-operative with everyone......

The school started good but now things are not in good shape. Academic activities deteriorated a lot in the last two years. Teachers keep changing frequently breaking threads of continuous understanding and the teacher-student bond. Important co-curricular activities like sports had lost importance and signing-dancing are gaining weight. The school needs a good Parmanent Principal as a mentor and leader. Who can impose leadership qualities in our kids. The school also missed the chance to start +2 (11 & 12), which shows that the promoter of this institution is putting his attention elsewhere. AWS is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi (CBSE). The school follows the Middle Class Syllabus (I-VIII) Scheme of CBSE. It is now preparing for Provisional Affiliation of the Secondary Classes (IX-X).

As far as I know, Adamas world school is the best CBSE school in Barasat. In Last years, class10 board exam,the results were very satisfactory as many as 9 students got more than 90% out of 34 and about 15 got more than 80%.Now, the school is giving importance not only to the academics but also to the extra curricular activities.The faculty of the school is very good and experienced. There are extra classes for those who are interested to appear for JEE OR NEET exams by Adamas career teachers. Morever,now the school is also participating in many inter-school activities which helps to boost the confidence of the students and also taking students to watch good inspirational and patriotic movies like- Super 30 and Mission Mangal as a part of educational adventure.So, I am very happy and proud to be an AWSIAN

Behaviour of school staff is very bad. As i called to enquire about some important matter. They avoided it and did cutdown the call. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Very recent my daughter who is 6 years old went to this place for admission test. Her exam was for 2 hours . When she came back we had to wait 1 and half hour to meet with principal... till then nobody would even ask us a glass of water. The mostly educated people (“adamas teachers”) called us . Where my 6 years daughter knows to greet a person ‘hello’ ... the respected teachers didn’t know a grassroot level of etiquette 😕. Then one of them started saying all the negative reviews about my daughter infront of her ... she is quite enough to break somebody’s confidence level within 5 min...Her phone was ringing when she was already in the interview 😅what a techno friendly teacher👏🏻.after that I have heard she did the same drama with so many other kids too...

Good school .....extremely happy to send my child ....... only cleanliness needs to be look into a little .

I had recently applied for admission of my daughter to class Nursery. The administration of the school is pathetic...first they misplaced my daughters admission application form. Second, they said that the results of the admission test would be out in 24 hours...but it took them 5 days. There was a admission test on 12th Nov 2018. My daughter was selected for Toddler...which meant 1 class below the correct class for a 4 year old. This was based on no logic...only the whims of the principal Mr DAbreo. I remember one child who did not even go alone for the admission test even after repeated persuasion of his parents. He was selected for Nursery but my daughter was not as I found out yesterday through the results declared on the schools website. Defies any logic. Maybe this is based on data collected through income proof...the fees of toddler standard are higher. Mr DAbreo is also a very ill mannered person who asks working mothers to sit at home to take care of the children. I think Mr Sumit Roy needs to throw out this unworthy person out of his school.

School is good enough, but the only issue is the incontinence of teachers makes it problematic in the mid sessions. Extra curricular activities as per CBSE curriculum is not carried out in proper way, thought they have started taking a bit care about sports. Needs the proper attention of the Chairman Mr. Samit Roy. He remains occupied with the collage and university part mostly. The fee structure is almost similar to the most demanded school of Kolkata, but students academics needs urgent attention obviously by the school committee. The regular Worksheet program sometimes remains out of focuse.

It is most necessary for this school, one book shop and dress shop is permanently keep it in the school. Fees is to much but facilities not satisfactory.
