Very few cafes in Kolkata serves good food and Mrs magpie is certainly one of them. Good sandwiches, great omlets or pasta, whatever you choose will be good. Their sweet section is also one of the best, which makes them kind of unique. The cupcakes are very very good. Price is reasonable and the service is very nice.

They serve the best hairy pasta in city.Check the image , u ll find a curly hair.None of their coom wear any head gear while cooking, not expected.

A quaint little place which is a must visit for people with a sweet tooth. Each piece is beautifully crafted and equally exquisite in taste. The cookies are the right texture, the brownies delicious, the cupcakes a must have and the cakes superb.

We tried the Mushroom Quecha, chocolate shake, cafe latte and a few cupcakes. All of them were lip smacking. The service was prompt and courteous. The ambience is really good. Overall, a nice place to spend your evening.

Food was great. Not sure if I can say the same about the service provided. I didnt like the behaviour of the staff. But the hot chocolate was out of this world. They could probably work on providing better customer service. For example, if a customer wants to shift to a different table because theyre not comfortable in the place they initially chose to sit at on a fairly non-busy day when other tables are empty, the staff shouldnt lie about the empty tables being reserved when they werent actually reserved. 😟 Date of visit 25th July 2021

I ordered forest friends cake for my 5 th anniversary through swiggy. My husband and also my 1 year old daughter like this cute cake. The taste of the cake is delicious. Its sweet and salt in taste. Food portions are small and a bit over priced. However it is definitely worth a visit to try the cupcakes, sandwiches, pasta, coffee or chocolate drink. Lovely ambience and friendly staff behaviour mark this place.

Food is really good. You could choose to sit outside. Deserts are delicious. Its really cosy inside as well. Service is really good. Restaurant parking isnt available but you could park nearby.

The quality of the food is great! I was head over heels by the taste of the cute muffins. We ordered pasta bowl and sandwiches and hot chocolate as well. Quantity would suffice your belly. The hospitality is also up to the mark. A must visit for all the cafe lovers. A hangout joint if you want to relax and chit chat with your best companion.

Entering this space makes one feel like they have been whisked back in time to an English tea party. Mrs Magpie manages to be both charming and eclectic with its décor. As one restaurant review put it, its akin to falling down the rabbit hole and attending the Mad Hatters Tea Party. The furniture is a mix of old and new with colourful walls and many quaint touches. Space is very likely to be crowded with patrons whenever you go. The menu here is varied and has something for every palate. Predominantly selling bakery items, the place has incorporated Indian and Bengali favourites in its list too making it one of the favourite cafes in Kolkata.

I used to visit this cafe for the ambiance and even better hot chocolate until they changed the kind of hot chocolate that they used to serve. The hot chocolate lost its thickness and I lost my enthusiasm. The cup cakes look great but are highly overpriced.

It is always a treat visiting Mrs Magpie; not just for its food and tea or coffee but for the very ambience of the place. The cafe seems to be made by enlarging a doll house.Imagining the tiny Tasty Cupcakes and Warm Dense Hot Choclate... I, in an empiphany had ordered The Moroccan Salad: Spicy Name, Spicy Salad! ...except its everything but that. The Salads main ingredient is the Cabli Chola, mixed with a tinge of sweetness by Cranberry(or was it Blackberry?), and beautiful leaves. However the sad tastelessness of the Cablichola to one, not much appreciating the same, makes the dish a hell. Its something you may not want to go for, if you are not on a diet.

Standard has fallen drastically.Tea was too hot in flimsy paper cups.Too hot,very basic pizza which was definitely not thin crust as recommended.Missed the small cup cakes in the display. No scones Tables should be remodelled for more than two persons.Very distressing experience at a much loved place.

Mrs. Magpie was always on my wishlist....I was wanting to visit for a very long-time, So one fine day after office i decided to visit this place and was very i was very much impressed with their hygine standards and i ordered a small Hot Chocolate. It was absolutely delicious.It was a wonderful experience for me, The staffs were very good and i also bought home some nice cakes which too very delicious.Thank You Mrs. Magpie for such amazing experience. A shout out to their amazing ambience! The baked deserts are an absolute delight. Pasta was decent too. Must tries are the little cupcakes (though theyre too pretty to eat; picture not included). The brownies, although tasty, couldve had a little more cocoa flavor in them. The best bit of treat for me were the complementary tea biscuits. They were simply heavenly!

The cutest bakery cafe most famous for its delectable and extremely pretty selection of cupcakes. But it also serves the BEST hot chocolate on the city which is comparable to molten Cadbury silk! Dont forget to add marshmallows to to enhance the mouthfeel of a steaming cup!

Lovely idea for the mini sized cupcakes. Its perfevt size and you could try more than one flavour instead of having a big one. Loved the mint chocolate flavour. The sour cherry flavour was quite mild. Blueberry scones (served with cream and butter amd jam) were nice but a tiny bit salty.

Ordered cake for My sons bday. It was a dslr camera cake !! Everything was taken care of without visiting the store over calls n WhatsApp.they were extremely polite n eager to keep up to my expectation. Cake was pricey but that was not at all a problem for they didnt compromise on the standard. It was home delivered on time n with utmost care.will always be ordering cake from them for all occasions..even after 3 days from the order the remaining cake tasted yummy.thank you Mrs Magpie for making the day so memorable..

Very cosy place. Received warm hospitality. The decorations could have been a little better. Instead of using stickers, paint the walls. The bill holder and bird theme was great. The food is good. The place small. It gets stuffy inside when it is running at full capacity and they are cooking for their guests. Since there is no separate cooking area, the steam spreads through the sitting area. Chimney didnt seem to work too fine either. Only saving grace? Tada a real fancy place for a fancy breakfasty thing. But yeah the ambiance & services are A class. Love the presentation of the dishes. Best food quality. And as it is a cafe, the coffees are treat to both mouth and eyes 💋😍 My favourite is Coffee Caramel Custard, it makes me cry whenever it melts in my mouth. A bit expensive though, but its quite classy and i recommend to go there in the mornings especially when it is early & sunny because aah you will love the look inside and you will find peace there.

Mrs Magpie is a wonderful place for brunch. The quality of food is quite good and the interiors gives off a vibe which will make you think of England. The hot chocolate is a must, it tastes like heaven!!! Its not too thick nor too milky, just the right consistency. I wish I knew the recipe so I could make it by myself... Everything is awesome, and the price is reasonable. A better alternative to Flurrys

An amazingly cute place with beautiful cupcakes and an extensive savory menu as well. We had the veg harissa sandwich (not very amazing), cheese scones (nice), mushoom quiche (really good) and a Moroccan salad (lush, fresh and yummy). I tried the After 8ish cupcake which unfortunately looked better than it tasted. The complementary cookies we got with our pot of Moroccan tea were much better than the cupcake. But all in all definitely a place worth visiting, I think we might be back as well.

Situated in southern avenue not so far from the golpark..It was last Saturday..We reached there by 5.30pm.. The place was already crowded.. So we had to wait.. After spending 10 more minutes we got a table..Now coming to the ambiance..The decor is cute.. The color theme is based on pastel shades..Mainly pink.. Butterflies (art) are everywhere..Now the main thing i.e. food..We ordered cupcakes, fruit punch, mini hot chocolate and brownie with icecream.. All are good.. Personally Ill be more happy if the cupcake size was bigger.. Otherwise everything is fine.. Will visit again ☺️

The restaurant is located in Lake Terrace Road near Vivekananda Park in Gariahat. It is a very homely restaurant with the cutest and most colourful decorations that Ive seen in a long time complete with dolls, paintings and ornamental lights. Its a very quaint and peaceful restaurant, a perfect place for a date!I ordered:Chicken Sliders as my main course. Chocolate Milk Chake with Chocolate Chips as my beverage, and Nutty Praline cupcake as my desert.The Chicken Slider was a dish with three miniature chicken burgers with french fries,The chocolate milk shake was delicious and it was served in a cute Keventer-like bottlebut the cupcake was definitely the highlight. What can I say? Your visit to Mrs. Magpie isnt complete untill you try their cupcakes.The quality of the food was good, but in my opinion, when compared with the quantity it was a bit overpriced. But all in all its a place I definitely recommend you to visit, atleast once!

Nice interiors with old british styled furnishing. great english breakfast and a perfect pot of Darjeeling tea will surely leave your tastebuds wanting for more. We ordered the Garden omelette topped with chicken and a pot of Darjeeling which serves for two. The taste is awesome. Try out the cakes n pastries too

The ambience was really homely. Warm welcome with a bell on entry. Staff were well behaved. Food portions are small, so it is a bit over priced. Anyhow, overall a good, homely, chill experience.

The hot chocolate was really good. Marshmallow can be a game changer. And I loved their twist of mint (which came as a fondant) on rich fruit cupcake. It mellowed the sticky sweetness of a traditional fruit cake.

After a brief research on Google and the Zomato reviews, finally decided to have it from Mrs.Magpie.Ordered today via swiggy, one mini hot chocolate, the monkey marzipanimal and shepherds pie.Have been planning to visit the outlet since Ive come to Kolkata. Coming to the food items, the shepherds pie was just perfect and the cupcake was oh-so-cute! The details and efforts put behind that tiny thing really amazed me.Now, the most important thing - the hot chocolate. This is the first time I was trying this one and I actually realized why feluda, topshe and jatayu were a big fan of this drink!! Its too good.Will definitely visit the outlet soon to try the English breakfast and pastas.

Food is good not too oily or buttery. Had omlet , tortillas pizza, fish and chips but the bakery is what wins the day, excelent cup cakes- you are in for a surprise with every bite.A must try is the hot chocolate and cupcakes. Went to Mrs Magpie on a Tuesday morning. The place is not so spacious, but the decór is really cute. We ordered, Irish coffee;chocolate n cream;and marmy vanilla cupcakes, espresso and creamy cheese and chickenpuffs club sandwich and chicken sliders. The cupcakes looked very cute with a tiny marzipan bumble bee smiling and sitting on top of the ganache of irish coffee cupcake, but,they were really really mini and were not fresh or moist. The creamy cheese puff also were ok ok-ish, the chickenpuffs were good though. The espresso was really strong and it wasnt even filled half the cup in which it was served. The club sandwich was really not upto the mark. Very disappointed with that. But the chicken sliders were yummy! The platter had 3 pieces of mini chicken sliders with crispy potato chips. Overall the experience was ookkaay.. and i felt the price is a bit high compared to the quantity of food provided, but i wouldnt mind going back again and trying other stuffs!

Total waste. I have oredered birthday cake for my wife forest friend. The portion of the cake Id very small, same was not mentioned in the listing. The packaging was pathetic. After viewing the review I have ordered this, but couldnt guess these are fake. Very disappointed.. Waste of money .. Ruined my day.
