Because of covid they are not allowing anybody in except one person per day. The result is that relatives have to wait outside on the road without any seats and that includes little children as well. At the same time they allow cars into the driveway where children now have to be. The unthinking nature of these measures can only be attributed to an uncaring management. So if you see the word care in their name, know that they do not deserve to use it now.

Best Hospitality have seen till now by any hospital. Doctors, nurses and supporting Staff are so caring and helpful. As a team, they really bring the commitment to real platform.. We blessed with a baby girl on 04/08/2021 and they way Team taken care of my wife and baby is really remarkable.. Hats off to you Team.

Treatment of the baby will be good but once you wife got admitted they will traet patient party like a slave.I spend almost 2 lakhs for by baby but the very next day when I came to hospital with my wife for a medical test they told my wife who not use lift even they dont allow to enter my cars.This is the behaviour they do.

I did not have any good experience there in hospital at Rawdon street. I went there today for check up of my daughter who is 1 year old for the first time. The doctor took 800 charge for checking my daughter but the most important thing is that he only gave us 1 or 2 mins and he completed everything in those 1 or 2 mins and me and my husband is out of the cabin withour proper examine. He didnt listen toh our problems fot which we have visited. He was in such hurry that he didnt clarifies any of our issues. Pathetic. I am not going to visit there anymore.

This might be a good hospital. But pathetic management. They dont even have a waiting area. I had to wait outside in a busy road. Disappointed.

Hospital is really good for Delivery and Child care. My son born on 4th June 21. All the stuffs and nurses are well trained for handling the Mother and child both. And Facility and infrastructure wise hospital is really well equipped specifically for Child health.Even if before admitting to the hospital some of my friends suggest that bill will be huge, hospital charges unnecessary bill, fake bill for Covid cases, baby unnecessary bill, like that rumors but at the time discharge I am getting proper bill which is expected and no hidden charge or no wrong bill hospital were made.Me and my wife are really happy with the services provided by the hospital.

Worst customer care and experience with Neotia New Town. Today, I called the hospital to inform about the issue but no response from their side. I have been transferred multiple times and put on hold now for more than 40 minutes and I had to disconnect the call and they kept the phone just like that on hold. My weight and BP measurement was written randomly by the person without even measuring. I was not informed about the same. Today when I checked the prescription, I found that information in the prescription, however my BP and weight was not taken on that day.

Best place to get your delivery done. The staff is so helpful and caring. The moment you step in, they treat you like a princess. The security, Liftman, housekeeping, nurses other staffs...each and everyone is well behaved and very polite.Best doctors and facilities are available. There rooms and nursery are very clean and tidy.Canteen services are excellent. Food served is hygienic and very tasty. They staff always approaches with positive attitude. Had a great experience!

Everything is good at Bhagirathi Neotia except the waiting arrangements for patient family members. This is a maternity special hospital and it is very obvious that patients parents will be waiting anxiously for hearing good news from their daughter. But sadly, the management doesnt pay hid to this area. Its tough to believe that such a big nursing home cant arrange for seating arrangements of 15-20 people. I understand that pandemic is going on and all, but now a days almost all of the 60+ people have been vaccinated and they should be offered proper seating arrangements by the manegement.

The hospital has good doctors but the administration of the hospital has a very bad attitude always trying to bluff the patient party. Eg doctor advised to do USG scan of patient for 11 to 13 weeks but the diagnostic department manipulated us to also give sample for blood test which was not at all required. It cost is 3500 INR. This is absolutely unethical business practice and an effort to bluff the patients for money. Not recommended at allSimply disagree with the response of the hospital. The doctor did not ask for the test to be conducted. The receptionist kept on insisting a busy doctor till the point she was irritated and said ok. The test cost us 3500 INT which has no utility in our case and also there is no recommendation from the doctor in writing which makes it impossible to claim the reimbursement from my insurer. This is absolute bluffing.

They denied us Access to the washroom. Any hospital or hotel cannot deny washroom access to a woman and they did that.. pathetic

Good Hospital with top pediatricians in place. Both of my child are under Ruma Roy, one of the best homely doctor I have ever seen.But at night the emergency services at hospital are not upto the mark. They are interested more on selling 2 PPE kits rather then to attend a patient who have fever over 102.I would request the authority to look into it as the hospital could loose credibility due to such activities.

I am giving this rating to Rawdon street hospital only, but not to Newtown one. My wife got admitted at Newtown branch of this hospital. Due to one of the issue, I had to call them and by mistake I have dialed the Rawdon street branch, as I didnt know the exact number. I just collected the number from Google only and I thought that is the number of Newtown branch. One lady from reception picked the call and her speaking tone was so rude. I was referring to one of the room number where patient was admitted, which they didnt have in Rawdon street actually. So she was saying how that was possible. She told it must be in Newtown, then I said yes and I asked for the desired contact number. She started saying with rude voice that how I didnt know the number and she can call out only once for me. Anyway she has given the number. Seems like the lady didnt know the hospitality and she is unprofessional. Maybe she is the only person who behaved like this and rest might be good, but this kind of attitude is never expected from receptionist/ admin.On the other side, all the staffs at Newtown branch are so humble and polite. Their behavior are much appreciated and I am pleased with their service. I have given a very good rating for them.

I was under the supervision of Dr.Samir Kr Ray,had a positive(which is very important for the mom)and overwhelming experience of normal vaginal delivery at Neotia.The whole team was very supportive and courageous at the labour room and theyre excellent at their job.Met Dr.Shweta Dutt she was great(attended me when my labour began early morning)My childs pediatrician Dr.Ruma Ray is a very wise and straightforward lady.The resident dctr was very efficient too.Nurses are very caring and professional.Dietitian is attentive.Took really good care of my diet.I chose the vegetarian option.Good food,less spicy but tasty,suitable for a patient.I was admitted there on 15th June 2021(evening).Had my baby on 16th june 2021 at 11am.I was discharged on 19th June 2021 at 12pm.My total bill was 1lac 37k(1lac 7k was mine,30k for the baby).Their charge is 65k for c section and 55k for normal delivery.I opted for Ac twin sharing, which costs 5k per day.The nursery charge is 2k perday.One thing I just didnt like ,that is sitz bath equipment, they should upgrade it asap.

When I called for an emergency assistance for my baby (age 2.5 years) at 1.35am on 19th June, 2021 one of customer service executive suggest me to admit my child to a multy specialist hospital, where she didnt even know my babys problem.This is totally unspected.

So happy with their hospitality, the nurses are well trained, helpful, well behaved, services also good, but only one concern about the reception after the entrance, they are not professional at all..they dont care about the patient or their guardian, if you talk to them in English they will response or else no, happened with me...once I started talking in English they started showing the concern...I believe being a frontend person they should give priority to each and everyone comes there irrespective their language. This was horrible experience, except the front desk rest everyone was very good...

They are fraud and blot on the name of medical fraternity.They will not provide you hospital ot notes they will charge you for it and then also will not supply same on time.

Everything is good in Neotia, apart from the OPD visitors rules. I understand the pandemic situation but they should allow atleast both the parents with the baby. Its really disgusting, when you baby is not well and you are allowing only a single person with her. I wouldnt have commented this if it was an adult instread of a baby.

Dr Sougata Acharyy one of the best doctor in hospital and he is very polite n well advised . Dr Pallab Chatterjee he has seen my daughter in fist time I heard about him he is aslo well advised . All nursing staffs are well behaved n maneer they ar ver courtous about my daughter very carefully . foods are very testy n hygienic. Amidst the rise in Covid +ve cases, the staff and management should be more strict in maintaining atleast the basic practices of providing sanitizers and checking tempearture for everyone entering the premises. On my visit to the Rawdon Street premises on 24th April, I found the security very much lacking in performing these basic precautions. Lets hope BNWCCC is actually caring about your care.

I ,Aratrika Dujari, have given birth to my princess last week on 04th sep. I would deffinately recommend this hospital. But I have mixed review about the services.. my EDD was 2nd oct but as my water broke I had get admitted in emergency and since my covid test was not done I had to be in isolation for 2nights.. which was a nightmare... The sisters in the isolation ward are so bad they treated me like a prisoner I had no access to phn they would give me cold food sometimes without cuttlery. Would not response to the call bell for one hour.. i was bedridden my baby was crying I felt so helpless.. i would name Priyanka and Shibani among worst attendants. I was in 403 . However when I was shifted to 507 my experience was amazing service was 5star standard. My last 2nights were in complete contrast to the first two nights. Special thanks the dietician Ankana Sengupta who listened to all my grievances and took very good care of my diet.

Visited the hospital for my delivery booking...there was only one person in the reception. Who hardly had any time for my query. No one to assist. Waited for 40 mins then had to return without booking.

Very good hospital but in case of refund there will be a lot of harassment, if you visit hospital they will tell you to write application and then they will tell you that administration department will call you within 2-3 working days to take account details for refund, still no one will call back, if you call after that period of time, again they will tell that concern department will refund within 10 to 15 days. I am waiting for there call. They dont even reply email. Beware of these types of cases in this hospital, they will even take your original payment receipt and even dont want to sign in the copy receipt or give hospital stamp.

My Wife was admitted to the Bhagirathi Neotia Woman and Child Care Centre, Rawdon street on 26th July2018 afternoon in emergency delivery condition. Emergency team was much fast to prepare the OT and other things on time. I was blessed with a baby girl withing an hour of admission in the hospital. I was with my wife throughout the C-section delivery inside the OT as Neotia permits husbands during delivery with surgeon consent. We have booked for a single room cabin which was given after the OT completed and I stayed for with my wife till discharge.( Chargeable at Rs.1400/- per day including break fast, lunch,snacks, dinner and 2 times tea to the attendant a day).It was a nice stay of 3 days for my new born, my wife and me. Every where it was clean and seems cleanness was their main criteria. Foods given to me and my wife where very good and delicious. ( Less oily, less spicy but have hood taste.). The best part of Neotia was the Nurses/sisters where very polite ,good in behavior and experience. They take care of their patients. On the night of delivery Frequent rounds every 15- 20 mins where taken by the nurses.Babies are kept in nursery where experienced nurses are taking care of the babies nicely. After daily visiting hours ( twice daily - morning/evening) , house keeping staffs where cleaning the cabins after which babies are brought to their moms.We were discharged in 3 days as mother and baby where stable and normal. Our total bill was approx. Rs. 95,000/-. including single room stay, 3 days attendant stay(myself) (1400/day), OT charges, Nursery charges, baby doctor fees. Excludes - Surgeon fees.Off course the charge is on the much higher side, but to maintain cleaniness,competent staff, good food high cost is required. If you want to compromise with care,cleaniness,food and other essential things with money then it can be found in many hospitals in kolkata.Last but not the least Reception team and billing team was also good and competent. But some moments I filled due to over crowding and work load they get messed up and become irritative and rude in behavior.Which should be taken care by the administrator.

Registration charges for annual subscription are taken at very visit unnecessarily from patients.

Very ill mannered and foolish rules and regulations are being implemented here which does not make any sense .. if they are so scared of corona it will be better to shut the hospital altogether. I will never book neotia again.

Horrible behaviour from Management and Security Services

Went for vaccination for 9months old daughter. By policy they allow just one person with patient.But it is impractical for one person to hold 9months old in one arm, at the same time hold her diaper bags, formula feeds, do the billing, pacify the baby after getting shot, pay her for the vaccine and leave without any help.Atleast kids below 15 months need additional assistance .They didnt even allow additional person to do the billing and come back.During Covid times, u should be careful but not stupid.

Extremely expensive.. these guys make sure the bill is comparable to 7star hotel. At least 15-20k bill is added unnecessarily for sure. Staff are ok but not as per 7 star hotel. They play on the fear factor of gullible parents. No sane minded parent will object to any cost for his new born and that is what they capitalise on..

There is no waiting room outside OT. They keep you standing at the staircase for an hour where there is no AC or Fan. I was expecting far better treatment of patient families and needs of a common man.

Pathetic service! You cant book an appointment without waiting for more than an hour on the phone. Hopeless. Have been trying since yesterday and today morning to get an appointment but neither do they have an online system and neither do they pick up the call. Apparently they are busy! Then recruit more staff for Gods sake!

I had my baby in bhagirathi neotia rowdan street..Superb hospital with outstanding facilities..All the staffs working their have a very good behavior for the patient..Have my own experience..Food quality is too good they maintain hygiene in every way possible..Too tasty foods..over all Im satisfied with the hospital service and my baby was also taken care nicely in the nursery..

They told whole package will cost 75000 including doctor and Anastasia cost , 4 days package for my wife, but during discharge my total bill is 126000/- on four sharing basis. Chief minister of west Bengal should take care of this type of all private hospital in and around west Bengal. Though the nursing staff are well. But administration is very poor.

One of the worst time management hospital where no matter how ill or sick you are they will make you wait for atleat 3 hours..the receptionist and doctors are equally rude and impolite behaviour..there are plenty of hospitals so I would not recommend anyone for this hospital.

Nurse are untrained, the doctor who has done the I’v to my 9 month old it’s very bad, they will not allow anyone to see how they are doing it, they will tie the kid with belt and put pillows on their feet and them scared. The doctor (Dr Shakuntala) was really knowledgeable & nice and therefore decided to get my wife’s procedure conducted here.To my utter surprise (rather disappointment & disgust) the hospital authorities have absolutely no sense of hygiene.1) Could not believe post surgery, a cleaner on duty (& while mopping the floor) and the lift man were asked to shift my wife to her bed ???Forget about respecting a female patient’s right to be asked if she would permit to be attended by a male attendant.2) non of the nurses (& of course the cleaner and the lift man too) had gloves or masks on3) the corridor was stinking from the food trays that were left outside the rooms perhaps for more an hour till I had asked them to be removed.I am sure this wasn’t the first time rather a regular practice here. I am writing this note so the next patient is saved from risks that a post surgery patient is exposed to in this hospital. This note is to remind the hospital authority of the very purpose of a hospital. I SINCERELY HOPE THE HOSPITAL AUTHORITIES TAKE SERIOUS NOTE.

Very poor operator assistance. I called up the hospital to simply inquire if epidural anesthesia was available for normal delivery. The operator was very rude and routed my call to 3 different people before I could get a response. Even then they were not able to confirm the cost, reason being they have no standard cost for epidural. This was very weird. I would expect the cost to be fixed for standard procedures especially at well known hospitals like Bhagirathi Neotia.

In my opinion this is the best nursing home in West Bengal. The doctors, nursing staffs, management and all workers are very genuine in providing their duties and obligations. Apparently the cost may be a bit high but if compared with other nursing homes, the services that Bhagirathi Neotia provides are value for money. Cleanliness, quality of diet, provided, infrastructure, medical equipment etc all are up to the mark. Specially the paediatrician Dr Chandan Ray is an excellent doctor who treats children with utmost sincererity, devotion and care. I strongly recommend that all parents who can afford, to go to the nursing home and opd for speedy recovery of their children.

They are good with caring for the mother, but baby care system is very very very poor - the staff is undertrained and the system does not allow for a comfortable post-delivery experience for the baby. They do not follow basic WHO guidelines like allowing the baby to breastfeed within 1-3 hours of delivery; feeding the baby on demand round the clock (babies are not hard wired for schedule, but they are hard wired for feeding). My baby was brought to me after almost 9 hours of my C-section and taken away in less than 3 mins. My baby was wailing but the nurse took her away giving us no chance to bond in the first 24 hours! Every time I asked for the baby be brought into my room (I had a private room, not sharing), they were reluctant and always took her away in 1 hour! I was surprised that they provided zero nursing support within the room and the staff in the feeding room were very rough and did little to help. They would call me into the feeding room every 3-4 hours and allowed me 20-25 mins, but since my baby was sleepy, she would barely feed for more than 5-7 mins actively in one session, so they would give her formula as top up. I hardly spent 3 hours a day during my 5-day stay at the hospital, and she was forced to primarily rely on formula. I did not know any better back then(she is my first baby), but now I can now look back and say the poor practices of the hospital was the primary reason for my breastfeeding woes in the following 3 weeks at home. Also, worth mentioning that our paediatrician was the worst - made no contact with us until the night before the discharge (which also happened because we complained to the management).

U have to wait for 3-4 hours if u arrive at 10 am to get admitted.then they will tell u there r no beds.so u HV to go for deluxe or ICU.this will cost u extra like 10k- 15 k.wats amazing is that it happens with everybody! Service is pathetic.less manpower more money demanding.dnt prebook.coz it will NT get u any advantage.after 4 hr ordeal and waiting as an expectant mother plus paying extra bucks I dnt HV any will to come BK here again ND b fooled.plus I strongly feel the good reviews here r NT genuine.

Is parking available?

One of the most nice Hospitals in Kolkata. They charge a bit high but their service is very very good. Staffs are helpful and always with a smile on their face. Everything is process oriented and I think this is the only hospital which starts treatment of the patient even before you complete all formalities of admission. Dr. Ruma Roy who is a Pediatrician is one of the most experienced doctors of this hospital. I just love this and will refer others also. Lastly their canteen in top floor serves excellent tasty food, cost is reasonable. I would request them if they can also start a system for men also, along with women and children.

This women and children care center is very conveniently located in rowdon street at the junction of park Street near mullick bazaar. This center takes good care of new born babies. It has got incubator facility. The centre has got lift. Attending staff are nice

I went for my USG pregnancy to Neotia on Rawdon Street and was extremely disappointed by the unprofessional conduct of the sonologist, Dr. Prem Kamani who did my usg. She was not open to questions during the procedure, yet had all the time in the world to yap with the nurse regarding her breakfast schedules, and all this, while holding the probe on my belly. The facilities seemed out dated as well and the room was not clean. The nurse assisting, seemed clueless and unavailable for any assistance.I usually get my pregnancy scans done in Apollo Bypass by Dr. Kanchan Mukherjee of whose expertise and professionalism, the more said is less. Not only is he completely engrossed in the procedure when he is doing this, he explains all relevant details and accomodates all my questions. The room where the procedure is done is impeccably clean and the nurses and staff assisting are helpful and meticulous as well.The reports i received from Apollo for usg pregnancy were far more detailed than the one i received from Neotia for the same scan.It is expected that Neotia, being a maternity hospital, should pay attention to something as important as having a good fetal radiologist and nurses who are empathetic towards pregnant women.USG pregnancy costs 2000 in neotia and 3000 in apollo. I would not mind paying a 1000 more at Neotia if i were to get the same experience here.

Very Bad experience ...rude staff... Went there for hsg... no medicines were prescribed before the test. During the test only one doctor n a staff to assist. This is a very painful test and at least u need 2 people to assist you.what I heard from their conversation they didnt had proper instruments as well. But when I called up Rajarhat neotia.. excellent staff..very polite.. she told me what medicines to take before the test and what all I have to get it with me.

Bhagirathi Neotia NewtownThere is no power in hospital from 11Sept 2018 2pm. 24 hours nopower. Hospital is working on emergency light. No lifts were working for 8 hours. Stand fan has been given to patient after 8hours of suffering. cannot expect from top of hospital declared as best for mother and child care. very poor management on power backup.Disaster may happen - to recover and have backup plan is essential- absolute negligence. No sure what would have happened if patient was in OT when lights went off!

It provides pre and post natal care but is for high end customers. Services are good.

Very bad experience...they dont care about patient only focus on money....if u take time to manage money they will not admin even cant see the criticality of patients.... only money minded.

Soft services requires more attention. Behavioural aspect. Although infrastructure and other services meets ur expectation. Both of my daughters born in this hospital and to an extent i am satisfied.

Best of its class in eastern India specially for child care,women care is also there.but now a days the hospital is very overcrowded where you hardly get a chair to seat at OPD and wait time is not less than half an hour ever

Neotia (mullickbazar branch)I took my baby to emergency for choking hazard on 8th May, 2019 at 9:00 pm. The receptionist was very kind and helpful. The doctor, Rajib Bhawal, who checked the baby was also very humble and calm. He answered all our questions. We are thankful to them. The reason why I am taking away 2 star is because of the nurse who came for the vital signs assessment and to assist the doctor. She was extremely rude and annoying. She came and asked what happened to the baby and even before I could say anything she took us to another room for weighing the baby. Then she placed a thermometer on my childs underarm but the thermometer had some problem, it was not beeping and the baby was getting restless. She only said ye thermometer ko kya hua (what happened to this thermometer) Then she went out of the room. After sometimes when she came in, and I showed her the thermometer reading she told in a very rude way arre bukhar to nahi hai (there is no fever). After that, while checking the oxygen saturation of the baby, I asked her what she was doing she did not answer. I asked her again she did not reply. I asked her again she did not answer again. The fourth time I shouted at her. Only then she said that I am checking the saturation. She seemed very irritated throughout the time we were there. I do not know her name. There was no name on her uniform but we had a very bad experience with this particular nurse. We were in a panic situation when we left our home as my babys face was turning blue and he was unable to breath. A nurse like her is a shame to the nursing profession itself. The hospital should keep staffs that should abide by the hospitals motto A hospital with hospitality. Let hospitality actually show in all the staffs working there and not just remain a tagline only on their website.
