Ordered Masala Dosa and Dahi Vada.Dahi Vada was good enough, it has some dry fruits in the dahi. Liked it.The dosa was also good but the sambar instead of being sweet & sour, it was salty. The chutney was also not bad but not good enough. The crispiness of the dosa was also ok. All in one, the masala dosa was average good.Packaging was also good. The dahi vada was packed in a container & bhujia was provided in a plastic packet. The dosa was covered in a paper with a banana leaf covering the dosa. Sambar and chutney was packed in plastic packets. Overall packaging was hygiene maintained.

Probably the only south Indian food joint in Santoshpur. located on the main road, this food joint is there since ages and always busy. I am a frequent visitor to this place. Idli, dosa, samvad bada, dahi vada typical south indian delicacies are available. I cannot claim their dosa tastes best because I have had better dosa elsewhere. They have some seating arrangements but its mostly takeaway. I do not like the samvad daal here, it lacks the authentic taste. If they improve it, I would be happier.

Ordered 2 Masala Dosas and Sambar Vada via Zomato.The Dosas arrived packed in paper and a piece of banana leaf. They werent too crispy but since delivery takes 10+ minutes its difficult to maintain the crispiness of a dosa. Accompaniments included sambar, white coconut chutney and a red chutney. The sambar for the Vada was not packed separately.The Masala Dosa had potato curry and raw onions inside. It was slightly salty whereas the sambar lacked salt. The red chutney was quite spicy and delicious. The Vadas were not too soft and fluffy.

Have tasted their food since inception of the shop when a piece of Idli (Rice cake) used to cost 5Rs..now it has become 10Rs.Although not authentic South Indian taste but one of the best in this vicinity.Note- On weekends due to heavy demand and less manpower you might see a delayed delivery by your Swiggy delivery boy.

New Om Shakti is a really good restaurant. The price of the food is reasonable and the quality is also good for the price.

The Bengalis dont like sour and rich taste of curry leaves. Thats why inspite of the fact that the cook is from Tamil Nadu, the taste isnt pure. Who adds loads of sugar in saambar ?! m sure even the cook hates it but still helplessly adds bengali sweetness in it.

I tried this resrestaurant for the the first time. I ordered dahi vada. Honestly i am happy with that. This Dahi vada contains dry fruits also. Taste was also good. Hope next time will get the same taste.This is my 2nd review for this food store. Food packaging and food taste was so bad and decided not to order from this store again.

Ive had masala Dosa and utthapam, both was okayish. The flavour is not at all like how you will find it sound. This is more of like a Kolkata version of South Indian food. Although they sell like hotcakes but its not authentic.

Its food is really great in test. Price is reasonable. Must try dahi bara and dahi idly. One star less for coconut chutney.
