This place is located inside Rabindra Sarobar lake (also called Dhakuria Lake)only.Its a park with full of hundred of different trees, there are many exercise equipments along with a playground we can also see the lake.A very good place for morning walks,evening walks and for doing exercises.A Good place for kids,friends..

A very beautiful park with a scenic beauty and the surrounding is filled with greeneries. It also has a great air gym for workouts.

It is a pretty good park with nice and fun gym equipment! Apart from that, it has a variety of swings and such for children and a wonderfully pleasant environment. Not to forget, it is walking distance from the lake and other parks so you wont run out of things to do. With trees surrounding and a nice cool breeze from the lake, all in all it is a nice place to visit with friends or if you want a good workout.

This is a very good place for both adults and kids. during morning there are joggers. there are play area for kids separately. there is also a hare hut and horse riding facility there. there is also open air gym training available for men and women separately.

It was very disciplined park earlier. They did not allow men without children. But now there is no restrictions.

This Park is exclusively for ladies and children. For ladies open air gymnasium and for children have many more rides. All are free including entry.

Its a very good place for all age of people.From kids to old people and from men to women, this place is suitable foe everyone.It has 5 playgrounds and has gym like structures for men and women separately.Running and jogging is also done here.Karate is also taught in a section of this part.It also has playground for kids.Has an inbuilt washroom.Has drinking water facility.Opening time -(morning) - 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.(evening) - 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.Note - In winters they close the park by 5:30 p.m.

I visited with my family on a winter afternoon in 2021. It was Saturday and the park was overcrowded. The park is beautiful and large. There are slides and swings for children, however it is difficult to get a chance on them. There are many equipment for workout which are not suitable for children.I also saw a man offering donkey ride within the park. The rabbit house was empty. There is a covered area where there are fish but it was unclean and without proper illumination, so children had to struggle in vain to get a glimpse. The rose garden with just a few roses looked dull.Key Takeaways:- No Entry Fee- Winter timing 3:00PM - 5:30PM- Overcrowded- Prime Location- Four Wheeler parking area almost full at peak times

Really nice place to go for couples or even for an evening walk. Its amazing to take your kids too, as this place contains a playing area, sand pit, rabbit and fish enclosure and even a mule ride.

A very good park for kids. They can enjoy seasaw, different types of rides and sandbed. Not only a park for kids it has different rides and physical excercise instruments for elder people. A person of any age can go there and spend a quality time. There is no entry fee.

We were lucky to see a lioness. Other visitors on 10 other jeeps did not see any that day. So to see a lion in the park is a matter of chance.

We have a group for play in Safari Park for our specially abled children. Its a very nice convenient place with proper security & safety, provisions of drinking water toilet facilities and vast grounds with a greenery and fresh clean air..a small green island in our crowded city...thank u providing this nice environment to our children and helping them to grow .

Once it was a place for morning and evening walkers those who are health consious.But now a days slum dwellers and anti-socials are roaming around which seems to be a matter of worry. The Dhakuria lake is the lungs of Kolkata. Must appreciate the Government efforts to maintain this beautiful spot. Really a great place for an early morning run or walk. The Lion Safari Park is part of this lake. Managed and maintained by the local Lions Club, this has outdoor exercise equipment, yoga center, meditation corners....

I just loved this park. Kids friendly, wheel chair accessibility entrance, major attraction rabbits. The location is also very good. 15 mins easy walk from the metro station. The area of this park is really huge. Also has playgrounds and many recreational activities for kids and for parents as well. Many machines for workouts as well which provide recreation and enjoyment as well. It also has a small spring of water you can sit there and enjoy nature at its best.
