We recently stayed at this place while our trip to Kolhapur. It has a covered parking, which is small but can accommodate cars if parked properly. Also, space to park car outside their restaurant. The staff right from watchman to housekeeping and the one at reception are really polite and very co operative. Worth the price it has clean rooms, hygienic fresh washrooms.It has a pure vegetarian restaurant with room service till 10 pm. We loved paneer manchurian and the butterscotch ice cream, our little one had 2 servings. Temple and market is at walkable distance with tons of option of food around too.

Closest descent hotel from Mahalaxmi Temple at walkable distance.Quick in room dining service.Cleanliness and hygiene maintained very well.We stayed in mini suite, it was good for a nuclear family.You need to plan parking properly as there are limited parking slots otherwise either you wont get parking or your vehicle may get stuck inside parking because of other vehicles.If you get backside room, you wont get any windows to the room.

First I can say that this hotel has very well maintained hygiene in room as well as in other hotel premises. Dedicated covered parking. Complimentary breakfast was fabulous and had lots of options to choose out with delicious taste. One of the best hotels I have stayed in. My job takes me around India and the globe and I would rate Silver Oak in the top 3. Right from the rooms to the decor, the upkeep, the food, staff and service was simply excellent. Really enjoyed my stay.A special mention of Chandrakant st the Reception who, according to me knows the exact meaning of Customer service. Amenities, facilities are awesome. Staff is polite and well communicated.

The infrastructure is amazing. The food in the restaurent is great. Polite and helpful staff. The rooms here are spacious. The T.V. connection does not work sometimes but the staff takes all the efforts to repair it. They provide extra matress as well. They give free wifi, you just need to ask for the password from the reception.

I have ordered food from here a multiple times. Taste is really very good. Special mention for cheese chilly toast, veg main course. Great quality for the quantity offered at an affordable price. Available on both swiggy & Zomato. I faced one issue with Swiggy for an order, but silver Oak staff was very supportive.

Even it is family stay, they wont arrange extra mattress, I had to pay extra for mattress again which is 50% cost of room.Reception hospitality is very poor and not even wearing mask.My wife is suffering with periods, I requested them to provide half day extra. Though it is chargeable I am ok. Though hotel is not full, they r not willing to extend my stay because I booked online. The reception behaviour is very worst, they really dont know hospitality.BEWARE WHILE BOOKING YOUR STAY.

Charges are reasonable.Electric kettle and sanitary accessories were provided as promised during booking. Beds - as always - are spring beds and may not be that comfortable for back-pain holders!Breakfast was served in the dining hall, with limited 4-5 options, which was the best thing that one could do during such pandemic times. Dont know about the room..but the service is pathetic..Earlier when it was new we had good experience..but niw its has degraded.. only the place is good.food quantity is less as per price and also the waiters and managers are not properly trained how to behave with customers.. If we place an order then they listen itbhalf and immediately move..and later after complaining too they just give a reason that we will go and check and later try to escape..We have recently experienced this incidence on 20 February.. I would suggest please do not visit as it might spoil your mood..later wen we told him ti bring roti and sabji for 2nd round together the taste of sabji had changed and even after saying the waiter and person handling were showing attitude and casual approach.. Highly non recommended..

I have been to this hotel on 17 Jan 2021, I have asked for a deluxe room for 3600, he has given me suite room for 4000. All night I have been repeatedly has to run against AC.it was not working properly, my family had been awake whole night. guy with improper knowledge attending and doing AC repair whole night.

Ample covered parking space.The staff behaviour was exemplary. Easy check-in & check-out process. The in-house restaurant was clean, served us fresh, tasty food.Room was spotlessly clean, so was the bathroom. Ample toiletries were provided. Clean bedsheets and towels too. The room was well lit & spacious enough for a nights stay. The room had a writing table along with a chair, 2 bedside tables, bureau for storage, flat screen TV, A/C etc. There is lift facility too in the hotel.Try booking online to avail the best possible price.

Stayed at Hotel A Silver Oak for 2 nights. The stay was very comfortable with decent size AC room, comfortable bed, nice and clean bathroom. The hotel is located in the main area and is at walkable distance of 8 mins from Shree Mahalaxmi Temple. All the other markets are also very nearby. Option to choose complimentary breakfast is provided. Food is good at the hotel. Everything went very smooth right from check in to check out. The staff is also very friendly and cooperative. Area for improvement:-* They do not provide iron in the room* No separation between bathroom area and toilet, the water spills to the toilet area while bathing. Looking forward to stay at this hotel again.Thanks!

The Hotel ideal for a one-night stay, especially if you plan to visit the Mahalaxmi temple, as it is around 5 mins walking from this hotel. Rooms were neat and decent sized. The hotel has a basement parking area which can hold around 8 - 10 cars, and it may happen that some vehicle is parked before yours :) So, before leaving, remember to inform the guard a bit early, so that he can make proper arrangements and you can take your vehicle out. All the staffs were very helpful and cheerful. The hotel has a decent pure veg restaurant. But complimentary breakfast options were very limited.

Good Place and Food

Location wise this is the the closest hotel to city centre with best amenities. 5-10 mins walking distance from important places to visit, like Ambabai Temple and Bhavani mandap. Also for foodies it very close to Padma guest house which is well known for Kolhapurs non-vegetarian delicacies and also close to Fadtare misal Kendra. Hotel itself does not serve anything non-veg. Its strictly veg. Morning breakfast is not buffet. You can choose between Poha, upma, idli, masala dosa and bread butter. Though its tasty, it doesnt have many options. Hotel staff is courteous but slow in service. Many things are provided only if you ask for them. Rooms are tad smaller. Parking space is in basement and can accommodate 4-5 vehicles only. Overall its a good hotel if you have come specifically to visit Kolhapur and nearby places.

It’s nice property; very near to Mahalakshmi temple...But they are not running it professionally... the rooms; though nicely done up, have several minor issues which could be avoided with a professional approach... For example, we had taken two rooms, both bathrooms had choked drains... one could be rectified whereas other couldn’t and had to be changed...The breakfast is to be ordered on the table and has very limited option e.g. poha, idli, dosa n bread butter...At least, they should avoid giving rooms with breakfast package... If you want to avoid soda/ yeast, the only option you are left with is Poha... no fruits...It is so much wastage of money...Hope they improve in future... I gave three stars, out of which two are for the nice rooms they have...

The restaurant is infront of DRK college and surrounded with busy and noisy street. Parking place is not adequate. Only visit here for halt.Coming to food, it wasnt good. Not impressive. Truly very disappointed. The taste was delicious when restaurant was new but its not same anymore. Even though we requested for less spicy food they served very spicy. There were also other issues. Serving was very late (restaurant was not crowded). Improper management. The waiter was confused and made wrong order.

Go Ibibo offering room in RS 900. As I went directly at 7:00 AM could not book from Goibibo. Person at reception asking for RS 2500 for 2 hrs. 3 times the full day rate. How can a room costing RS 900 be offered at RS 2500.Please donot go to this hotel

I have stayed a few times in this hotel and have liked the modern look , cleanliness and proximity to the temple. But this time it was a poor experience. The bedsheets were stained and even when they were changed on my request the replacement was stained as well. The staff told me people eat in the room and bedsheets get stained and so we cannot do anything! We ordered Maharashtrian dishes at the restaurant and even that was not good at all. May have to find another hotel for my next visit.

We loved our stay at A Silver Oak hotel. Location was bang in middle of city centre and had easy access from any part of the city. Room was lovely and spacious. Delighted when entered as they sprayed nice air fresher which was unusual for any hotel to do. Food was yummy and well prepared to our taste. Even breakfast had decent variety offered although it wasnt buffet.
