Kaneri math is half day trip includinggarden. If you are local visitors then no need to stay. But if you are coming from for away then better you can stay at kaneri math. There is different charges for different place. Like museum charges is 150 for adults and 5 to 12 years is 70rs. Garden charges is for adults 100 and 5to 12 years is 50. Inside kaneri math there is canteen. Food quality was very good and delicious. If you are going to kolhapur or on the way you can visit this place.This is one of many places in India, which has large potential for best tourist attraction but due to lack of management remain mediocre.Lot of big status but with broken limbs, ticket counter not managed well, no lighting on narration in caves this all make the overall experience a lack luster.The museum experience is divided into three parts. First being our ऋषी परंपरा, second the life of farmers and third the day in a life of village.The statues are lovely, have natural expressions on face. But lot of attention should be given to maintenance of entire property.Ticket amount is no less, Rs. 150 per person for museum only.

If you have not visited this place, then thinking to start travelling out of maharashtra. Then you have not explored maharashtra yet. This is an amazing place to see whole Maharashtrian culture in a single visit. The statues are soo realistic that even if you go alone you wont feel lonely. There is soo much to see that even if you feel tired you wont stop seeing new locations. You will have to pay Just 150rs per person and than there are no charges later to pay. One of the best places to visit for ones who really want to see the old culture of India especially Maharashtra.I visited the same place 15 years back on my school trip and when I recently visited it I found the place upgraded with more statues with their cultures.Also the cave at the beginning has fascinating sages and priests from very old centuries depicting sciences.Visit this place atleast once in a lifetime. But canteen timing is till 7 pm. So anybody wants to stay here for dinner you have go outside around two to three km. From math.

Shri Kshetra Siddhagiri Math is a historical place.Theres a gigantic statue of Lord Shiva and the shiv-pindi was installed in the 14th century by a Lingayat Priest.Currently Adrushya kadsidhheshwar swamiji and Muppin kadsidhheshwar swamiji is taking care of this math.Math is surrounded by a stone wall.It is 10 to 12km away from kolhapur city. The temple is situated on hill surrounded by natural beauty.Temple is great Architecture of Hemadpanti style.It is peaceful place to get good spiritual experience.A 125 feet deep well and a 42 feet huge Shiva idol statue is worth seeing.Theres gigantic crowd on every gurupaurnima to have swamijis pravachan.The place is worth visiting !

Very nice divine place. Well decorated. Nice architecture. There are many places to hang on like Balodyan (Kids park) l, Amusement Park, Horror theater, Waterfall, Museum, etc. Museum accept some charges (not mentioning amount because it can vary). One star less because of They accept only cash. No option for digital transaction. Another star deducted for places specially entrance is not so convenient for physically challenged person. I request authorities to arrange such facilities for physically challenged person. You can also enjoy horse riding here. Rest you can see through photos attached.

There is a ancient Maharashtrian village made up of life like statues and building. Good place for children to show them how old Indian village worked. The place is child friendly and good for one day picnic.

There is also siddgiri divine garden (inr50) which is must visit. Most of the part is undergoing renovation/repair .There is also a huge big Shiv statue additional to a temple.Suitable to visit for all age groups.Canteen/resto/parking available.

Beautiful and peaceful place

A good hangout place for families, friends. Located in the quite nature near kolhapur. They have maintained a beautiful big museum which introduces the village life to children and people, who are far away from the old village culture. Since a few months, they have also opened a flowers garden. But the garden doesnt seem to be well maintained as compared to the ticket price which is 100 rs per person. They have a lot of scope to improve, definitely. But overall , good place to spend time with family. They also have a canteen, bazaars to fulfill your shopping needs.

Kaner Math is located little away from Kolhapur and spread over a large area, The Math is built around a Lord Shiva Temple and is formally known as Siddhagiri Math.Though the Math means a Religious school, there many avenues for tourists and visitors to spend their time. The campus is modern and well laid out. There are restaurants, food stalls and a small supermarket in the campus apart from Museums as well as an amusement park.Lord Shiva temple is located on slightly elevated land. The temple appeared to be old, however, modern monuments have been raised around it.a great place to visit and spend time for persons from all age groups.

Awesome place to hang out with family. It is situated 13km from Chhtrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminals (Kolhapur Railway Station). There is Sidhigiri Museum, Old Shiva Temple and Kanneri Math in same campus. Museum is awesome with sculptures which depicts old village life. What an Art! At the beginning they have showed life of ancient peoples sculptures like Rishi Munis, Aryabhatt, Bharat Shankutala, Shabri etc. Also they have showed village life, different cultures, old shops, traditional business, kids playing different games, farming, panchayat, etc. It takes around 2hrs to see each and every part of the museum. It gives us the good information about ancient and old culture. Entry fees is Rs.120 for adult and Rs. 60 children (below 12years old).Also there is Mayajal Mahal, Bhoot Bangla, 7D movie theater, we need to pay separate fees to see these things.Overall good experience. Its a beautiful place to spend quality time with family. We can spend almost 4 to 5 hours here. It has an ancient shiva temple, village museum, mirror house, horror house and occasional stalls of ayurvedic items. The village museum is the best part of the place with an entry fee of 150rs per person. It has many ancient stories, known people from various stories, kind of houses in a typical Indian village. The statue are all so alive looking, none of the two statues like alike. Buses towards kolhapur stop at this place and then you can take a sharing auto for 10rs each person.
