Attended a conference at the conference hall, ample parking, clean premises but food was just average. Staff were friendly and helpful. Covid precautions were adequate.

Very poor hospitality.in bath room no soap., no dental kit.,no Towel,no comb.Even our call it wil get after half an hour minimum.Too hygienic.Good lawn around the restaurant for walking and all.Traditional taste of food we can enjoy well @ morning

For our sons wedding event in January 2022, we went around Maradus high ended wedding venues and finally shortlisted Le Meridiens Oman Hall for our BIG day.Le Meridiens USP are:1) Great location with ample parking, especially for us, since it is the closest to the church where we plan to conduct the Holy Sacrament of Matrimony2) Oman Hall is in the convention centre with a separate entrance and thus can avoid the main hotel lobby. Unlike other venues that we visited, Oman hall entrance is grand with its wide staircase and does not pass through the buffet setup. The hall is just a floor above and should look good with the right decor3) Oman hall is the biggest hall in the convention centre so we should be comfortable in complying with the Covid distancing normsThe only shortcoming that we noticed was the non-AC in the dining area. However, hoping that in January the weather should be ok to hold the noon event. Further, the landscaping also needs enhancement after the Covid lockdown.We heard some not so complimentary reviews of the food; hence we were introduced to Executive chef, Mr Satish Reddy, in order to get assurance from the chef himself about the food quality, menu etc. Mr Reddy took over the Ex-Chef role in Apr 2020, said that they have made several changes since he joined and that they were getting quite good reviews. He assured us that the menu can be worked out according to our choice and a food tasting session will be arranged before finalising the menu for the event.We are in the final stages of finalising the contract and will update this review after the wedding event.

Amazing stay and will remember for a longtime to come. Enjoyed hospitality of Le Meridien, Kochi throughout our three days stay. Food at Latest Recipe alongwith courteous service comes on top of everything. If you ever go there meet Mr Mrinmoy, the Restaurant Manager and the team of chefs Naveen, Gishnu, Rabiyul Khan & Mr Satish Reddy. These people can make the best dishes be it Kerala or South Indian or North Indian or Continental cuisines. If you ever visit make it a point to have Fish Moily and Appam, an authentic Kerala food. Mr Sirsendu Banerjee, FOM made our stay special by attending to all our needs. We even met Mr Deepraj Banerjee, GM of the Hotel and his leadership qualities are evident across all the departments. Hotel is following all the Government regulations with respect to the pandemic and made us feel safe throughout our stay. Hotel is easily accessible from the Highway and the backwater view in dawn and dusk is amazing. Looking forward to our next stay here again. Thank you Le Meridien, Kochi.

One of the old five star hotels in Kerala. It is keeping neat and clean. Beautiful backwater view keeping a pleasant sight to the guests. Rich and tasty food served at a reasonable rate. Of course it is following Covid19 protocol

Not upto the standard. Better options available in Ernakulam with cheap rates. Better service expected from a 5 star hotel. If you are planning to take a lake view room, better you take a binocular too.

Booked rooms thro booking.com. It was pouring heavily but valet was unavailable for none of us. We had to find the parking on our own and walk back to the hotel. No proper assistance at the reception. Almost spent half an hour to get the rooms. The breakfast was just average.

Food, especially local, is done very well. Service is worth a mention. They are quite impeccable when it comes to service. Room design is done well and sleep quality is good . The bath design needs improvement. When there is a music program, sleep quality goes down several notches as rooms are not sound proof and the music from their grounds reverberates into the rooms even on the fourth floor

Stay at Le Meridien is so awesome. The supporting staff and especially the restaurant staff are so cooperative. Room services are so fast and attendants are being available at short notice. For families, its so comfortable. The lawn area for evening/Morning walks is sufficient. The quality of food is excellent and providing all orders swell on time. Especially, dealing with the way conduct of Mrs Ruchi is outstanding. She is so helpful and attentive. She is always answerable on each call with good responses. Why do I depend on 5 star hotels often, because of the piece of mind along with the well known hospitality and services. This time at Meridian from 16-21 of August, I had another lesson. How well and professional you deal with a situation. I had an issue, immediately after knowing them, Mr. Mrinmoy Ghosh, the restaurant manager, acted immediately and the steps he followed to undo the bad incident was highly appreciable. This is the hospitality industry at it best, when you are disturbed for a moment, the entire team made my rest of the stay memorable forever. Especially Chef Rabiyul Khan made one of the best preparation, I had recently.After spending many days here, I have invited my friends here and they also enjoyed the most of it.The food, the spread and the services are on tip notch and highly recommendable.

Property is Located far away from airport. Near backwaters, premises look green and serene. Rooms were big, clean and beds were comfortable. Courteous staff.

Wonderful ambience and good food. Giving 4 starts only because Id like if I got more food options which are commonly eaten. Many different varities are there and of you are someone who is not prepared to try new food, you might have some challenge. For a foodie like me, it was fun! But my husband did not have much options.The service was top notch!

First off all , the property is quite old, it’s very obvious, but they charge the same 5 star price for your stay. Buffet spread is below average, breakfast spread has nothing special to offer, the regular egg counter, then iddli, vada, dosa and so on. No continental items were seen. I feel they should bring down their price as it doesn’t offer the modern luxury and facilities. One more thing to mention here; beware of the WiFi connection at the hotel, they provide free WiFi and chargeable WiFi, so while you connect to the network be careful you select the low speed network which is free or else a separate bill be given for WiFi at the time of check out…as it happened to my wife who by mistake connected to high speed internet access and got the bill of 550 rupees at the time of check out.Hope the reader get my point!!!

I had good time spending my staycation at lemeridian. The breakfast was splendid all served to the room. Very well followed COVID rules and regulation. Its safe even with kids. Pool is not open as now. Staffs are very accommodating. Overall a very good experience

02-06-2021Had a buffet lunch at the place.The buffet was okay but expected more dishes from a 5 star hotel. The food served was so good and hopping the would include Arabic cuisine soon.The only draw back is you have to pay extra for refreshments.Great place for family.

Five star hotel with stupendous facilities

Courteous service. We stayed on feb 14. Hotel was full & Busy.Clean & Tidy.Restaurant, Buffet Dinner with kebab , live music and live food counters were excellent.Due to corona game section, spa, pool were closed.We enjoyed the stay.Child friendly. They even have us preference in seating in the restaurant.They provide crib, child seats at the restaurant for your kids.

Visited Le Meridien convention centre (not hotel) for a marriage function. Good hall with ample car parking space. Well maintained property. Very polite and well behaving staff. Very clean wash rooms. Nice food. Highly recommended (no idea about charge 😊)

Got a chance to stay at the executive suite here. The rooms are big and spacious with ample facilities. The pool area is spacious and is one of the few hotels where its open despite covid restrictions. The food was slightly disappointing though some of the dishes were good. Being a five star hotel some of the dishes dint quite make the cut. The breakfast spread is huge and they were quite considerate to all our special requests.

Extremely disappointed with the food I just had. Went with a lot of expectations looking at all the reviews here.The restaurant was a make shift (open) setup with a Christmas special buffet option. The spread was good but was below par in taste. The most disappointing part was the fish options which were available for barbeque. Sardine and Mackerel. Come on? I would never expect this at a 5 star hotel for the price that was quoted for the buffet. The main course was just okay and nothing exciting. Another disappointment came in the form of Desserts. Never had such a poor line up of desserts which did not look fresh enough. Found this place to be not worth for the price I payed. Maybe it was one odd day and maybe they have a good spread when they are fully functional. But never again giving another try!

Man, this place is getting bad. I use to love here. But all seems newbies. The service is pretty bad. they dont even know how to server food properly. I ordered one dish to a person. That guy took my order and half an hour another came and said his shift was over so the order is aint placed.😐 Dont look for service but the rest is maintained good.

Hence the four star.Reason for missing a star - This time the visit was with family, everything remained exceptional, but I did not see a great effort in terms of safety during this pandemic like I have seen with their competitors, which would have left un-noticed had I not been to other hotels recently.But otherwise great place!

I had a very pleasant stay with my family; 3 nights and 4 days. In one word, the experience was seamless.Breakfast and dinner buffet spread were excellent. The staff in the restaurant were so good and cordial. We were given a farewell cake as well upon checkout. Special thanks to the Anamika.The rooms were very clean and well maintained. A very small issue was addressed within minutes. Thanks to the housekeeping manager Mr. Hari.The hotel is conveniently located and with all amenities.I will definitely recommend this place for stay.

My daughter, wife and I went there for lunch pretty late in the afternoon however restaurant manager was kind enough to accommodate our request and provided good service even after lunch hours. First time experience with Le Meridien and it was simply stunning!!Right at the time of checkin, was upgraded to a better room as I presented my Marriott membership number which. The room given was very spacious and comfortable for 3 guests. Staff at the hotel is very polite, helpful and the checkin was a breeze. The room and bathroom were absolutely neat and clean.One of the minus point of my stay has to be that the swimming pool was not functional, had that been functional the stay would have been 5/5.Coming to the food part, Buffett during dinner and breakfast was superb with a very wide spread of dishes in both veg and non veg. Taste of every dish was good and all in all I relished my food throughout.Would recommend this for anyone who is travelling to Kochi looking for a luxury stay!

The service and the ambience was good. This is a pretty safe place to have food during the pandemic and all safety norms were followed. However, the number of food items for the buffet were pretty limited and the taste was not as good as I expected from a hotel of this standard.
