One of the best hotels in the area, if not its probably the best hotel in the area. Had a venue rented for reception, and every attendees loved the hotel and venue. Staff were very attentive and the food served were VERY tasty! Very beautiful and very grand hotel. Definitely will come here again!!

Overall, it was a comfortable and memorable stay.

Fantastic hotel at an excellent location. My friends marriage was conducted here. The ambience is really good both inside and outside. Stage was set nicely. Food was also delicious. The Staffs were friendly and really helpful. Valet parking is available. The location is right next to Lulu Bolgatty International Convention Centre.

Hyatt being a world class hotel should NOT be using cheap tetra pack juices in their cocktails or mocktails. Fruits like litchi,strawberry, mango etc are very easily available,even from road side vendors. I do understand usage of a bit of flavored juice to enhance flavor but you should be using real fruits in your mocktails and cocktails. I dont expect to pay 600-800 rs for a drink to have a drink mixed with tetra pack juice!!!. Please look into this quality issue. Step up Hyatt.

Grand Hyatt Bolgatty has a really good ambience which is also its best feature i feel.. The adjacent Lulu convention center is also hands down the best in KochiFew more things we like : Thai soul restaurant, the grounds area near the water, santata spa and service minded people at the restaurantFew things we didnt like : The reception service is not as good as other areas of the hotel and I personally felt the guy was borderline rudeEven being a HDC member they refused to serve the complimentary appetizers to the room ( a grand suite..) Whereas only a day before, a friend of mine had availed the same service to the room and reason given to me was that in- dining rules were changed that day by the government and that I had to come down to the restaurant to get the complimentary starter. I felt this is strange as if it was for a covid safety reason, then room service is always the safer approachanyways they also dont serve bacon which is again a let downOther than these nitpicking points, pretty much is a well managed establishment

This place is a class of its own. I visited their Thai Soul restaurant for lunch. Even though it was sunny outside there was shade and fans so we dont feel the heat. The ambience is wow. You can have your food and late have a stroll in their garden or relax in the benches in the garden. There is a fresh Lake Breeze which is extremely refreshing. Night time is a different ambience with all the lighting. If you really want to enjoy the view then lunch would be the best option.Onto the food. They have limited dishes. Dishes mostly consist of chicken, beef, shrimp and sea bass. There are four types, namely appetizers, fried rice/noodles, Thai curries and main courses. Beverages and deserts are also there. The service is top notch. The waiters are extremely polite and friendly. They have good knowledge about the dishes and will clarify our doubts. They also suggest dishes depending on our palette. The time for receiving the order is very less compared to other hotels. The taste is just fabulous. Its very tough to pronounce the names of the dishes but I guarantee you none of the dishes will disapoint you. The beverages are very tasty and refreshing as well. The prices are high but the quantity is great. So you can buy one dish and two people can share. So overall bill wont be that high.I really enjoyed the experience. Will visit again.

The staffs werent helpful!We had dropped in for tea and snacks at Grand Lounge. The food was of par standards which I never expected in a 5 star hotel before!After we finished, the order taker vanished and I had to go back to the counter to get the check. Had to wait there for another 5-10 minutes before someone came with the check.My wife and son was there with me and he wanted to go downstairs at the play area. When asked them if we can go downstairs, they asked us to take a lift near Malabar Cafe (Which wasnt operational) and when we came back, they said sorry Sir, you wont be able to access the area as we are not guests staying there.Never going back! Sorry!

The stay, room and the food was overall a great experience.Guests were not allowed to my room I know it is due to the COVID-19 protocol but on the same day guests were allowed to other rooms with their details entered.The restrictions should be to everyone not to a selected list of guests and I was not allowed to walk through the garden area during my stay, when I asked the reason the lady receptionist told me that it is dark you can have a walk in the morning.At least provide a good reply to the guests to make them comfortable and make sure you guys apply the restrictions to all guests.Thank you!

Being our 30th wedding anniversary we took advantage of the downtown location of the Grand Hyatt, Bolgatty hotel for spending that evening and later for a dinner.As we drove in by 6.00pm, the security checks at the gate were a little irritating. Even our baggage was scanned on the entrance. They also asked me to leave my professional camera gear in the car itself since they don’t entertain such gadgets in the premises, which made me desperate. But they told that I could use my mobile phone camera instead!However I was excited when we entered the Gorgeous building which is nestled alongside the Vembanad backwaters with a spectacular garden and pool facing the lake. It only got more breathtaking when we walked in. The Grand lobby is big and splendid. Adjacent to the lobby there is a lounge were we could relax and mingle. We took a stroll along the garden and lakeside for few hours snapping pictures and later by 8.30pm we went to Malabar Cafe which serves South Indian dishes.There is a magnificent view of the lake Vembanad from Malabar Cafe which is an open air dining area. Every staff member we encountered, were delightful and eager to help! We ordered for mutton biriyani which was well served. The taste resembled the food served in the Lulu Hypermarket, which is also good.There are also other places to dine as well inside the hotel.Colony Clubhouse & Grill offers grilled and smoked seafood.Thai Soul is a casual poolside dining space with a live kitchen with buffet in the evenings.Later by night we left the Hotel with a great feeling and experience.

Excellent brunch with a lot of varieties to choose from. Ambience was amazing and the Magic performance by Ana’s was also very new and unique. Dessert was not at the best. But worth a try to go with your friends and family.

The location of the property is great. If you have a room with water view, that would a great way to relax. The place is very hygienically managed in this pandemic situation. There was a nice play zone for kids, had arts n crafts space in addition to the toys. Breakfast buffet had a great spread. Lunch at Malabar Cafe was good. Dinner could have been better in Colony Grill club. Service was the best part in Hyatt. Absolutely loved the experience. Thank you.

Attended a banquet here. The property is very chic and classy like any Grand Hyatt world overm The ballrooms were well maintained, very good, spacious and very easily accessible. Good parking space. The parking drive through boards can be a little more. specific on exit and entry. Food was ok to good. The famed Thalassery biriyani require a bit more attention. Mutton stew was outstanding and was one of the best in the world. The Laksa was outstanding and Laksa service was also very good. The Laksa is one dish I have tried in the ASEAN countries a lot and the one at GH Bolgatty was also outstanding. Probably when the restaurants open up wld go and have a Laksa + Appam + Mutton Stew. The Kerala Paratha requires quite a lot of attention. The chef needs to probably go for a course in how to make fluffy Kerala Paratha.. The service was very good. Washrooms were very neat and tidy. Not adding photos as I attended a private event.

Ordered 2500 rupees onam sadhya box. Where should I start. Thoroughly disappointed with the entire package. We had a sadhya for 200 rupees yday which even though didnt have the quantity in numbers was much better in quality. We only liked pacha moru puli enji and the chips. The payasams where all bad. This experience was not expected from the brand hyatt. No more onam sadhya from here

We had a great experience from check in to check out. The food was great however they only have outdoor dining. This is due to current isolation precautions. Food: Thai soul- we tried 2 appetizers; The calamari was well cooked and not rubbery, the sauce was WAYY too salty, after notifying the staff they let us know the calamari is not seasoned so the sauce which is highly salted is meant to simply touch/dip and not dunk. The second appetizer we ordered was the shrimp wonton/shumai— this was well cooked and very delicious. Please note cocktails are shown on the menu but are not available to order. We then proceeded upstairs to order an entree— pan seared salmon; unfortunately this was the only disappointing dish during our stay. Salmon was slightly over cooked and accompanied with a mashed potato/potato salad— this side dish was highly confusing as it had wayyyyy too many black olives the butter sauce meant for the salmon also came with olives which frankly overpowered the mild taste of the fish. That night we ordered the tenderloin for room service and this was the best dish I had during our stay. The steak was perfectly medium well as ordered, on a bed of whipped mashed potatoes and a thick brown-gravy reduction with mushrooms. This gravy truly elevated the dish! The breakfast at Malabar cafe was also a hit— although buffet style they didn’t cut any corners when it comes to quality ingredients, taste, customer service and ambiance! Our room was perfect along with the balcony space and we really appreciate the staff for thinking of us and providing us with a cake for our Anniversary! We will definitely be back for a longer stay the next time— hopefully the pool and spa will be available for use then! Thank you to the Grand Hyatt staff!

Enjoyed Malabar Cafe, service was pleasant (nothing out of the ordinary though, just like any other descent establishment), food was very good. Highlight of the day was Red velvet cheese cake and next was the fish mango curry, just blew us away, well done chefs on those items. Since we where a party of 12 we managed to try a variety of dishes and everything was top notch. Ambience is nice indeed, parking wasnt an issue (as expected). We will come back for sure

Service at it peak.All the staffs put their 100% to make your stay comfortable .They make sure that the Covid protocol is maintained so as to ensure our safety.At the same time the rules never make our vacation a boring one .It has a really good area for fun activities for children including cycling TT badminton Tennis ect.They seems to have more fun than us .A must try staycation spot .we missed the fun in pool though as it was closed due to Covid.

To top it, the restaurant (Malabar Café) has the finest cuisine and the biggest breakfast buffet spread. One of a kind property with its a private area on the shores of Vembanad Lake. Great place. Totally worth it. We booked a Suite room with Grand Club access. It was amazing. A bathroom as big as any other room in the hotel. The view was amazing, so was the blinds. I was required as the windows were West facing and it completely removed all the light from outside. It was a quite room and corridor. It has a pass through door to the next room in case a joint family visited the place. The grand club was top notch with posh furnitures.

Great Experience. Good Food, Accomodation and unmatched service quality. We were a group of 26 Postgraduate Hospitality Management Students and faculty members. They made sure that, we were taken care so well, all through the 24 hours we spend there.

Went to the Thai Soul restaurant for dinner. It was a pretty decent restuarant with authentic Thailand food. The ambience was really good. The service of the staff was excellent. The lobby and the rooftop are very good places for chilling with friends or family.

We took the staycation package in December for a weekend and had the most amazing time out in Grand Hyatt. The room was amazing with great views. Amazing hotel with beautiful scenic locations. Hyatt will always live up to the glory of its name and will never disappoint. But the food, even if it was of top-notch quality, didnt have a lot of options to choose from taking into consideration the huge cost. Some restaurants were closed when we stayed at the place and we had to have food from the same restaurant during all mealtimes which was pretty annoying. Still, overall its a very worthy place to enjoy and relax with friends and family.

Very nice place at kochi. The staff behaved very politely and especially Annet she had done very good job by guiding us to take the diningclub membership and also explaining each and every perks of having it. We got a corner room with both city and sea view but if your going you should take the complete seaview rooms especially the poolview. The morning breakfast was so good especially the salmond fish and also the pazhamkanji👌🏻. They have the best staff with good hospitality.
