Decently constructed court complex. Should have provided slightly more facilities for public using this complex. Public toilets are not provided sufficiently. Generally this complex is better than usual court complexes but could have been a better place with better facilities. Right next to treasury and Kanayanur Taluk office

Saw a court for the first time.Everyone were responsible.The files were moving very fast. Felt proud of the system.. It was happening in my country.

The Ernakulam District Court Complex is situated inside the District Court compound towards its centre.This is a most modern multi storeyed building where the District Court and various other courts are functioning.There are two name boards one in English and the other in vernacular very visibly affixed on either sides of the main entrance which discloses names of all the courts functioning in this court complex.This is of great help to the people coming to the court since they can easily reach their required Court without wandering and loitering here and there in search of their wanted place.The Principal District and sessions court and the State Transport Appellate Tribunal is situated on the third floor.In the same floor The Additional District Court(1)and(2) are also functioning.All other courts numbering a total of sixteen are functioning in the rest of the floors.This is the highest center of Judicature as far as Ernakulam District is concerned, since High Court is the highest center of judicature of the state.I have great respect for this important place as a law abiding citizen.

This is the main branch of court in Cochin, here there is the family court, criminal court, etc. From here we can get the stamp paper and stamps for any form that needs stamps. The services provided are slow and bad. People have to wait long time. Some times due to lack of stamps, some people have to return back without stamps.
