Absolutely loved the experience.. we were planning a surprise birthday party for our friend and downtown people really came through.. they got the decorations up for us.. played birthday songs when the Birthday girl walked in.. helped us serve cake to all the customers..The interior is gorgeous and very chic.The staff is very polite, thoughtful and patient. The food was very good and especially the French fries are absolutely perfect ❤️Perfect french fries are always a treat.

Good food. Fast delivery. Beautiful ambience. Rich variety of food. Chicken lasagne is a must try. Their burgers are also very tasty and fresh. I tried Burj Al Arab in beverages and was very happy and contented with it (very similar to Badaam Milkshake). It will help a bit if they describe dishes, had to ask the staff what are the beverages.

Great place to hangout and fill your tummy.They have good ambience place to sit and enjoy your food. They have a good variety in their menu which you will love for sure. Food is good and tasty which fill your heart and tummy for sure.The staff here is very friendly and takes care of you. Gives good suggestions for items to try out from their menu.There is a small parking space on the cut road infront of the restaurant where you can park two cars. Other wise you should be able to park cars in the cut road or the main road which is just few metres away.

Visited this place last weekend and I must say its one of the best restaurants in Kochi. Ambience was good and the food was great. We had ordered french fries, pasta, chicken steak, cold coffee and hot chocolate. Not even a single dish was the least bit of disappointing. Its definitely worth the visit.

Beware of the caretaker of the building.He will make sure you will have a terrible experience even before you enter the restaurant. How unfortunate business will suffer when land lords whose name I will not mention here, keep entitled fellows like the one you will meet when you definitely visit Downtown behaving rudely with the customers.

Overhyped place with sub par food quality. Dynamite fries was good but less quantity and chicken burgers are mostly bun and have thin patties compared to the buns used.Waiting time is too long and in addition to that having the staff mess up one of the orders causing extreme delay ruined the total experience

Downtown Cafe in Panampilly Nagar is a nice little cafe to hang out and enjoy with friends. The Western food experience on offer is quite delectable. Yes, its Indianised but retains a lot of original flavours, hence quite good. Service is great with all staff being very courteous with a nice smile. The best part is, the staff knee the menu to make the right suggestions. Good value for money.

I was extremely pleased with our choice to try out this place. We tried their Cheesy Fries, Mochacino, Strawberry Cheesecake and a choice of pastry. It is a pretty and cozy place. The food was great. They have a small collection of books if you want to pass time. I felt would be a place where you could hang out with friends/ colleagues, bring a client for discussion, have a peaceful evening with coffee and listen to music. Would definitely come back.

Really enjoyed the food and the ambience. The chicken steak with mushroom sauce is killer. The prices are not unnervingly high. They even play good music. You might want to make a reservation on weekends, especially on a Saturday.

Slightly costly but the dishes are quite filling. Order a bit less otherwise you may end up with a mouth watering doggy bag for home. For a family of 4 our bill was about ₹1400/-, translating to about 350/- per head. And mind you, this was a wholesome meal consisting of a caesar salad, a chicken steak, some chicken wraps and two types of pancakes for dessert. Did I mention, these were some of the best pancakes Ive had. And to top it all, we couldnt finish the chicken wrap and had to take some home in a pack. Overall an excellent place but service takes a bit long if its crowded, which it usually is. I guess quality food takes time. No complaints.. Love the place

Good ambience. A good cafe, you will have a good time depending upon who youre with. But food and service are both mediocre. For me, this is not a place that comes to my mind when I want to eat good food. But I might still visit this place again if I want to have a long conversation with some friends or colleagues.

My friend adviced me to try out this cafe and it was worth it. We ordered for the crunchy cocktail shrimp, pasta escalope, lasagne, bbq chicken steak, watermelon & passion fruit mojito as in the picture. Be it luck or the cafe everything tasted absolutely yummy.My personal favourites were the shrimp, pasta & passionfruit mojito. The cocktail shrimp was flavourful & tasted almost like the dynamic shrimps from PF Changs (which is the best). A little more sauce to it would replicate the dish.Now who wouldnt love a bowl of cheesy pasta with thin crispy chicken fillets. Spot on with the flavours in the sauce. Passionfruit Mojito was the best choice to wash down the palate for the next dish. It was fresh and fizzy!Bbq steak was served with a decent amount of creamy mashed potatoes and veggies. Both the sweetness from the bbq sauce and spice from the pepper did compliment each other. Journey to lasagne was pretty difficult as we had all got food drunk by then. But it did taste yummy too. The only thing that stood a bit behind was the watermelon mojito as it did taste a bit syrup like. All of this for a little less than 2K!

Fries are really crunchy n crispy. The staff is extremely welcoming and friendly. Although prices are a bit high , it is expected as the interior feels rich and royal. The seats are velvety soft. They do Birthday surprises as well.

DownTown Cafe, evening hunting. Its quite a place to enjoy and hang out. I came to this cafe in a state of hopelessness, I was just planning on getting out for the crazy day and wanted to go somewhere with a nice ambience. When I got to the area it was posh and clean,the shops mashed together in a unique disarray, Approaching the cafe I saw that the exterior contrasted its surroundings.Great place to sit down grab one of their healthy juices and read one of the inspiring books that they have. The menu has a great selection of items that although more expensive than other places is well worth it due to the service and the ambience.Its remarkable really but within a 30 minutes of sitting here, reading the stories, watching the people and taking in the atmosphere It was so new and fresh atmosphere. But surprise, the food is also great and I ordered a lot of stuff! The best part is that if you suggest any improvement to a dish, they take it seriously, never needed stuff was so good.Thats how nice and dedicated they are. One of the best dine in restaurant in Panampilly Nagar. Recently I organized my sons Birthday at Downtown. It was really awesome. My son and his friends loved the yummy dishes. The management had astonished our family by the way they had made the arrangements for his Birthday. One of the must visit cafes in the area.Their shrimp cocktail is one of the best that Ive had . They had a bunch of tasty starters. And their main course was equally tasty as well.Must visit place in Kochin. Definitely go and try the shrimps cocktail.

Loved loved loved the place!!..superb ambience superb service and superb food...loved the lotus cheesecake...it was simple and delicious...tried the much recommended cold milo.. Definitely met the expectations...and the chilly wings...it was magical...the sauce was so beautifully spicy and the chicken so crispy and perfectly fried...a must try...the DT chicken sandwich and classic chicken wrap also didnt let us down...the Caesar salad was a bit of let down..so full of lettuce and only few chicken bits..but it was not bad either..overall had a wondeful experience..!

With the really good ambience this place offers, unfortunately the taste of the food is not up to the par. Either the people in kochi lost their sense to taste or they havent tasted good quality food because I am bewildered how this place has such good ratings. We aksed for medium rare beef steak but was well done and it took forever to get it prepared. The Lasagna was also not that great either. Decent pizza.

A new DownTown outlet in Kochi. They are located very near to the Avenue hotel at Panampilly Nagar. Good ambience and amazing menu. Love their food and drinks. Service is little slow. Recommended

Tasty and good hub for a friendly get together

Ever since I heard of this cafe opening hear, I wanted to go. Got a chance today. Unfortunately went there after dinner, so had only drinks.The DT chocolate coffee and Cold Milo were ordered by me and my cousin.Both the drinks were really good. Great quantity. Must say the ambience is really inviting and comfortable. The staff too are really welcoming.Will be back for the food soon.

The place is super cool and has great vibes, but the quality of the items were just average. The appetizer (cheesy chilly fries and Mac & mushrooms) was really not up to the mark. The fries felt like it was undercooked and the other one hardly had any mushrooms in it. Out of the main course items the crunchy fried basa was really good (friends opinion), but the steaks/sizzlers were just average. Same goes to the veg lasagne, it wasnt the best lasagne that I have tasted. The drinks items were all fine. So overall the place look lit and the presentation is really good. But the quality is not up to the mark(according to me). Would recommend to check this place out at least once. PS: you might have to wait in order to get seat as this place is crowded at night.

This place is a great addition to the cafes we have around kochi . And the location makes it a must visit place. Just next to Cocoa tree , Panampilly Nagar Downtown cafe is mid sized upmarket cafe . They serve great drinks and quick bites . They also have a good collection of pastries We tried the #gourmetbeefburger and I must confess it was the best beef burger I have ever had. Having heard a lot about downtowns #coldmilo I ordered one and was disappointed . It was just like any other chocolate drink nothing outstanding. The place features limited seats and at rush hours you might end up waiting. Overall a decent place and a welcome change to what is regularly available in Cochin 👍

A good place to hang out but minus the food. To reserve a table was impossible cos they never answer calls( was given a reason by them ). Their signature pizza tasted like bread omelette which my dad makes every Sunday( hmm should soon start a joint). And I will never forget my lime juice that was served ...it was just plain water with sugar(not even a lime essence ). But I like the honesty of the person who was assigned to my table. He gave a logical excuse that the chef today has no clue as its the first day of the new year (which got me thinking.....what the hell!!).In short, excuses were definitely entertaining than the food.

The best place to hang around with friends. And you will definitely find crunchy and yummy appetite for your tummy.

Nice place and good food. I had the Zinger burger and DT special pasta. They were tasty but there are a few cons as well. Place is a little over-priced because my friend and I had 2 items plus some fries and i ended up paying 700rs. Also, the fries are not fully cooked and crispy.

The food was tasty, we ordered for mexican chicken burger and chicken steak. The thing is, chicken steak we got,had blood inside it, and ozzing out. It was noticed by carrying wife only after sometime. Instantly we informed about that. The management never accepted it as blood,they told it was the sauce. But we all know the colour of blood and white sauce. Ill never recommend here. Rest is your decision.

The place was packed,so get ur reservations for weekends.The music was light n nice.Only had Dessert so can only say about that.Iced Milo was one of the best in Cochin.Chocolate Crepe was good,the crepe was a lil dry but not too much chocolate sauce running around,lol.

Downtown Cafe hmm just tastes like the one At Calicut... food is good so are the shakes and desserts. If you have been to their Calicut branch then I need not explain more.. the only hiccup is that you might need to wait as the seating space is limited... during my visit I had a slight bad experience on one of the dishes but I guess it might be due to volume of crowd. But the ambiance is like royal and a nice place to chill.
