Food is great, not the best but considered to be very good already being in Nepal. The ingredients are fresh and the place is really clean. The ambience is peaceful and beautiful as well. Giving it 5 stars because of the price in comparison to the food quality. Probably the cheapest Japanese food I’ve had, and it’s of good taste. Had chicken karaage and ebi katsu as sides. Sukiyaki and tamago don as main. The wasabi mixed paste is interestingly nice.

Really impressed with the food and service. We were served Japanese Barley tea immediately and then a small appetizer. The sushi rolls as you can see in the picture are quite large - two bites minimum! The Mabo Tofu was excellent as well as the tempura shrimp and vegetables. Highly recommend this place.

Its a real Japanese dishs. The restaurant is very clean, has wifi. Average price is 400r. The foods quantity is regulatory for Japanese. I wanna eat more. Good point is that tea is free.

The staffs doesnt know Japanese food culture. We Japanese dont like to eat cold rice except Bento. They offer cold rice with Teishoku. Unbelievable.

I went here with my parents and their friends. Have always liked Japanese cusine. Very nice place with good food and cheaper prices than other J restaurants in town.

Everything about this place is excellent the food is fresh and delicious the service is great and the interior is realy nice and a refreshing break from the buissy market place.I came across it after getting badly lost in the markets and it was my reward for finding my way back without any help 🙂thanks guys

The smoky miso soup is to die for! Probably the best I’ve ever had. Really authentic vibe and food. Tried the Katsu Don and all the flavours are spot on. Ate here multiple times, highly recomended.

Nicely decorated place. Lots of seating place available. Yo can seat in cabin like rooms also which are decorated like houses in Japan. I like that. They welcomes with japanese tea. Many japanese items in menu. If you are not aware of japanese food Dont they have picture menu too.we also ordered using it hahaha.but cost is high.

A Japanese restaurant that you can see that it is carefully made even if it is served.The first soba tea that comes out is good. I feel relieved.It ’s also nice to have a small bowl every time you order a beer.

You can eat authentic Japanese food at reasonable prices.Interior not only dishes also makes you feel Japan. Natto rice was delicious!

I think Kathmandu is a very good Japanese restaurant.The store is spacious and clean.While there are many casual shops, the staff here are all kind.It is a shop on the second floor. Do not miss the entrance.

The owner of Airbnb on the upper floor here was a very nice person and I stayed there for 2 weeks during my stay in Kathmandu, so I often went there. There are many other Japanese restaurants in Kathmandu, but this is the best way to make it and there are plenty of small bowls for set meals, so I think it was cheap. The shop assistants were all kind and nice people.
