Medoicre compared to other in the same area. The Bhatti theme didnt quite match the ambience. The food was spicy, some were good but nothing special. Most of the ones available are newari themed items which makes the restaurant different from others, else i found it quite bland.

Amazing view point from the rooftop literally can see basantapur and dharara tower too.food tastes ok .Their speciality dish is chatamari , veg cheese pakoda and many some few more items out which I find chatamari tasty but not veg pakoda as it is very oily .Try their alu bujiya

As many people have already said .. the waiters there are rude and disrespectful.I was waiting with my friends for a seat at the rooftop. There was some space there , without blocking the path we all could have stayed there so i asked for 3 plastic chairs which were already there. But the waiter was really rude and acted as if we asked for free food. I complained to the manager and he asked to point the guy personally. I didnt do that. But seeing other reviews here i wish i had done that.PS. We left without ordering food the moment the waiter was rude to us.

I had the worst experience in this restaurant. Me and my friends are never ever going back there again. The waiter was so rude that me and my friends had to walk out from the restaurant because we felt so insulted. I really wanted to try out foods when we heard they had great foods with reasonable price and great view from rooftop. But the way we were treated by the waiter, the food or the view is not worth it. We were waiting to stay in the roof top and when it was empty, we asked the waiter to clean it for us. At the beginning he was Okay with it, so we sat there but when the other customer(not sure if they were regular customer or not) came and asked to stay there, he told us to sit in the place we had stayed before. I would have understood the situation if it was a reserved table or if we had already ordered the food since the table number would have got mixed. We had even asked the waiter. We were literally waiting to stay in the table where we could see the better view. He looked so angry when we insisted on sitting on that place and said we had been waiting to stay there. But then he started being rude by saying we had not even asked permission to stay in that place, It is not allowed and next time we come there we have to ask permission and on and on. The way he talked was so insulting and rude that we are never going there again. He didnt even care when we felt insulted and tried to leave. With this hospitality and service, Customer like me is never going back there. Just with good foods, its never going to work out. We want good hospitality and service too. This place needs to upgrade itself.

Great taste of food and easy on the pocket. probably one of the best places to hang out with friends with good food at Basantapur. it has a great variety of food and in my experience all that i jave tasted are really good. location has changed and is slightly inside and might miss it. nevertheless its easy to find and good place to be. highly recommended

The only thing that i really call down here is the Slow service.. its not that slow to actually start hating the place. Apart from that.. i would call it the best place for Traditional cuisine in a contemporary presentation. The cheese chatamari is a favorite here. I would request the management to separate smoking zones... Simply loved it..

Food used to be so good in the old place but now it is terrible. My favourite dish in Bhatti Restro, Cheese Pakauda has become low par in taste. Everything I tried was too oily. Chatamari looked like it was dipped in oil. The place is a mess. They have a sitting area in 2nd floor and if it is crowded then you have to go straight to the fifth floor to get a table. Parking is not available. Please skip this one.

The food is very nice, especially the chicken cheese chatamari which kind of feels like newari pizza. The old building used to give more traditional vibe, the new building is not that fascinating.

Bhatti restro has always been one of my favorite place to eat with their cheese pakoda being one of my favorite. Unfortunately its currently closed until further notice due to maintainance. And they will be opening soon in a new location. Lets hope their quality remains same because if they manage to do so they are without a doubt one of the few good restros at an affordable price.

Im leaving a three star rating only because I found the hospitality to be quite unwelcoming. Lots of areas of improvement like music and lighting. Overall a good place to hangout. Food is top notch.

Well, the fact that I found hair on my food, not once but TWICE and bones on my meat. I am totally not pleased at all.

Restro decor has now new look then before which was little away from current location. Special food item includes Newari dishes and potato fries. Local hospitality and services. If you want good food, nice place with affordable price, this will be a right choice. The only problem anyone will encounter is Restros parking. Inspite of this the place is nice and food awesome.

Had a very bad experience. There were used tissue papers everywhere. Had to wait for ages, and yet got served with wrong order ; also the food was cold.

Best thing about this Restaurant is the dish called Chatamari.. and all complimentary serving :D.. Plus point you can relate to this cafe with your favourite music artist as well.................... hung upon wall .. pictures of beatles metallica, queen.... slipknot... pink floyd...

Very good place to hangout with cheap and great tasting food

LOVED the chatamari they served here, literally loved. Well you cannot complain about the way you go through but once you are here, the rooftop is from where you can enjoy the view. The service was kind of slow and specially you have no company or in a rush you will have some problem. And the place has lots of seating area for there are not much people here. But do try The CHATAMARI they serve here.

Potato chips and nepali pizza is awesome. I was abroad for a while and when i visited it again it has shifted to new building just inside a galli ( narrow street in nepali ) opposite to its original location. The food is still awesome. The new space is big and nice. You can view a basantapur durbar from the top. You will get ample of space for group hang out. Had a good gathering there. The posters and old bhatti feeling is still there. Its a same old experience in new building. Do try a cheese pakoda there , it really mouth watering.

The restaurant is pretty difficult to find, you need to look around for some time. If you ask for directions with public it gets quite awkward as they think you want to go to The bhatti 😂. Almost every dish has cheese on it. If you are a cheese lover then you will like this place.

Been my hangout in nepal since the first day I arrived in Kathmandu. Great food and easy atmosphere. Beers are cheap. Toilet is disgusting and the hygiene is not the ritz. But it really is an awesome place to go.
