Prior to being PVR it was Cinemax. The renovation is still on. The screens are okayish. Some seats have been replaced with new ones but arent that comfortable. The theatre has no parking facility. Ticket prices are economical on the pocket. Not too many shows are this multiplex has only three screens out of which one is quite small. Perfect if you wanna watch movies in Kalyan at affordable rates. Much better and safer than Inox and SM5

PVR Kalyan..(previously known as Cinemax) located in heart of kalyan west i.e. Khadakpada, Decent place.. 15mins from Kalyan station by auto rickshaw. Sharing auto rickshaw is available from railway station till khadakpada chowk, then 3 minutes walk to theatre..Ticket price are reasonable.. [ Thank God.. ;) ]There are only two screensScreen 1 (around 250 seats)Screen 2 (around 100 seats)Food is ok ok..Sitting could be better...Over all its affordable place to watch a movie..!!

I watch tanhaji movie in this theatre and his screen and sound quality is very nice. 👍 next time Im visit again in this theatre ✌

It is good people staying near godrej hill, rto office, khadakpada etc can find this pretty nearer compared to other cinemas.But the food here is pretty much costly too

The shopping mall is not yet started there but the cine Max cinema theatres are very active and we can watch all language movies like Hindi, English, Malayalam, Marathi, Tamil etc. Good and average comfortable seats in normal theatre. But the recliner theater (screen6) is more than comfortable.. and lovely.

I have been here for most of the movies. Staff is very good and screens are also good.3D movie quality is also good. Good sound quality. Seats are pretty comfortable especially the recliners in screen 1 they are super comfortable.Only problem is that they never release any English movie in English language it is always released in Hindi dubbed.

Worst movie watching experience ever! The projection kept getting disturbed and kept showing blank screen almost 5 times during the entire movie. Ultimately they audience had to shout and make them stop the movie. I wont recommend this place if you want to watch a movie without any technical interruptions. Say no to PVR/ Cinemax Kalyan.

Now there is cleanliness inside the theatre. But any show still start late by 10 15 mins.Cost is usually high of any movie during first week. In second week its price get reduce by 10 or 15%.Morning show between 9am to 10am having low cost

It is a theater with 4 screens . Good experience and one should not book the tickets on 1st-day 1st show it is very costly.Wait for 2-4 days them rates becomes pretty reasonable here.

There are only two screens and both are very well maintained.I have seen over a dozen movies at this theater and was never disappointed with the management.Only thing to improve is the sound quality which is average.

Well Its a nice multiplex. Cannot be said to be the best in Business still a nice place to spend ones leisure. Dont expect much to eat here. Screens are of good size, seats are good, a bit crampy though. There is scope of improvement in the lounge area. Been here a couple of times. Happy with the overall experience.

The seats are stained and smelly. There is water dripping from the roof. The seat are broken and shake. This place is not worth it and overpriced for the penny service they give.

So we are talking about one of the finest cinema theatres in Kalyan. Cinemax is amongst the oldest and arguably one of the premier theatres in the city. The movie-goers certainly find a truly exhilirating experience watching cinema on the silver screen here. Yet all these benefits are eclipsed by some severe shortcomings. Here are a few of them:1. Lift - there are 2 lifts to enter the theatre located on the 3rd floor, however these are grossly inadequate for the number of visitors the theatre attracts. To make matters worse, there are no operational stairs to reach the entrance.2. The 3D experience - the 3D glasses offered to spectators seem to be unclean for use of the succeeding batch of movie-goers.3. The unaffordable popcorn - this is perhaps the most disappointing offering by the theatre. At 250 rupees (yes you read it correct thats 250) Cinemax offers perhaps an almost unaffordable popcorn bucket (the smallest size) in the city. Surprisingly at this price one could easily buy 2 tickets at the same venue or even buy a subway sandwich and a cold drink outside. A real dampener in what could have been a really wonderful movie experience.In a nutshell, Quality never comes cheap, but then it should neither be unaffordable!!!

Movie theatre is fine but had been for hitchki movie during which more than half of the time the sound system was working on a very low volume due to which audio was just about audible it was like hearing it on TV while watching in theatre. Staff was slow to accept the issue and correct the same. Have seen other movies here which were fine hence the 3 star rating

Nice multiplex. One must visit with family , friends , Gf. Food was quite good. Parking is available. For rs. 10. Seats were good. Sound quality and screening is also good. Only seats cannot move back so that you cannot more relax. But it is decent enough. Nice theater.

We were 4people with one 4yr old child so i had reserved 4seats online,but at the entrance security didnt allow me as i didnt get the tkt for my child...I went down again to get one more tkt from counter but the whole movie my child was on my lap sleeping. So i request you atleast minimum age limit should be 5yrs.I wasted my money & also shared my seat with my child.

Nice screening seats are comfortable but should be updated and make moved. Price of food is a little costly. The 3d screening is great and atmosphere is also good.

Experience was quite good but they wont allow ny kind of food items to carry with us.... Its ok if there r elders. But what abt the kids..if they got hungry...they dont give...ny kind of permission to..carry with us in bags..

Great cinema to watch movies in Kalyan.If you are going here ,make sure to give your phone number at the ticket counter to avail for free popcorn coupon .This is valid only once on a number.Food here is quite costly. The problem is that English movies show in English language in a day is less as compared to Hindi version of that movie.

It is a budget Multiplex. Good value for money. Dont expect PVR like experience.

I must say this place has not improved with time. First of all there are only 2 screens and the 2nd one is small the audio quality of the cinema is poor. Its the only place nearby so most people go here but they have a poor experience. I mean they should improve a little bit.

Good pvr at khadakpada.please dont compare it with regular Mumbai pvr.its Kalyan , so eating options are less.But its clean, less crowd.So I loves to go here

1) There are only 2 screens. Thus frequency of show is less than other threatres, and also sometimes at odd times (for college students and working people especially).2) Ads are really lengthy. Ads take up fpr almost 30-45mins and due to that, sometimes, a song is skipped from movie or that type (Both in Kesari and Good Newwz movie, I have noticed this).3) The snacks are I think bit more expensive than usual.

Worst management, every movie starts late always. All consumer are forced to sit 40 mints before n 30 mints in interval for watching worthless advertisements.Management plz take care or we will file consumer complaint.

Good place good staff and seating arrangement is good... This place is near by khadakpada. From kalyan station you can get sharing rickshaws to khadakpada for just 13 rupees. After get off at khadakpada walk just 15 and you will reach cinemax.. Cinemax price is also cheaper than others. This place is very clean and always get rickshaws from here to khadakpada station.

Chain of PVR movies are always economical and value for money. Theater and sound effects are not awesome but very good. As I say its value for money so must visit for movies.

Good but the seats have become old now..rather go to sm5 or inoxthere was this peculiar smell coming out of the seat i had booked..probably of the sweat. colling was good but felt it at stronger side after interval. This is the only movie theatre in Khadakpada, easily accessible,safe in night as well, always crowded hence book early.

Cinema Hall was ok ok, but u need big screen to experience a good movie so I request PVR to work on screen rather than making big hall and ambience. Screen though was small but it needs more improvement as screen looks dim. it feels just like watch a piracy movie in Ur moblie phone

Located in Khadakpada area, this PVR is one of the best multiplex to watch movies in Kalyan. They have 2 screens of which one has less seats and one is having good number of seats. Lobby area, seats, sound system everything is good in Cinemax Kalyan. Only bad part is they start movie late from show time due to lots of adds and in interval break also they show lots of adds. It irritates a common person to have so much of adds in between movie

I went to watch Pati Patni aur Woh with my wife today. My experience was not so good as the seats which I booked were broken and the response of the staff when I mentioned about the same was rude. I dont recommend anyone to visit this theater as the quality has drastically gone down.

Projector problems.Many a times the movie is stopped.Lights are kept on for sometimes for no reason.Ac is switched on very later.Expensive food.Many good movies are not screened due to less screens.Crowd is not good.But really economic!

It is a twin screen cinema house, screening all genre of movies.Parking is available outside on the road.Basement parking is available in the adjacent building premises.It is a single structure building,having reliance fresh store on the ground floor and a fine dining place too.

Volume was very low... So much for the horror movie.... It would have made a great difference if volume was a bit up... Other than that quality was awesome

Worst movie theater. They stopped us for taking home cooked food inside theatre. As per law they can not stop us. Also the manager was very rude while talking with us.

I visited to watch hitchki and it was in screen 2. Though its a small screen it was maintained well and except like other comments i did not face any audio trouble or absence of Air conditioning. Yeah the intervel is too long. They show a lot of ads and trailers.. it would be good of the management look into this matter

Just about ok movie Theatre, the only one located at Khadakpada, hence it has confirmed patrons. Does cater to the demands of its clients, this is especially confirmed every Friday, when new movies are screened. It suffers one serious issue and that is parking has no provision of adequate parking facilities this becomes a nuisance for local residents, and this has never been addressed by its management thus far. Not a very attractive movie theatre on the whole, but has just enough to serve the purpose of its die hard patrons. Nothing really attractive about this movie theatre, most of shows run an almost empty house, excepting for the days when new movies are screened, especially those starring big ticket actors. Yes, they do have a low priced ticket day, once a week which obviously is a boon for those who are mindful of ticket prices...

I visited here to watch krish 2 but not satisfied at the beginning of the show with low volume its hard to hear of rohit conversation in movie.

Place worth watching a movie

The reason why I gave only two star is cost of food is exorbitant. They are simply looting the patrons. Drinking water is charged at 60₹ and the one which is kept publicly is kept hidden at a corner so that people are forced to buy the packaged drinking water.Simple Popcorn cost around 160₹, open loot.

Went to watch gully boy but the sound killed the entire song experience, something definitely wrong with the audio in screen 1,paid 267 per ticket and this is what we get, pepsi was dead flat and the staff had no clue why! Very bad

The place is good, there are very few multiplex in Kalyan. This is definitely one of the best around.

Even after court ruling, out side food not allowed and will be confiscated. If you want to have it back you have walk to ground floor and climb up again. This is helping their employees earn some extra food.

The theatre is ok ok, if you choose to purchase popcorn the same will cost Rs 250 for a smallest tub and the come will be Rs 220 also if you purchase a Red Bull the same shall cost Rs 140 inspite of the MRP whatever it is... Sugesstion have a heavy lunch dinner before you go bcaz u pay more on food than a movie ticket..,,😲😵😤😠

Ambiance is good but food items are too expensive. Indian law has already passed judgement that no multiplex can stop audience from carrying outside eatables. But the multiplex manager asked security person to stop us from carrying outside eatables in the multiplex.
