Café Coffee Day Global Limited Company is a Chikkamagaluru-based business which grows coffee in its own estates of 20,000 acres.[4] It is the largest producer of arabica beans in Asia, exporting to various countries including U.S., Europe, and Japan.[5]V. G. Siddhartha started the café chain in 1996 when he incorporated Coffee Day Global, which is the parent of the Coffee Day chain.[6] The first CCD outlet was set up on July 11, 1996, at Brigade Road, Bangalore, Karnataka. It rapidly expanded to other cities in India, with more than 1,000 cafés open across the nation by 2011.In 2010, it was announced that a consortium led by Kohlberg Kravis Roberts would invest ₹1,000 crore (equivalent to ₹18 billion or US$250 million in 2019) in Coffee Day Resorts, owned by the company.[7] The same year, the logo was changed to the current logo, which the company stated was to showcase the chain as a place to talk.[8] This was done with major changes in the layout of the stores, including the addition of lounges and a total revamp of the interiors.[9]
A perfect coffee and viewing jal mahal in lake jal mahal with lighting and full moon ,on the tarace of cafe coffee day,........Was realy romantic.
On my recent trip to Jaipur- the Pink City, I have visited this Cafe Coffee Day for catching a quick munch and coffee with my friends on our way to Nahargarh and Amber fort. The views on the visit to CCD is as belowPros1. It is located on the petroleum pump at amer road where one is likely to take halt for filling up the tank of vehicle.2. Located just opposite of epic Jal Mahal of Jaipur.3. The staff is very courteous.4. Last good place to have something while on my one’s visit to Nahargarh and Amer fort.5. It also has rooftop sitting available for enjoying coffee.6. Tried inverted cappuccino which was great.Cons1. Very limited space available for sitting and enjoying coffee.2. The rooftop sitting 🪑 does not provide any view but to broken buildings and is a blessing in disguise for love birds.3. We ordered one vanilla cafe latte which didn’t taste anything related to vanilla.
Awesome serviceproper hygieneCosy placeLake viewLoved it
Its a CCD what do you expect great coffee great food Just very good overall.
Bad Frappe, overpriced, No wifi, understaffed, terrible food and drinks. Only the location is nice
Nice cafe near jal mahal in petrol pump Amer road
I found the location and ambience of this CCD outlet quite cozy which is why I added one more star to the review. Originally, I just wanted to give only one star.Anyhoo, we ordered two Hot Combos: Chilli Cheese Toastizza with filtered coffee. Coffee was fairly good, but they burnt one chilli cheese toastizza, it was even visible that it was burnt, but they refused to admit their mistake and started arguing instead. The staff is supposed to be humble, especially when it comes to admitting their own mistakes. It was quite disappointing.
All varieties arent available so you will have to select from few options.
All the food menu is not available also the sitting area is not good
Staff was so humble even no disturbance about anything will my dating on Skype
Only one staff do all the things, so be prepare to wait very patiently. Therere just a couple who ordered before me and I just chose 3 very simple items those were in the fridge container display and a chocolate smoothie (Im not sure other choices of menu actually available or not because when I ordered burger the staff told me it wasnt available). After waiting for 15-20mins at least , I starting to get something served, but not the drink. The smoothie was what I got the last... It was so long and I thought she forgot my order but no she didnt.Overall, this was not my happy quick lunch, it was quite the opposite. I wont say it was so bad but you just have to not expect much here.
The only thing I got cool in jaipur is CCD infront of jal mahal
Its good prices arent so good as usual
Cozy but small place......3 star bcoz they dont start AC while they have. So much hotness in cafe.
Ultimate place for a coffee
View was very nice
Went for a quick bite.Quick service but a clear no for shakes as they use milk powder which didnt taste good at all.
Amzing service
The place is quite good for a cup of coffee. But other than that the only view you are getting is a petrol pump outside your window.
Nyc tym with ur buddies
Cafe coffee Day...the name for ur sitting
Sitting arrangement upstairs wasnt good. Inverter wasnt working when we arrived, hence service was slow. The view is worth it though.
Right opposite to Jal Mahal, you have this Cafe coffee day located at the roof top.Not that spacious but a peaceful placeGood part is the view and peace but the crowd nearby at times is not that great.
This CCD most of the stuffs either out of stock or not available. My this comment is based on my 1st Jan visit.
Nice Place
Best place
Very cramped up. Upholstery needs changing. Inside a fuel station. Right opposite Jal Mahal. Has a small terrace for view but not utilised properly. Smoking? Forget it. You are in the Fuel station premises.
Love go have coffee with view of jalmahal
Average coffee shopConvenient location opposite Jal Mahal
Ive been here for perfect espresso, unfortunately ended up having cold and over extracted espresso shot,I can make better than them at home using my 12bar machine..
Nice place
Best lake view
Perfect location but lousy service
Comically bad. I asked for an expresso and a vanilla cappuccino (not my choice my female friends) they gave us a luke warm milk coffee mix (no vanilla) and a kind of burnt expresso (admittedly I live in Italy so I am perhaps more judgmental about coffee quality but it was without doubt the worst Ive ever had). Its next to petrol station I think, not a great view. And I think the bill was 800rps to 1000rps, that was the actual price, on the menu, I was with an Indian friend so the price wasnt put up for my skin colour. I ordered a biscuit or something too which was nice enough.I think they should go on YouTube and look at videos about how to make a coffee. They had the right coffee machine. And teach their staff how to use the machine. Its not actually that difficult.Next time in India, sticking to chai.
Staff is not customer friendly.
It is situated in the petrol pump area just opposite to the Jal Mahal. It is very quiet place to just relax and have a chat over a cup of coffee in peace. The staff is quite courteous and polite and dont bother you much. You can surely visit this place if you want some peace time for yourself.
You are nowhere safe as a foreigner for being scammed. One samosa for 40, one sandwich for 140. So you would guess its 180 in total, right? No its 236. As I refused to pay, the manager jumped in and said that the cashier is new and made a mistake while both were laughing. F*** you! I hope in your next life you will be reborn as a cockroach!
Its a good place to have a small bite with friends, especially on the odd time. Nice sit out and inside is available. Overall good experience.
😤
Its too good having coffee on historical place....and it refreshes the mood and fills excitement....too good felling in hawa mahal....try it...
It is located inside the Amber Fort from Devi nice view forge a good I like to much
Very bad service, we had to leave after 20 minutes waiting to be attended. This store only has one attendant and she ignored us like we werent there. Atmosphere of the store is in bad shape too. Would not recommend to any one.
I ordered an item to go. Obviously I had to wait for my order but they were super slow cause one guy was on both his mobiles chatting!!!! Nothing infuriated me more!!! They had used disposable gloves in a draw which they reused for my order then replace it back in the draw!!!Omg, disgusting!!! After my order, while waiting on my uber the mobile guy, stood watching outside in a daze and playing with the straws, with his fingers, the same straws that people have to put in their mouths!!!!! Why????? I get things are different in Jaipur but this is a franchise coffee shop. Come on people. DO BETTER!!! its all about efficiency and cleanliness!!!!! Wish there was a zero rating I could give. Nasty!!!
Very well placed. The gallery area is best to sit and relax.
Good
Nice
Not good
Lazy staff...
A very nicely located Cafe Coffee Day outlet, right opposite Jala Mahal.Compact store, yet the location adjacent to the petrol on the main Amer Road is amazing and is a good stop over. Nice staff too.
CCD is located opposite a jalmahal. Best place to drink coffee near amer jaipur.
Its closed I guess.
Worst place to visit
Nice place . Good service.
Staff were so polite. I loved their hospitality and their attitude toward their costumers. Overall amazing experience ..
Excellent place want to have a date go to this outlet one of the best outlet in jaipur
It is located at a petrol pump so the ground floor is very annoying, youll hear sound of horn and the view is well what do you expect from a petrol pump but view from the 1st floor is amazing. You get to see beautiful view of Jal Mahal from here and I think quite a good place for your date.
Full menu is available, its like come early in the morning for a walk along the lake and jal Mahal and after that go sip in some good coffee.
Great Sarvis...
Good place...its actually at the petrol pump. It deserves a 3 star not more.
Found a fly in my cold coffee.
Its like any other CCD.
If you want to grab a quick bite then it is good but if you want to find peace with your then its not.
You can experience coffee and jal mahal together here.Very good place.
Good place but its inside of hpcl petrol pump so you can easily listen the horn of vehicle and cafe is not to big it has 2 floor but its very small
The views from the terrace are breathtaking. CCD was literally responsible for making coffee popular in India. What I found over the years is that every outlet is different in terms of standard. For Example the one by the Taj in Agra is the worst and Cafe Latte served here at Amber Fort was without any taste of coffee in it.
Place is good but staff is not experienced so poor response. I had chicken burger and flavoured water. It’s fine
Clean and cosy.Took too much time in taking order. It can avoidable easily.
Nice cozy place.Good for meetings.Nice staff.Lovely dishes.C9ffee is good also.
Average food and ambiance, decent service.
Jalmahal ..very nice palace in Jaipur. It is situated in near Jaipur Amer road . So many visitors come here every day for looking it. Special thing is that this palace is surrounded by a lake.
Nice clean restaurant. However the billing and card swiping machine wasnt working when I reached
The location of the place is impressive. Take a coffee, sit on the roof n enjoy the beautiful view of jal mahal.
Nice location, and when I visited its raining here so very happy to have a coffee at this time. At jal Mahal its more beautiful than I though.
Place is inside a petrol pump, and in day time road is so much polluted. And in evenings , outside is so better than insideCoffee is like anywhere else. But its good anyways .
Coffee friends and gupshup ..
I love it this cafe. It is front of jal mahal. Amazing 😍 view.
Inside fort near exits.
It is a great place to have a coffee with your favorite people.
