Delicious food, funny chef, intimate atmosphere, above average pay for the food, but overall a realy nice place to treat yourself from time to time.

Franchise of famous US chain of restaurants. Same menu and standards. If you order tuna/scallops (my favorite here) or any main food option, you also get lot of appetizers. Lot of sauces. Be prepared for high calorie intake!

These 4 stars I give to the woman who answered the phone and stood in the bartender. She was the only person who made me feel polite and professional. Everything else is not worth 1 star.

We always come here for the sushi ♥️ which is definitely the best in Bucharest. Weve also tried the beef and lobster, also very good, but the portions were a bit smaller than expected. The service is excellent every single time.

Restaurant is a little bit hidden in the hotel, you have to go to the first floor. The food was delicious, we had fish and fillet mignon, both were prepared well. The cook gave us the show as you can see on the picture.A big kudos to Gabriel, our waiter, how was an amazing host and helped us with everything we needed. Thanks!

I really enjoyed my first time at Benihana, the chefs put up a great show when preparing the food in front of you, playing with fire. Ours was particularly friendly and had lots of tricks up his sleeve. The beef steak was tasty and really tender and the fried rice with eggs that went with it was great as well. Sushi was ok, not the best Ive had, I would say.Its a pricey place for Bucharest (its located inside the Sheraton hotel, thats a hint), but the main courses include lots of extra stuff (onion soup, salad, seafood, some delicious ice-cream, etc) so overall I think the experience was worth the bill. If youre looking for something tasty and out of the ordinary, go for it.

Best Japanese restaurant, not in town, in the whole country!

As a chain restaurant the food quality is really good. The food tastes the same as in Benihana, San Francisco, CA. Also the service and the show our chef, Julius, put on were exceptional.

Party of 5 (parents and three kids 7,12,17 years old). Restaurant was still empty as we arrived early (7.15pm). Chef was very funny and the food as good as the branch in Cupertino (prices are the same too). Always an experience. And order Rockys choice.

One of the best japanese restaurant that ive been. Delicious tepaniaki food with style cooking show made by master chefs directly on your table. You order the main course and youll get an extra free apetizer , soup and ice cream. The cocktails are correctly done. I give 5 stars for Benihana Bucharest Sheraton Hotel.

Very high prices, sometimes not fully justified by the quality of the products, of the serving & services. We did appreciate however that we were allowed to order some dishes from the Avalon restaurant menu (chill cucumber and avocado soup - that not everybody liked, only the cucumber could be tasted).

Best sushi in town

Came here for lunch and had a very sad bento box that reminded more of a school lunch. Half way through my meal they started cleaning the floors with a pretty load polishing machine. I left my soggy and fatty shrimp empire and over cooked salmon teriyaki behind and felt not to return

As an American I thought this place was just an average Benihana. The chef was not very good and the meal was overpriced. ~$40 for something that costs $26 in San Diego. However, if you need a meal and have tired feet its a good choice and you know what you are getting.

I am a frequent clien of Benihana Bucharest since their openings. Recently I was very surprised to see that they changed the payment of the bill system in a very unusual way. As a client you can not see the bill before making the payemen! With other words for cards payement you pay and only after they are able to print the bill so you can check if the total included all your food and drinks. This is a unique procedure which makes all the clients unhappy.They fixed the issue. Good job! I will change my review to 4 stars.

Luxury restaurant, on the 1st floor, of the Sheridon hotel in Bucharest, on the Romanian Market. The food is prepared in front of the customers, on a heated table, by a Filipino chef, who speaks English and Romanian, who makes a real show from the preparation of the menu. The show is a delight for children and delightful for adults, and the master chef competes for himself !! A well-deserved experience!

I tried in 05.01 this location with fine dining restaurant but the final feeling is disappointing. A restaurant with huge potential, good food but a Romanian approach to serving. The cook who prepares and serves food is irreproachable, but beware of the saint not to be a stranger, a politician, or a known pigeonhole. The Head of Hall is focused on these categories only. The worse is that when you point out that it is not a correct approach it comes with a whole Romanian solution and gives you a glass of wine !!! Until these employees do not understand that the slug does not positively, they can not claim that the restaurant and their salary are premium. My references to Julius the cook but serving and treatment is dishonorable.

I never left a restaurant feeling like I was being beaten until I ate at Banyana. Medium minus food. Nice show for kids.My wife ate a duck - flat with no flavorsI ate a steak that was recommended - completely pointless.At the table with us sat two other men who also ordered steak. The chef placed on the brazier two not very large slices and it was divided into the three of us. disappointing.My kids who love sushi ordered the sushi ship said it was fine but not something special.The service was slow uneven and not nice. For example the guy sitting next to me ordered Coke and got a glass with ice and lemon and I did not.So if you fancy short entertainment go there but if you fancy quality food I suggest you look elsewhere

Premium location, quite airy. Possess several teppanyaki tables, where children have fun quite well. Correct sushi, tasty food, but with small leaks (the tone was not the best quality). Expensive drinks, like above the normal level for this type of restaurant.

The food is o.k. but as the day goes by the portions decrease. Given that the same menu at Benihana in Los Angeles is cheaper and the portions more generous, I think it might as well be in Bucharest going for this formula
