Delightful food...awaiting the Durga Puja now...mouth watering cuisines...

The occasion was my birthday, the 31st of December. I was so craving for Bangla food so gave Bijoli Grill Outlet in Good Earth City Center in Gurgaon a try.LOCATION: Its located in the Good Earth City Center easily navigatable using GPS.FOOD: Overall we loved the food and everything that we tried were properly cooked and simply yummy!• Fish Finger - It was crispy outer with yummy fish filling. The mustard sauce (Kasundi) they use is really of great quality.• Radhavallabi and Aalu Dam Combo : Its Bangla style Daal-puri it tastes really good with Aalu dum and they made it well.• Muri Ghonto (Fish head with veggies like cabbage)- You must try it, it was tasty never knew cabbage can be so tasty as well.• Bhetki Fish Paturi (Deboned Bhetki Fish marinated with mustard paste, chillies wrapped in banana leaf and steamed) - Waah! This was my favourite.• Daab Chingri (Creamy Prawns in coconut gravy and served in whole green coconut ) - 100 points for the presentation and it was on the sweeter side as it has cashews etc. Its good to have with rice.• Murgir Jhol (Chicken curry Bangla Style)- You can either have it with rice or parathas.Desserts: Nolen Gurer Rosogollar Payas - This was ultimate- won my hearts!(We were 4 people, I didnt eat all of it alone :-D )AMBIANCE: Its a cosy place with seating available on two levels. The ambience is fair nothing extraordinary.COST : The Cost was pretty much reasonable. After having all this we had to shell out around 3K and we couldnt finish the Chicken lol it was too much :-DSERVICE : A big hands of applause to Akash. Akash greeted us all with a friendly smile, the service he provided was first class. He is also knowledgable about the items on the menu and helped us choose the right food and we loved all of it. He truly is a credit to your restaurant and he fully epitomises what 5-star service is all about.PARKING: Theres managed parking space, so thats something we neednt worry about.VERDICT: Enjoyed my birthday Lunch with my family. Its definitely a good place for Bangla food.

Now the only brand as per me serving authentic Bengali cuisine in Gurgaon. This outlet is large enough and distributed over two floors. Whenever you have cravings for Bengali food, should head out towards it without much hesitation.

Wanted to have Hilsa (Elish).... but so many items were not available including Hilsa. Instead had Katla which was not fresh.... Bijoli Grill needs to improve to match price vs. items... Once u improve... It will really work as you are Bijoli.. the spark.. the lightning... Or it will strike us all...

Had a great dinner with family and friends. It is awesome to have fried stuff like Veg Chop and Radhaballavi which is not soggy or dripping with oil.The Veg Chop was a surprise as it was delicious and filled with beet root, carrots, groundnuts, etc. It was sumptous.The Veg Fried Rice, Chicken Chaap, Bhapa Rosogolla and Patisapta was more ways to make the stomach says enough, but, the taste buds saying Need more.My relationship with Bijoli Grill goes a long way since my childhood days when my favourite was their Ice cream soda, which is non existent now.I am talking about the days when Campa Cola, Gold Spot and Bijoli Grills soda were the only soft drinks available in the Indian market.Bijoli Grill is a go to place if you are a Bengali, want to acquire the taste of authentic Bengali cuisine or have already developed it by now.It falls under the economical restaurant range as it does not have too high prices and provides quality and quantity food that does not harm your digestive system.Love the place just because of the food and the friendly staff. Space is a challenge as it is inside a mall.However, it is definitely a recommended place for my friends.

I have been a big fan of their stall at Dilli Haat, INA and its my go to palce for Bengali cuisine. So when I came to their outlet at Good Earth I had high hopes. We ordered fish in red curry, rice, daal, Tomato tok, luchi and mutton kasha. Sadly, the mutton was a big let down. It had small shards of bone and it was in every bite. The gravy itself wasnt good. It ruined the entire experience as it was something we looked forward to. Hence, we had to order the daal so that we could have the rice with it. The fish curry was ok and so was the daal.

Good food, great taste..mutton dishes need attention as the mutton was tough n not well cooked. Loved the gur ice cream..just too good. Friendly on pocket. Good service.

Great food very good authentic Bengali spread of a large variety. The fixed meal is a good lunch option. Very non intrusive service with people ready to explain and help out with choices in case of ala carte. Reasonable seating budget prices. Mutton cutlet is very good and is a must try.

If you are dying to have real Bangla food in gourgaon this is the place you are looking for ... they serve all kinds of authentic bangla dishes just like dining in Kolkata ... the exotic Fried Elish and mouth watering luchi with koasha mangso are out of this world ... must try the coconut ice-cream is desert ... very friendly staff speaks both bangla and Hindi ... small but cozy ambience ... a bit high but acceptable pricing ...

I liked food very very much. It was my birthday we went there for lunch. Egg devil, fish fry and mutton biriyani everything taste super. Biriyani was too good . And they gave a complementary dessert . All over my experience was very good there.

Good place to have authentic bengali food,last time I ordered chicken combo which comes with chicken biryani, one chicken gravy,rayta and sweet.Taste was good but quantity was less wrt price.

Being a bong I crave for Bengali food even when Iam going out for a dinner with family. Bijoli Grill is a very renowned name with Kolkatans. At good earth mall it has newly opened a twin floor restaurant with all Bengali staff. Found it very much homely. Offers traditional mouth watering plenty of dishes. Quality of food is as good as a Bengali mom. Had a great time.

Their food is getting worse everyday. First of all, they say they use bhetki, they charge exorbitantly because apparently they are using bhetki, but what you get is horrible basa or surmai. Us bengalis can tell, dont they know? Its nothing short of travesty eating surmai in fish finger!Another fish prep, the famous fish fry, is always undercooked reeking of raw ginger and garlic. That is before you bite into that bhetki-posing surmai!We of Calcuttan descent have revered memories of the Bijoli Grill brand. These people are dragging that name through the mud.

A friend recommended this place on the occassion of Bengalis New Year.Food is good both in quality and quantity. Staff is very courteous and professional.They had the theme of wedding menu style and it was too much for one person to eat.Post that we have visited this place multiple time whenever we craved to eat genuine Bengali food.

Over rated restaurant. Yes, you will get Bengali cuisine, however quality of food & taste is very bad. I had the experience of having food in both the Gurgaon outlets couple of times. Dimer Devil is nowhere near to what it should be, most of the mutton items tastes the same, quality of mutton served is not good, quite often you will find a strong smell of the meat. Comparatively chicken items are better. Prices are also on much higher side. Apart, they deny Dineout reservations with discount, even though they are visible in the Dineout and discounts along with table reservation are provided by the service provider.

I should have avoided ordering from here. For the price, the portion size was one third of what you get from other good places.Ordered Dakbungalow chicken which was just salty chicken curry with roasted onion and tomatoes. Nothing special about it like mentioned in their menu, except for its exceptionally small serving size that could not even feed one. And for a fan of Bengali cuisine, it was not authentic at all... Just another North Indian curry.The parathas were passable, but not good.There are better options in town of you want to eat good Bengali food.

Bengali food in Gurgaon is a disaster, and they are the pioneers of it. Had Kosha Mangsho twice at this Good Earth Mall outlet. Had to keep that Gelusil bottle ready beside the bed all night in both occasions. Please for Gods sake, get a better management & offer quality food for the price u charge here.Thank God we have Oh Calcutta ! at Cyber hub.

Went there during Bengali New year festival 1424 (2017). As like earlier the foods were delicious.....But, not value for money in comparison to other premier buffet restaurants at Gurgaon as Bijoli Grill should have deployed more staffs for this occasion. Though the staffs are good and well behaved but the lack of professionalism was clearly visible. Not recommended for this occasion, but definitely worth in other days.

Been to other Bengali restaurants like O Calcutta, Bananis Kitchen etc and truly cherished the food/service/ambience there. But this place Bijoli Grill failed to meet my expectations.

I heard about Bijoli Grill from bengali frnds and then finally we hit the place. The ambience is nice and cozy with bengali music making it even more authentic. We ordered boneless fish marinated in mustard sauce steamed in banana leaf. It was little spicy with sharp flavours. We liked it .We also ordered mochar chop which was very crispy and had very subtle flavours. It was good to eat .They serve some fresh seasonal aam panna. Its worth a try. Overall, a nice place for both veg and non-veg.

Went there for takeaway. Cooperative staff - helps decide what is good for takeaway. Ordered Fish Orley, Fish Fry, Fish Chop and Chicken Rezala

Fine choice of Bengali food west of Hooghly and Yamuna! Delicacies are prepared and served well.Why only Three stars then ? They lose one for not serving rice used in Bengali cuisine and lose another for restaurant interiors. Helpful staff almost makes up for interiors, though .Way to go, Bijoligrill!

Mouthwatering dishes, made fresh and served with love. Authentic Bengali dishes, full of mustard aroma and taste. So food wise awesome but services can be improved. Off late, quite a delay in bringing the food order on the table. Main dishes one can still wait, but waiting for roti cfor 15 min. that too when it is the second serving is disheartening. Hope it improves!! Otherwise,food wise I absolutely love coming here. Speaking as non-bengali.

Perfect place for authentic Bengali cuisine. We tried special Bengali thali, quantity of which is more than sufficient for one person. The deserts comes with the thali, Amer Chatni and Gokul Pithe were really awesome. The staff here are very polite here.

Went there couple of times. It is situated in good earth city centre. Love their food. Bengali speciality. Their kolkata mutton biryani is a must try. Quantity is fair. Ambience is cosy..except for slight smell from the kitchen as its a bit small in space..but you get used to it after few minutes. The staff are extremely courteous. Those who are searching for bengali food in gurgaon should try it out at least once. Moreover bijoli grill has a name of its own. Love it!

Look no further if you are a Bengali food fan ! Try the one on golf course road. The chef there is better than the one on Good Earth !

Exceeded expectations, maybe because I went with low expectations. We were a group of ten and everyone enjoyed the food. Luchi and kosha mangsho, radhabolobi, misti pulao and chicken kosha, fish orley ... Their kasundi has extra pungency and is a delight (theyll pack you some if you request).
