Having been to Thailand countless times, this food was amazing! Lovely atmosphere, great service, superb tasting food. Well worth the money! If you come during lunch they have an appetizer and main combo.

Absolutely unreal food. The lamb shank is one of the best dishes I have ever eaten. The larb was really good and so spicy! They arent lying when they rate it 3 chillies but still so flavoursome. Would 100000% recommend

The food in this place is absolutely fantastic! We had the banquet set menu and all the dishes were to die for. The below was the present menu for 2, and as you can see the food is more than abundant. To add to it, all the food was delicious!!!The staff is also very attentive and very polite. They all have such a happy approach and generally make the whole experience so much better. I can not recommend this place enough! If you are in Edinburgh and looking for a meal, you HAVE to try it!

This is the place to go for authentic Thai cuisine. Really happy with the service with such friendly staff. Ordered the Tom yum soup, green curry beef and the prawn cashew stir fry - and it was so good! Lovely place 🥰 definitely recommended.

Fresh, delicious, well presented Thai!Dusit were able to accommodate a late booking on a busy night! We had a table for two and were informed in advance that we would only have an hour and a half.Despite that, service was speedy but courteous and we didnt feel rushed. Our glasses were topped up regularly and our tables were wiped down between courses! Great service.Finally the food was gorgeously presented, fragrant and tasty. Highly recommend the moneybags and the Pad Phet Tom Yum (pictured).5 stars!

Great food and the right level of spice (moderately spicy unless you eat the chillies!), including good firm tofu. Could not fault the staff - quick service and always there when you wanted them, without being intrusive, including bringing tap water and regularly topping up without needing to be asked. Prices a little above average but well worth it.

Fantastic authentic and cozy Thai restaurant, with very attentive staff. We had the Banquet set menu, but beware, it was too much for just 2 people despite us getting a very generous range of starters and some sublime mains. We felt bad for leaving it but were stuffed! Highly recommend.

Feels, looks & tastes authentic! Ordered some standard traditional dishes and were very very happy with the quality and portion sizes! We ordered the pad Thai, pad krapow, som tam, green curry & Tom yum soup. Brilliant! Will definitely come back soon.

Small and cosy. The food was lovely, staff were really nice and the portions are generous. Quite possibly the first restaurant I’ve been to where the rice portion was very generous (who else hates running out of rice and there is still so much curry left?!) - we even got a big serving dish where we could help ourselves to what we needed.Things to note, we went on a Sunday and they had a set menu, two courses for £14.99

My partner and I went out for tea last night. The service was flawless, very attentive staff and always available to help you. The food was delicious and the wait wasnt long either. The decor was cosy and they let me alter the menu slightly so I could have a tofu pad thai. Overall great experience.

Very friendly staff. Decor was good. The food was very nice, specifically our starters. The mains we thought were a little bit too westernised, a bit too much coconut cream and a little too sweet. But the quality was very nice.

Visited Dusit for dinner and it was five star experience. The food was by far the best Thai Ive had in the UK! It was fresh, authentic and absolutely delicious. The staff were okey and although the place was small, it had a nice charm to it. Would recommend making a reservation before visiting and its a must go to place in town.

Really bad instant noodles with a taste of cardboard. They didnt even hide it was instant ones as I saw them carrying the pack of noodles to the kitchen.The rest of the food was a bit lower in quality than a usual Asian fastfood, service was cold.Theyre clearly thinking that people dont know anything about thai food.

I never thought that I would find good Thai fusion restaurant in Edinburgh, Scotland. It can get crowded, so a call ahead to make reservations would he smart.

The food is top of the range but a bit disappointed with the staff. They cleared the table while i was still eating, kind of insisting for us to take wine, got us the wrong bill, etc. Small details matter when you pay £60 for 1 starter, 2 dishes and fizzy water.

The prawn salad is excellent, it is soo refreshing. The chicken curry is thick and tasty, although a little bit too sweet for my taste. The waitresses are attentive without being too overbearing. Highly recommended

We had a delicious lunch for my husbands birthday. The staff are so gentle and charming, and the dishes were all truly individual and very tasty. Especially the duck dish ( with £3 supplement). We were so pleased to find such a high quality Thai restaurant open even in these difficult times, when so few people are going out to eat.

Delicious food, noodle is good option with chicken. The location is perfect very close to center, easy to reach. Fair price and good hospitality.

This was the first time Id eaten Thai food omg it was gorgeous. The staff were very attentive, really friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was clean and well presented. I tried Chang beer for the first time too which was delicious. It was worth every penny. I would highly recommend Dusit.

Small, pricey and unexpectedly superb thai restaurant. The food is fresh, satisfactory and well-portioned. The service is fantastic, attentive and polite. If you can afford £20+ for a great spicy meal, this is one of the firsts in my list in Edinburgh. They also have a large variety of drinks for an exquisite dinner. If I ever come back in Edinburgh, I would like to visit this restaurant again.

We have tried every Thai restaurant in Edinburgh, Dusit exceeds them all with true authentic Thai flavours. Lovely meal there yesterday, they do a great value lunch menu worth browsing. Friendly staff and nice location. only problem is parking, but worth the effort.Another visit has shown us that the starters are their best effort. They are all very well done and presented beautifully. The curries are overly coconut creamy (my wife Penang looking like a tin of creamy tomato soup with bits floating). Stick to the stir fries which are well done. Lovely ice cream for dessert.

Complete disregard of COVID guidelines - poor social distancing, tables really close together, customers without masks passing really close to tables, customers allowed to wait close together at entrance, staff wearing masks below their noses, staff grabbing credit cards to make the contactless payment when there was no need. Genuinely felt uncomfortable and disappointed by the experience.

Absolutely first class, from the moment we sat down and saw the table settings with polished wine glasses. The service was exceptional matched only by the quality of the food. It doesnt get better than this. Superb.

The food is really good. 5star service too. The only one minus is that when I came in the restaurant I felt fish smell, which is not that nice for me as a vegetarian. However, after a few minutes I did not feel it anymore. Also I think that they could put a bit less oil in the food, but anyway it tasted really good

Incredible meal

I came across this place based on reviews from Timeout. The waiter was attentive, and did not feel rushed in ordering food. The food was brilliant. As far as pricing goes, it was all very good value for money. I would recommend this place to any one looking for a good Thai meal at reasonable prices. I would definitely be visiting again on my next visit to Edinburgh.

Good Thai food since it was spicy. Nice atmosphere. But perhaps estimate the spices. The spring roll was tasteless but the main dishes were too salty.

Mandatory service charge on the bill but great food. I would love to but wont return to any restaurant that puts service charge on the bill and staff dont know how to deal without. It was a shame because I would have left a tip higher than their service charge.

Very authentic Thai restaurant with great food, and amazing service. I recommend the dumpling appetizer to start. There is a limited beer selection but the two beers to choose from are regional beers from Thailand. Spicy dishes are not too powerful with a great balance of heat and flavor. Dusit exceeded my expectations.

Service was quick and very friendly, food was amazing. Had the Bangkok duck with sticky rice, fresh duck well cooked, good sauce. Ms had a prawn dish, prawns tasted fresh and sauce was great too. Would recommend and visit again. Thanks to the staff/kitchen.

Update: We come here every time we visit Edinburgh and our last visit in May 2021 didnt let us down. As good as ever with very fresh seafood ingredients. Having had a week of haggis, Full Scottish Breakfasts and boiled salmon touring the NC500 we were so happy to splurge here. Twice in two days!No doubt about it! One of the best Thai restaurants anywhere, streets ahead of anywhere else in Edinburgh or, indeed, in central London where I live and am constantly looking for a really good, and actually authentic, Thai restaurant. The dishes were all original, very well balanced, authentically spiced (and that doesnt necessarily mean spicy hot) and just plain delicious. Wholeheartedly recommend.
