Please dont stay hear. February 2021 i booked a room for one night stay. To be honest, it was one of my horrible experience. Bed and entire room was smelly, bathroom is in very bad state. We eventually scared to stay the whole night.Please dont stay hear.

We were the guests in your RETREAT, Tambaram and occupying Room no.401 & 403 on 8-9-21 ( Wednesday ) .Check-in time for 401 is 0300 PMCheck-in time for 403 is 0900 PM.Our plan was to attend a family function by 0500 AM next-day , return by 1000 AM and checkout by 1600 hrs.*To our utter shock**The rooms were not clean**No intercom facility*.*The locks were not at all working**No restroom kit viz .Soap etc.*,*Lift is also not working*.( Inspite of advance booking done on 2-9-21 itself by making advance payment)After great struggle by us the locks were set right.No cooperation from your staff ..For any problems we will have to contact Sri.Rajan who is not present in site..Because of the above we were forced to leave for the morning activities early by 0300 AM itself to the function hall. That means we went to hall to complete the washroom activities for which the rooms were booked , making the booking as a waste one.Only two of us returned to the Room and vacated the both by 0300 PM itself..Overall our experience with you is horrible and not at all satisfactory..We feel that our full amount of Rs.4300 gone in to drain in addition creating tension ..*Incidentally our friends/relatives of Tambaram area not recommended your hotel and we noticed that the rating of your hotel in the public domain is also very poor which we were not aware before check-in.*

The best stay ever. The environment was pleasant and welcoming. Both check-in and check-out were professionally handled and easy

Its a very good hotel. The ruggedness you may notice now is due to the effects of covid lockdown and the business is getting back to normal. The rooms are spacious with ample space just like home. The service is very good . Though they do not have any room service from the restaurants situated below you can just walk down to get one of the best dishes from the bar restaurant below or the kfc though I would request you not to visit the family restaurant in the ground ground floor. The hotel allows food from outside and a very helpful staff are there to attend to your needs . If you are in chennai with friends , this is the ideal joint and if you are with family this is a safe place as well.

Nice and decent room for 2 adults dey are extra bed if required. No restaurant available in the hotel but u can order from nearby restaurants. Room tariff offline Rs.1800 (AC, wifi and tv available) for 24 hrs.

Very smelly room and dust all over the place. Seems like they were closed for business from long.towels were not clean and sheets had stains.As mentioned by the hote about my stay authenticity would like to share that me and Gajender stayed in this hotel on 30th Dec 2020.

This has well equipped facilities and in and around Homely atmosphere which suggests The very name of the hotel. Cozy place to stay, prime location, worth the hospitality

Police raid in the pretext of security check at a 3 star hotel.Hotel Retreat, Camp Road, Selaiyur, Chennai.With utter disgust im writing my nightmare experience in this Hotel. We were overnighting at this hotel with my family due to personal work. In the middle of the night at around 1:30 am there was a unanymous call on my phone.And, There was loud knock on the door. ((they didnt use the calling bell)) suspected that it mite be the hoteliers. But still we were hesitant to open the door as it was untime. I called back to the number to check whether he was knocking the door and was he a hotel staff. His voice came in a very calm tone inquiring where am I? I just kept asking who are you. There was no reply from the other end.I just felt the knock and the call was disconnected. And called the hotel reception, Asking if there is any emergency,and have they sent any staff to our room cos someone is keeping on knocking the door. And also informed him that we are getting unanymous calls . The receptionist claimed that he aint aware of any of this situation happening at 4th floor of his hotel.Suspected the situation, I looked into the door lens I saw a police in his uniform wearing proper badge. And observed he took his phone to call and it struck that my phone was ringing.As the whole situation was suspicious, we didnt open the door. Instead my mom who was staying along with me called back to the same number and informed this is not the right time to come for rounds /raid. Moreover we cant open the door just because u r wearing a uniform, and we are checking the situation and will properly confirm the same and then open .He still didnt stop knocking.Meanwhile I tried to reach my relatives for help. But he refused to leave and kept knocking.. It wasnt even a group of policemen,just one person. Then we threatened that only after we get a proper details from the local police station we can open the door ,will contact the nearby police station and call back. thats when he left..The whole situation was suspicious as to, how he got my number, if it is from the receptionist then y was he totally unaware of the situation? Why didnt the police /hotelier follow the proper protocol ?? Nor the receptionist didnt alert us on the intercom or even come along with him knowing that a family was staying ? Why didnt he reveal the true details when he called @1:30 am? And also after all the hungama, the receptionist or staffs didnt show up at all. Even after the incident why didnt they show up until now.Everything leaves me clueless. Im just writing this to check whether anyone has been in such situation before . And to add to the above woes, please dont stay in this terrible hotel.P. S: wanna give 0 star,, unable to post with 0 star /so selected 1 star...

No response on last 22/12/18 night just asking room rent but instead of half day only internet booking users. And rent is Rs. 2400 per day for A/C room. Please any one need good room is near Thambaram available. Or pallavaram low cost rooms available

What kind of a service is this? This hotel is the worst customer service I have ever faced. That manager is a cheat who maintained we havent booked any rooms with them. Finally after arguing for 45 minutes he said he didnt confirm the room when the request was raised. I was denied rooms in the hotel saying the rooms were full and my booking online is not valid. When I was arguing with him he allotted rooms to some other new people walking in. Finally he showed a room where I wouldnt even urinate on. I decided not to stay in his bathroom. It was suffocating and seemed nobody used the room for many many days.My old parents had so much burden due to booking in this hotel. Pls stay away.

Its is a very good property. This is my second visit here. This property is nearby my office so location is also good. My all colleagues stay here only and book through goibibo. Service quality is nice here. Food is also good. Cleanliness is beautifully taken care in the hotel. Hotel has separate floors for the business class people and family persons. Overall a very nice stay.

For 3000 rupees for a night i expected more. There was no soap/shampoo in the bathroom. There is no separate bathtub either. So the water spilled all over the floor. Iron box was available from the front desk. Room was clean. Missed the breakfast, never really had food there, so cant comment on the food. The remote control was not working for the digital satellite box, i asked them to take a look. They changed the battery and gave it back and it was still not working, so i gave up. Location is very closer to public transport. Bus Stop is right across the road. Be careful while crossing the road. There is signal but there is no separate signal for pedestrians. The place felt secure on 3rd and 4th floor. The staff was responsive and always at the reception.

Worst ever 3star hotel i have seen. Worst reponse from the managers and the workers and the faculty is not maintained well.

The experience was bad. The AC was leaking water all the time and was not taken care of even after complaining. The tariff was very high and against the services available. Bad experience all together.

Best place to celebrate your party with mugs of beers and glasses of wine in camp road. The only downside is that its pretty costly!
