We stayed here for 2 days and we had a great hospitality. The food is really good with very peaceful ambiance. People here are very friendly and accessible all the time. We will definitely come back here if we have to visit Chennai!

Good car parking facility and service is good.... Can improve small issues checking lights and TV signals before handing rooms to customers .... Staffs are polite and getting response immediately... Food is good....

No frill no nonsense, economic, clean, missed some items which would have been there in room without asking, like dairy whitener. Toilet size can be compared with of an aircraft. Shower too is small . Room size is also small. But i will say that for official tours and night stay, its good. No compromise on cleanliness , thats good. Campus has a small temple, and i liked it.

Room is small. No space to breath. No cupboard. No hangers.No iron box or stand which was expected in a 4star. Complement Breakfast was good. WiFi very poor. Reception guys are there to help but too much professional. Morning 7 to 9am u cannot find any help desk and reception guys, empty nobody will be there. After dinner if you keep plates outside it will stay there till next day afternoon. Even If ordered normal veg sandwich u need to wait 45minutes. As small the name, keep expectations lower

Cleanliness in room is not up to the mark. Had to argue for getting basic room services. Be ready to pay 150 bucks for a coffee that is not hot at all. Disappointed.

IBIS OMR Chennai is located on the the old Mahabalipuram road, it shares its porch with the Novotel since both the hotels belong to the Accor group and the IBIS being the economy hotel. The room size was small as mentioned in the booking but was sufficient for a single guest, the room had a cleverly tucked almirah, a small portion of fixed couch along the bed side, a writing desk with chair a small window with horizontally moving screen for it. The room had tea coffee kettle. The washroom was smartly designed keeping in mind small space. The shower enclosure was triangular in design which was just enough for a person of tall frame. There were basic toiletries, and the housekeeping provided shaving kit and comb when asked for.The towels were spotlessly clean and soft to feel. I had got a very good deal of lunch/dinner with breakfast along with the booking which was of great value. The buffet dinner and breakfast was in the restaurant at Novotel. The spread was reasonable, except for the green curried chicken in dinner which was too salty to taste everything else was good and the same was true for the breakfast. I however faced issue with the door lock on the day of the checkout as it wasnt opening and I had to repeatedly request to send someone to open the door as I was getting late and it took them quite sometime to resolve it. Also it seemed to me that the front desk staff was insufficient and she at times had to shunt to Novotel, which delayed the formalities a little for the guests. Considering my overall experience I would rate it 3.5 out of 5 and I still would not mind considering coming back due to the value it offered.

Ibis being a budget hotel of sorts, the size of the room was okay, but the bathroom/toilet and the bed itself was too small. There was a piece of soap in the bathroom, the shower gel bottle was dried out. What concerned me the most was that the room was visibly dirty collecting dust in the corners. The same applied to floor corridors as well. The main lobby was spacious with access to sanitizers. But these were not present in other common spaces. Buffet(In Novotel complex) was decent enought. Room service food was stale/reheated and expensive for the quality and quantity given.

Expensive but Highly classy, it got lot of stuff to have pleasant stay and release ur stress like swimming pool, gym, basketball, archery, skates, cricket nets, table tennis, carom board, chess, table soccer, playstation and a lovely balcony for fresh air

Absolutely clean, well trained- courteous & friendly staff - always willing to help, serve you. Excellent food - very wide range platter be it ,breakfast, lunch or dinner. Buffets r d best bet especially for a vegetarian ! The chef was so cordial to re-fill d empty bowls(v were late though)

A bit disappointment at the reception. No one is not being there to guide the guests about anything at the time of arrival. Little practicality is missing in rooms. Apart of that our stay was so good with the clean and hygeinic rooms.
